TGC I appreciate your "Stream of Consciousness" style in videos, however in this type of video I think it subtracts from what your trying to communicate. I believe having a little more structure would help organize the content and prevent you from having to double back (~22m and ~25m). This will be less of an issue with subsequent videos but in my mind one of the greatest strengths to the guns is the variability of play styles the ammo and ammo stats create; but here feel like it caused you to wander. I really like the summary you provide at ~10m for the LBG, and wished the whole video was in that format: with you explaining why and doing your demonstrations, following the outline you present in the summary. I did enjoy the video and think it presented a lot of really good content and look forward to the next 6. Keep up the great work, you are my favorite resource for MHW content that's not geared to speed runners. :D
The stream of conciousness allows me to share my thoughts very quickly, and Ive found that to be a really enjoyable way to talk about the game. Sometimes I write long scritps and do heavy editing that can take like 8 to 16 hours, but over time Ive learned this sucks the fun out of talking about the game (for me). So Im letting it happen more naturally in this video. I can understand if you wanted more production quality though.
@@TheGameconomistThank you for taking the time to reply to me. I only offer this critique as a means of feedback to you, to share my thoughts as a viewer. I understand and appreciate the work that goes into the production and polish that goes into your videos, especially considering the amount of content you produce, and am very thankful that you are willing to continue doing it. From what I have gathered from your content, it is true to your personality to do a more "relational" type of video where you engage with your viewers and share your own experience; which I personally enjoy as a break from a lot of the other "Best..." videos pervasive on TH-cam. Perhaps it is just semantics, but I felt a disconnect between my expectations of a "Review" type video and the more fluid structure of the content you provide here. Lbg is more fun to play for me. Hbg I only use Zinogre for spread and Tobi for Pierce. Mobility is nice as iceborne monsters are pretty quick and I don't prefer to get hit at all instead of tanking every hit
I think LBG is my most used weapon... don't even have 200 uses for my other weapons but LBG... over 700 uses. I love playing healer as it helps, it really helps people in SOS situations. If people fire off an SOS they NORMALLY cannot handle the monster meaning their armor isn't up to snuff. So having a healer drop in and save the day is just an overall good thing. Also Friendship Charm lvl 5 helps greatly in this!

Something that you said. Rapid Fire DOESNT do more damage if you really want to max dps .Those 3 shots do roughly same damage as 2 shots without RF while taking more time .What rf does best is AMMO EFFICIENCY. You shoot slower but get more from each clip

Yes the CCII is better, but the fact that I get pierce 1,2,3, flaming and ice, cluster 1 and 2, sticky and slicing I feel ots a pretty easy to craft and generally all around great weapon. Theoretically, their playstyle determines their output where Lbg has more mobility to evade thus dishing out damage in intervals between attacks while Hbg has big ammo reserves and long animations meaning they rely on doubling down on massive damage in a short period to match dps or risk getting hit (needing more street smarts of knowing monsters) Means Lbg works with everyone really but usually works better with the same playstyles evaders who can handle themselves (LS, SnS, Bow, IG, DB, GL, CB) HBG works better with disablers or tanks to draw out aggro (unless ur the tank but another tank is also good)-- Lance, Hammer, HH, SnS, CB And usually Lbg shines on Elemental ammo while Hbg works best with the niche Spread or Pierce
