I have only known your channel for 4 days and after watching your devlog TWICE I have made a large paper of ideas for your game. 1A. A mushroom affect could be that the camera angle could be change slightly 1B. It would be cool if there could be glowing mushrooms inside of a cave 1C. I can see healing items could be a bit useless if you regenerate health normally. 2A. Could there be fist fighting? 2B. It would be cool if there was a lance or a fencing wepon. 2C. When the player swings the huge club it looks like it's light on how easily the player swings it. 2D. It could be cool if their could be status effects like freeze,burn, or poison. Also you could enchant weapons so they inflict these status effects on hit. 2E. The bow could have a limited amount of arrows you can shoot but you can pick up the arrows that you missed and that are on the ground. 3. Their could be chests that are colored differently and that give you better items or more gold. Also chest keys would be cool. 4A. Their could be a chance that a river runs under a bridge. 4B. Their could be a diff face and a chance that an avalanche happens and a chance that thieves push boulders onto the player and then attack the player. 4E. It would be cool for a campfire terrain block with a chance of thieves. 5.the spike pit could be stained with the colored blood from players and enemies 6. Their could be a sneak potion that allows you to pass sleeping enemies without waking them. 7. Why not the cliche sword in stone? Thank you very much for taking your time to read this. It took me like 7 minutes to type this out. Also with what ever you have rapped around your mic, it makes it look like a burrito

Also there could be a small town that uses the building materials that are similar to the bridge. The town can also have a higher chance to spwan a merchant. Also when I was reading some comments I saw someone talk about a sack and it having apples and that could spawn in the town. An idea for the mushroom is that it could give items a pallet swap. I wish I could be a paterion but my family is saving up for a trip to Washington D.C. on my birthday that's on May 15 Also I ment cliff face, not diff face

Well, there is a troll but it is not so much as a boss but more of a strong, normal enemy. A boss would be cool but it depends on what direction the game heads.

You should make a message when you die like: You didn't hit the sack. Edit: a few questions 1. Is the game going to be free 2 wich timezone do you live in? And how late do you upload in that timezone? I can get to the time in my timezone by myself.
You should add different merchants according to their color Red =common has semi good weapons Orange = pretty decent weapons but not that common Yellow = is rare to find but has good loot Purple = he will be the rarest one to find wears a purple cloak and sell very rare items Note : each time you buy there should be time till another one spawns
I think a dollar sign ($) over the merchant would make the players think he sells stuff. I would only use the question mark if some guy is about to give you a quest.
i'd do something like an equipment system, you can equip a helmet, and a sheath, helmets can give defence for certain things/elements, and sheaths can give extra damage for certain things, but only work with certain weapons, this would be hard but cool. Also, maybe a random weapon generator? handles choost element and range, while blade/head chooses damage and attack type? these are just a bunch of random suggestions, and im hoping it can help you out!

5:06 You should make the character move next to the merchant if he is too close You should also make the merchant sell some things that you can't get anywhere else, and also some weapons that you can only get from enemies etc

You should also be able to purchase enchanted weapons from the merchant, because the weapons that you can just find for free are the same as the ones you pay for, this would encourage the use of the merchant for better weapons - I saw someone else talk about enchanted weapons so don't give all the credit to me

You should make armor when walked over or bought from a merchant it will add arm gaurds or even legs protection to add extra health or scripted a new bar just above the health with a shade of blue to show how much health the picked up armor has left.. Ps really loving the game!
Ok suggestion i think you should make it so that mabye the merchant could have like I steed in the background like a horse? Also when you reach the end of the level I think that all the players who are dead should have little flags to remember them.
Yay! New update! You inspired me to start trying to make games on unity! I was already wanting to make games, but I thought unity was expensive, the version that comes with classes is, but the personal version doesn't, so I can just Google them, (like you said a while ago)
I think it would be funny if the merchant throws whatever you bought at you, and said something along the lines of, "here catch" hurting you a bit If it's a weapon or making you eat it if it's a consumable They wouldn't have top do this all the time maybe just once in a whole would be a funny surprise

the reason is that when you click the like counter gets increased but the view counter gets increased every 5 seconds or so
add a biscit or something that will make u do somethings for 20 sec or more it could give u speed or strength
