Mazda 3 Front Brake Discs & Pads Replacement - MK3 2014

In this video I replace the front brake discs and pads on a Mazda 3 MK3 2014 model
The vehicle required replacements due to having a groove worn into the inner face of one disc and the pad depth getting low.
This is a really simple job and ideal for beginners to vehicle maintenance.

Brake caliper rewind/push back kit: ebay.us/tIsoTv
Torque values used:
Brake pad carrier to hub: 90Nm
Caliper to carrier: 30Nm
Wheel: 125Nm

Great that you mention the brake fluid reservoir. So many videos don’t. I use a G clamp for piston but that tool you gave is perfect

How do you know which pads are right when ordering them, even when you put in the reg you get pads that are clearly not right, and I got textars before that were the right form factor but the paint made it not fit right?

For pads I like the bremo catalogue, easy to use and clear, febi Bilstein is also good. Yeah had the same issue with bad paint before, can cut it back with a Stanley blade or a file but inconvenient at best
