The moment that earned my Sub 4:46 “We don’t do math on this channel, Nerd. So Just start blasting.” Good content, probably 1000 hours into MH games and never touched a bowgun but I’m considering it now after watching this!
5:42 Ohhh! I was wondering what this ammo type was for, when spread exists! But this now makes a lot more sense and I like your usage of it in rampages!
I play MH since MH3 on the 3DS and i played Longsword since the beginning, but in this game i switched to Light Bowgun for literally no reason, i just developed a love for Shooter games, and with the Light Bowgun you have the movement of an SMG and the Shooter Gameplay i absolutely love !
I started playing lbg with mh4u and it was the first weapon i used all the way through grank and end game guild quest. I also love the weapon in gen/GU mostly because of the internal ammo system they had in place. Sadly i have lost interest in the weapon with the 5th gen games because of gameplay changes with ammo(crag/stickies) and movement. BUT i am glad people are enjoying the weapon that was my first love in mh it really is a weapon that brings many options to the hunt
I just always feel like ranged is easy mode. Yeah you gotta be able to aim and dodge and manage ammo, but it's an entirely different thing to stand in the monsters face countering everything it tries to do. I feel like ranged is good for players who need to learn the enemies attack patterns before going melee.
Bowguns has pretty much been insanely powerful in all the MH games, especially HBG. but sadly I don't rly like them in world/rise primarily because it lost its OOMPH that the old games had. having to stand still while firing and reloading made the weapons feel quite weighty and had risk. world/rise have no risk at all so I personally just fall asleep. Im glad bow atleast still feels risky to use ( even if the rise version is absurdly OP )
MH Devs: so we make a game about hunting monsters using a versatile set of swords Publisher: yeah but like shooters are really popular, could you make it like a game with guns and stuff? MH Devs: but we already have the concept ready to go Publisher: make it work Mh Devs:......ok
Start playing mh rise 3 days ago and pick all weapon but fell in love when i try lbg, i can turn of my brain for a god damn complex combo when i play with lbg aim and just fire RATATATATATA
LBG is amazing. It was amazing in IB as well. In fact it is so good that it makes Rise even more of a cake walk than it already is, which is sadly the reason I stopped using it
Nice video, really shows the advantages of this weapon. But you didn't mention the best part: That you don't even need Flinch Free!! I have to agree that the Silkbind moves feel kinda meh, but they are still incredibly useful, at least the active ones. The passive ones are very underwhelming imo. Silkbind Glide is not only a gap-closer but also a high-damage single-hit cutting attack, Fanning Vault lets you place mines on a monsters back or wing and is also an evasion move, and Fanning Maneuver is a nice relocation move that also buffs your damage.
Fanning Vault is fun, but bad. The usefulness of landing a mine isn't worth the risk of getting hit (a very high risk). Your other options provide much higher damage potential.
I never had an interest in LBG but I do see it as a pretty cool weapon with it’s utility, and the best part of all…ITS A RANGE WEAPON SO YOU CAN’T EVEN GET TRIPPED!!!!
Finally some appreciation for the lbg. Everyone loves to praise the hbg but to me this weapon to me is so much more satisfying to use. What were your thoughts on it in world?
I personally don't believe any ranged weapons should be viable late game. They make the game too easy, might as well just download a mod and play though the game if you're abusing the insane dps of bowgun. Sure there should be a easy mode for people who don't want to have a challenge but they shouldn't be able to take down the biggest baddest monsters without ever feeling an ounce of difficulty or challenge.

Great work man!
Inspired by your great Bowgun content! Thank you brudda ❤️

You forget the best feature of LBGs, you do NOT NEED flinch free on your build to play with people. Also, yeah AngBata is the legend gunner
That Intro, fuggin "Mwah!" Gyat Damned Amazing
waiting on the mhr hammer video. Also, all of these "why i love..." are amazing, i sometimes rewatch all of them just for fun
I really appreciate it 😅 comments like these make it worth it every time!!
@@HandiTips Hey, I was wondering why I dont see you stream much anymore? Do you stream on twitch now or somethin?
You know your intros are the best, right?
Greatly appreciated 😅
Wow, french guy here, you definitively make me want to master this weapon next! Hunter for 3 months RM80, excellent video
ngl this was not a video I expected, but its really nice to see that you're enjoying the lbg now

Appreciate the choice of opening music
GOD DAMN THAT INTRO

Lbg has "a range of options". Nice😁.

That was one juicy intro!
That's the only way to do it!!!
LoL at first I was wondering why it looked "odd" to me... It was the damage numbers turned off that threw it off for me
Now there needs to be a doomguy layered armor mod.

LBG is my favorite, this is the first monster hunter I have ever played and it's the best game I have ever played! great video!
Did you see the new light trailer. The algorithm recommended this video cause of it. I hope you love it .
Man, I remember how my Karma carried my noob ass through the majority of World.
Sucks that the rest of the tree was nerfed in Iceborne.
A surprise to be sure
I would like to see a vídeo on HBG someday. I Even watch The weapons I don't use, great work, keep it up.
I ALWAYS watched Angbata when I was trying out the LBG!!!
The best!!!

Can't go wrong with DOOM to represent something you love. Gonna be a good one, I can tell.

The Elemental Piercing ammo only hits 3 times, correct?
using Normal LBG with KT was fun whenever I didn't want to pull out the Horn

LOVE me some CC

what other reason could there be except guns are damn strong? ofc there not ez, but u dont need to play risky and get a lot of worth
You turned me to a hammer main with your MHW video now you're asking me to buy Rise and be a LBG user. You're evil lol
My plan is still working I see 😈😈
HBG exists, so I’m not playing LBG.
