I just purchased a 2024 Honda HR-V EX-L AWD, (Modern Steel Dark Gray Metallic/Black Leather) and love it! I just wish Honda had more color choices for the HR-V's

Just reserved a 2024 Sport in Urban Gray for myself. Excited to get it. Thanks for your HRV reviews for the 2023 and 2024. All are super helpful. The blind spot monitoring was a good callout. I’m looking at a month before I get it, and this was a car the dealership already had on order. If I had to order it, I’m thinking it would be longer than a month. Crazy to get a car these days! 😊

Honda needs to correct the engine option. 158 hp is already underpowered. It needs an upgrade to at least the 185 hp in the Civic.
I agree but most of my customers didn’t buy the HR-V because it was fast. They were either buying their first car (Parents preferred the non turbo engine) or a lot older who didn’t need something fast. The 158 HP is fine for A to B commutes.
Not everyone likes the turbo styled engine!
Especially the HR-V buyers
185 would be too close to the crv’s, 158 is in line in the class
If they made a turbo, that would be fine for those who want an engine that won’t get good gas mileage or last them as long… I’ll keep the 158 hp 2 L that gets good gas mileage and will last forever👍🏻

We started car shopping for my wife a month or so ago. This car came up early as the vehicle of choice. Unfortunately we found out there are none available to even look at in our area. One of the dealers we went to said it would have to be ordered if we were interested in one. We simply wont buy a car we aren't sure we'd be comfortable in.

@@ShakeemWalkaroundThanks. So far great. Not as powerfull and efficient as my previous 2021 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport, but its clearance is much bigger, so it's much more easy going over pot-holes, high curbs and ramps steep slope changes.

Yes you’ll fit. If your more legs then torso. I recommend sitting in one in person

You can't get the sunroof or fall lights on the sport, and none of trims have an armrest in the back seat. That's. seems silly to me. And if you get the EXL, you can't get the exposed exhaust pipe. nor the 18 inch black wheels. just ridiculous.
I got a 24 HR-V EXL FWD with blind spot Milano Red black leather. I traded my 20 fit EX. I wanted an accord EX but the insurance increase was 445. The HRV was 235. 210 less insurance increase over 6 months sealed it. The civic insurance increase was 440. It’s expensive to fix the accords and civics.
I paid 29,000 with 100K warranty included and no adds or market adjustments. I told 4 dealerships no on overpricing. Don’t over pay
Can anyone confirm that US sport B model is the same as the Canadian sport model? from what I can see is the Canadian sport B model comes with 17s inch rims.

They are identical. You made a good choice
what I don't like with our HRV Sport 23 is that outside noise goes inside the car. So if the road is rough, it's noisy inside the car.
In my opinion, the HR-V is more entry-level. The CRV is more of a premium vehicle. Even quieter is the Passport. But a more luxurious ride does cost more money.

How is the sound system?
It’s very good. It won’t sound like a concert but better than most cars. The Bose sound system sounds real good in the Exl
They added usb type c for the 2024 HRV, the 2023 HRV didn't come with it.

No I went to Honda dealer at 7pm and they almost close... Y check other cars and i drive one ,but after I see this 2024 hrv red Milano color nice..and i don't drive it ..i just see it inside and out and because it was a new car i say let get this one.. day after i expected this car didn't have blind spots sensor...
It is the Sport and i this car get a lot of gas in city only give me like 17 miles per gallon and hwy like 20 miles... I drive for Uber..
I don't order any car i just went dealer and they tell me.. i am the first costumer who buy the new Hrv 2024 in this dealer...

Is the interior actually black? In the video it looks lighter, more like a dark gray. I HATE black interiors, that's what I have now and I hoped to never have it again.
And the orange stitching on a green car is, well, different.
Actually, I just watched your video further where you can choose your interior. There, the interior was definitely coal black, but in the car you just reviewed, it's not, it's gray.
Honda says black. Some people say it’s not. I recommend seeing it in person
