We Went To Tokyo!!! | Airport to Disney Resort Area & Checking Into Hilton Tokyo Bay Hotel

- In today's vlog we head back to the airport for another adventure! This time we're on our way to Tokyo, Japan to visit Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea!! This has always been a dream trip for us and we're so incredibly excited that we're finally able to get over there! We also met Stephie and Dave from / krispysmore at the airport!!!!! Make sure you check out their vids from the trip as well!! We all take a bus from the airport over to the Hilton Tokyo Bay Hotel and check in. We got a club level standard bay view room and we really enjoyed our stay here a lot! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We show you around the room and then we head to bed to get ready for our very first Tokyo Disneyland day ever!!! AHHHH. So excited! So the shower! Japanese people will sit on a little stool and wash themselves down with the shower (usually they hold it in their hands). That's why the mirror is at knee-level (because usually you would be sitting when you shower!). Then you get in the tub once washed, for a relaxing and dirt free soak! I hope you enjoyed the room - looked lovely!

My favorite parks to visit! As someone who lives in Seattle, its amazes me that it can be more affordable for me to fly to Tokyo Disney then to WDW.

So far, impressed with Japan and how they are neat and clean! Hotel thought of everything including keeping dirty street shoes off the carpet......if only in America....where hotel rooms are ...well, better not say. My granddaughter just came back from Japan and brought with her some of the neatest little treasures. She was impressed with the country and now I can see why....again, a great vlog Tim. You are a pro.

MsKestrela hello I went to japan in the spring and oh man you have to go just for the experience it was unbelievable the food and the culture. Also you have to go just for Disney Tokyo sea it is an unbelievable park and being a Disney veteran it’s so beautiful 100% recommend going and working for it!!!

So cool! Have an amazing time you guys! Just a heads up: Japanese people usually shower ( the little stool is a stool to sit on while washing your hair and then you can see in the mirror) before taking a bath since they share a bath with their family. So if you shower and then get in the tub, the water doesnt get dirty. Also, they usually take a bath each day just to unwind.

The Meditating Dog Oh, hello! :-) It's so great to find another fan of Kara and Nate! They, along with Tim & Jenn are my FAVORITES - they are just the best! I just found Kara and Nate on New Year's, but have been watching The Trackers for years and years now. We do have fantastic taste, if I say so myself. I sometimes dream that they will do a collaboration, though I doubt that will ever happen. A girl can dream. ;-)
FireCracker3240 Yes, I always see your comments on their videos and love reading them! A staple of every video! TimTracker is wonderful. Been watching them for about a year or two, so a while as well. Love their Disney videos as I live near Disneyland. I recently found Kara and Nate in March. Was preparing for a trip to Ecuador and watched their vlogs for that. 2 weeks ago, I stumbled upon their channel again and have been hooked since. At vlog 145 already! Love TimTracker and Casey Neistat, but Kara and Nate have such great content and have become my new favorite. Sorry Tim and Jen. Nice to find you here as well and to chat!
The Meditating Dog Thank you for the kind words. I discovered Kara & Nate accidentally... they were in the YT sidebar with day 1 of their TransSiberian Railroad adventure. I was curious, so I watched that one video and thought they were so fun and lovely and I was hooked right away! I watched several more videos, in order, and then started back at 1 and started watching with their first vlog... ironically to Tokyo! I then binge watched every single one until I had caught up, which took several weeks. I went from watching hours and hours of their videos a day to now having to wait several days for new content (running out of old videos is so sad). I comment on every video because I want them to know how much I support them, how much what they do matters, and how wonderful I think they are. Being on vlog 145, wow, you have so many wonderful places yet to see! Some of my favorites... the Bolivian Salt Flats, Iceland, The Galapagos Islands, Peru, and last but certainly not least... Italy. Pretty much all of it, but mostly the ones with Bob & Gina. That's just a few, but it's so hard because they're all so good.
As for Tim & Jenn.. still love them and still watch them. They're not as active in the comment section as they once were (they had 45,000 subscribers when I started watching), and I miss that sometimes... getting a response to one of my comments, or getting a response during their mail vlogs, but I'm truly happy for their success.

I know this is a day late but, I'm so glad you guys get to enjoy Tokyo Disney!!! I traveled there August 2016 and also stayed in the Hilton Tokyo Bay!! I recommend the coffee shop and the little market, they got so many good treats (Btw if you want to add sugar to your coffee you have to use "gum syrup", it's liquified sugar and is super delicious!). We had a view of Disney so at night we got to see the fireworks!
Also to explain the shower thing: In Japan people usually shower by sitting on a stool and in front of a mirror (hense the stool, mirror at your knees, and the drain on the floor). After showering they climb into the bath where they soak and relax for a bit. You always shower before entering the bath because you want to keep the water clean (the water is usually added at the start of washing)! I hope this clears up any confusion!

Tim, I know that this is a little late, but when you fly long distances leave your contacts out. I just find that it’s easier to do so. It’s always soooooo dry on the plane that I find it more comfortable if I take them out before I get on the plane. Then it also allows you to fall asleep without worrying about having them in.
I was there last year! Be sure to ride the spinning water floaters at Volcano Bay! They are soo fun!

Hey, just wanted to say that as far as marriage and life goals, you guys are such an inspiration! Its so amazing to see you guys live out your lives and work and stuff, but then also taking these trips due to what I assume to be dedication saving and hard work! Someday maybe when my boyfriend and I move in together and later get married, I hope we are able to travel together and just be as awesome as you two, such a great example of adulting and being happy. When I went to Tokyo Disneyland the monorails where so comfortable, perfect for after a long day at the parks!
The Hilton is walkable from both parks.
I visited there at Easter.
Disney seas was amazing
I bet the doors don't pop open on those monorails and chunks of metal don't fall off into the parking lots... Just a hunch.

I absolutely fell in love with Tokyo when I worked there in 2014. Never got the chance to visit Disney but experienced a lot of the culture including climbing Mount Fuji - a religious pilgrimage for many. I stayed at the Hilton Tokyo in Shinjuku and the service was incredible. Looking forward to more videos!

I’ve never been to Tokyo Disney, but I’ve been to Tokyo back in late June of 2013 for five days after I visit my relatives in Singapore with my family. It was fun and the food are delicious. I hope you and Jen enjoy the rest of the trip in Japan!!
