Walt's dream of a Small World came true in this video. An American couple and a British couple, who met through Disney, are having fun together in Disney Japan. I think this video would make Walt very happy.
Everyone in Tokyo Disney waves at each other on the rides and smiles ,everyone in Magic KIngdom Florida tramples on each other ,and runs over you with strollers, and would step on you go get a better view of the fireworks . I feel Tokyo Disney is how USA disney was In the 1970s
Haha I love this comment! When I went with my family back in 2018 around New Years, people would always wave at each other on the rides and my dad and brother LOVED that, so they waved at everyone who passed by on the ride. And people we re always so excited and happy! I definitely can't wait to go back
This is odd because I've gone to Disney in Florida several times throughout my life and once in California- and all of them were wonderful. People waved and were friendly.
The Tokyo parks focus a lot more on different franchises and wanted merchandise for japan, like Disney themed face masks, place mats, a lot of plushies, and they have a ton of themed snack boxes. In Japan, giving gifts isn’t a common tradition because then they feel bad, and have to give a present back, which is why a lot of the merch you can buy are snack boxes and treats, if you were to give them to other people.
Japan has way different stuff. When I was there a few months ago it was mostly like school stuff and boxed popcorn. Not a lot else that we have in the US
@@Lil_Angry_Bitch I worked at disney for the disney college program and whenever I rung up a guest from Japan getting little souvenirs they would ask for little bags to go for each souvenir because they were all gifts it was adorable!
We hardly ever comment, but this trip has us incredibly excited, and we thank you so much for taking us on a trip we may not be able to go on for a very long time.
Late to the Party Wow! You just listed four of my five favorite sites! If you haven’t tried the Trackers’ friends’ sure, Krispysmore , you’re missing out!
Im soooo Excited for you guys! Jenn could you Please do a logistics video after all this talking about finding flights, hotels research planning and all logistics about planning a tokyo trip. Im very very interested. maybe a video about culture or things you wouldnt expect while being in japan. thanks!!! i hope you see this!
Wow. I've been considering an overseas Disney vacation but a little worried about planning and language barrier. Would love to hear more about planning and how it went.
Best toilets ever!!! I learned that the Japanese truly cares about the citizen's comfort and the citizen cares and are respectful of their environment. It was an amazing experience!
I do want to thank Tim and Jenn for all of their great videos. Because of this, we went to Disney World a couple of years ago and fell in love with Orlando. My husband was laid off from work and went back to college and earned 2 associate degrees. And we will be moving to Orlando soon. Our dream is finally happening!!! Thank you Tim and Jenn for the inspiration!!!!
Fun fact: The Japanese aren't particularly fond of getting wet on rides. They had to change Splash Mountain because of this. It doesn't have the big splash at the end, it just mists up. See 23:43
ZergeiTV I think because Japan is VERY humid (except winter) so not only it takes a long time to dry your clothes but humidly/wet has been noticeable element of discomfort and safety hazard (home molds) in Japan. Also, have your clothes wet in public considered out of manners since cities are packed and people ride public transportation that could cause others to get wet. Typically, average Japanese spend more money on their garments than average Americans. That’s why all Japanese people use umbrella as soon as rain and all the stores provide umbrella cover for customers’ wet umbrella.
Brought tears to my eyes watching this. I was born and raised in Japan (military brat) and both the resort and Disney sea were my favorite places to go. So beautiful and I loved seeing how things have changed. I haven’t been home since 2006, and seeing this made my heart so happy. Thank you for bringing back so many wonderful memories for me.
I can’t believe the Tiki Room is Stitch themed! It’s so cute and not nearly as scary as the “under new management” animatronics were. Also, it seems they were singing the theme song from the Lilo and Stitch tv series!
I will be honest, I went to Tokyo Disneyland last year, I have also been to Disneyland Anaheim a multitude of times, I personally prefer Anaheim, although the one in Tokyo had significantly less people, and the rides are literally the same (as the exceptions are the Star Wars galaxy’s edge and Avengers themed areas in Anaheim.) Tokyo Disneyland seems a lot smaller because it doesn’t have these, none the less, still an enjoyable experience, would go again :)
@@manillargo not too bad to the best of my knowledge, just as long as you aren't going as part of a Brazilian Tour Group. BTGs are typically the bane of Disney workers, but they are still nice and inviting to them. The BTGs are usually incorrigible because it's almost always a bunch of teenagers led by someone who couldn't care less. I'm sure it has less to do with them being Brazilian and more to do with them being teenagers.
I was feeling really low with the current situation we are all facing with covid right now until I watched this vlog, so thank you guys, stay safe and love to you and yours from the UK x
Wow! I can't believe that was just half your day! The breakfast spread at the hotel was amazing. I wondered how Tim liked the tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet). Usually, it's a little sweet, so probably not what he was expecting. XD I love how everyone waves at the park. And you got a VERY deep bow from the guy on the canoe dock. High honor! When you leave Japan, make sure you look out the plane window...the tarmac staff also wave you goodbye. Awesome, awesome video, kids. Jealous to the max!
Kinda jealous of the roof over Main Street! With all the rain in FL, it could be useful! Also, the temple scene seems a bit better on Jungle Cruise with the wall projections. That accessibility Gameboy is very cool! And I love Big Thunder, but all other versions have better 3rd lift hills than WDW's! C'mon Disney, bring back the falling rocks!
they could do what Disneyland Paris has and build enclosed walkways behind the mainstreet buildings. Look up Liberty Arcade DLP if you don't know what they are, they are really nicely decorated.
The ride on Mark Twain looks so welcoming and fun. Loved all the waving and friendliness. Big Thunder Mountain looks so long and awesome. I love that Tokyo mixed in some of their culture in the park, like the Oni on the wall fountain outside the Haunted Mansion.
Before moving to Seattle, I lived in Japan and my parents used to take me to Disneyland Japan everywhere on a school day. His video is amazing!!! You brought me right back to when I was younger! Thank you
A dream come true for sure, especially those Disney bathrooms. The attention to detail is awesome and Japan even managed to replicate the Florida rain season ;)
This brings back memories of when I visited Tokyo Disneyland 20 years ago. It does also confirm to me that it isn't as well detailed as the USA versions, as I didn't think it had the same feel to it. The glazed main street just doesn't have the same feel either, but because of the bad weather that Tokyo often has, the glazed roof is much needed. Disney Sea though looks really good.
I'm really loving these videos! I went to Japan Nov 2016 and went to TDL for my birthday, was so amazing as no matter what they were doing, every cast member would stop and wish me a happy birthday, even some of the guests too! Everyone is so polite in Japan but outside of TDL they were kind of reticent, but in TDL everyone gets really chatty and lively. I love all the teenage girls who dress up in matching outfits with their friends to go, takes disneybounding to the next level. The fact that the food in the parks is kind of Japanese comfort food is really cool, and all the different flavoured popcorn is amazing! Also the Jungle River host is just as funny in Japanese as they are in English! They do all the same kind of lame/great jokes. The toilets in Japan are amazing everywhere (except if you happen to find one of the Japanese-style floor toilets, but I know some people who swear by them), I especially love the fact that in a lot of public toilets you can play sounds of water running to kind of cover up your business, it's the kind of thing you think is weird when you first see it but then you miss it everywhere.
The purple churro - at first I thought it might be Ube (purple yam) which is a very common flavor in Asian countries. However, according to the interwebs, it is a special 35th Anniversary Flavor - Cotton Candy!
I'm surprised by all the english that's in the rides. This is really convincing me this should be our first trip abroad with a kiddo. Different enough that it's not scary but a good exposure to different culture. I love it!
Right! I have seen that in other videos, but I've already been to Paris (not Disneyland Paris) and Tokyo is definitely on my bucket list (especially because of Disney Sea)!
Im going to Japan with a good friend of mine, both of us saving up until we go and planning our trip out. We want to go to Tokyo Disney but pricing is tight for a couple of college kids, its amazing that you included a couple prices so we know what to expect merch and otherwise! Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking us along! This is a bucket list trip that I hope to take my family on! The joy that you can see radiating from all four of you is amazing! I also love that people wave and wave back!!!
I think you got a lot of western breakfasty treats because you were in a hilton, if you stay in a Japanese restaurant the breakfasts are a lot more authentic (and awesome in my opinion!) but it looks like you are having an awesome time :)
watching this is so nostalgic because when i used to live in japan when i was three, i used to go to tokyo disneyland and disney sea with my cousins every weekend since we live near there. they've obviously changed a lot and i need to go to tokyo disneyland again because it's been over 10 years since the last time i went!
this is the thing I was waiting for!!!! a quality Tokyo Disneyland video made by my favorite people! im excited for the next videos Jen your editing is amazing and you do a great job please know it doesn’t go unnoticed
Awesome video! I was in TDR in 2018 and loved it so much. You're right, we need Japanese toilets here in the USA. I actually got one for my home because I loved them so much :) I'd recommend doing the same. Toto has some amazing models and Tim is very handy so he could install it, no problem. All you need is a nearby electric outlet. Hope you continue to have a great time! Really enjoying watching your adventures and remembering how much fun I had while I was in Japan.
Thank you both so much for sharing your amazing vacation with us all! Most of us will never get to experience Tokyo Disneyland, and you make us feel like we're there with you both. I love how detailed you are with everything there, and explain the sights, sounds, and smells. Oh, and my favorite part is when everyone is waving, seems like they're so friendly there! You are both incredible, real down to earth people and I couldn't be more happy for you both on your amazing TH-cam success! Konnochiwa!!
Ugh I am LIVING for these vlogs! It looks like you guys are having a blast and just soaking it all up. I’d love if you did a video on planning your Tokyo Disney trip, tips and experiences
I love this video and it's been a long time goal of mine to visit TDL and I'm planning on doing so in the next two years. I've been doing research and your videos are such a refreshing take on a much superior version of the parks than most Americans are used to in the States. As a fan of the Disney Parks, I feel that visiting TDL is a must do and I too think Walt would be happy with what he would see here. WDW could definitely take some ideas and cues from TDL and put them in the Florida parks.
+TheTimTracker you have to do Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland Paris when you can with Krispysmore :) also Universal Studios Osaka and Universal Studios Singapore. Love you guys and your vlogs!
Just wanted to say that I love your videos and I repeatedly rewatch your Japan videos because they're so fun. During this uncertain and scary time, I really look forward to these videos. Thanks and keep posting.!
Wow there seems to be such a variance with the prices. Some stuff seems super reasonable then you've got a $60 tshirt. It's also really nice to see the park from your style. I've watched other peoples videos and have never gotten the sense of the park that I'm getting now.
Tokyo Disney resort was like my favorite out of all of them! They did everything so well! I was in total awe when I rode the jungle cruise like that end bit! I hope you guys got to try all the popcorn! Soy sauce and butter was probably my least fave, but I was addicted to the honey popcorn! Their Pooh ride is like a bajillion Times better than what we have here
The reason there was corn in everything: Other countries like Japan have corn on things that are known as "American style". They think Americans put corn on everything. lol.
Bloody loving every single second of these updates. So good to see you guys so happy. Can't wait for part two!! I'll be stopping whatever I'm doing when the notification comes through. Stay safe and have the best time ever.
I watched all your Tokyo Disney vids for the 4th time this year! Hahahha! You have to go back soon and probably visit Universal Studios in Osaka as well. Im sure Jackson will love it! Thank you for making these videos that fills me with happiness during this awful pandemic.
We used to live in Japan and I COMPLETELY AGREE with you guys about the toilets! My toilet in Japan used to clean and flush itself! When we moved back home it was the thing I missed the most (that and the vending machines!). So glad you guys had a good time!!!
Coolest merch ever. Wonder if any of it will end up at the character warehouse as with Shanghai ? Its amazing how the train seems to go through so many of the attractions. Love the way its all integrated !
Tim and Jenn thank you so much for bringing all of us on your journey to Tokyo Disney!!!! It's really amazing!!! I hope that my family and I will be able to go one day!!!! Hugs from CT ❤️❤️
I don’t know how it is compared to other parks, but the splash mountain here does splash you, but it does depend on where you sit. I got drenched last time I went on, but the time before, not so much
Hello!! I’m Japanese Disney fan and I always enjoying with watching your video✨ I really appreciate you enjoyed Tokyo Disney Resort. I hoped that if I was there when you were in Tokyo Disneyland, I want to say hello and recommend some favorite areas at Tokyo Disneyland!! How many days you have been in Tokyo Disney Resort!? Do you have a plan to come back in Tokyo again!? (I’m sorry because my English is not well.)
I love this. I LOVE THIS! I am having SO MUCH FUN IN JAPAN with you guys! Your excitement is beyond contagious. I wish I was there too. That place is so pretty, so sparkly, so... everything! Just like everything in Japan, just the perfect amount of over-the-topness. How awesome was that Jungle Cruise guide? Japanese announcers are the best... so passionate. He reminded me of an announcer from Ninja Warrior. NAGANOOOO!!!
Jen you had me crying "happy tears" when you were watching the parade, i have experience the same emotions when I visited the Disney Park! Sooooo enjoying your trip to Tokyo! So glad you guys are having a fantastic time and sharing it with us!Looking forward to Tomorrows Vlog! You guys are living the DREAM!
Ok...so it's their 35th anniversary..so that gives me 15 years to save for their 50th anniversary or our 15th wedding anniversary! I'm so loving this trip.
Tim and Jenn enjoy your trip to Tokyo Disney just please be safe have fun and tape as much as you can and for god sake please come back to Orlando we miss you lol
based on these videos and also trip reports on disneytouristblog i added Tokyo Disney as a stopover on route to another destination. arrived yesterday and couldn't be more excited! thanks guys for the inspiration!
After I saw your tweets I was so pumped to be seeing this video! I’m so excited to see more! Tokyo Disney is a dream park for me to go to one day! I’m so glad I get to see it through the eyes of you guys. Thanks!
From your VERY first vlog years ago until today .Tim and Jennifer tracker this was FABULOUS!!! YOU’VE COME ALONG WAY BABY!!! I like all your vlogs old and new! Thanks for showing us so much thus far... it’s great, just super great!
So different there I to noticed the roof over main Street and how big thunder seemed a little longer and how kind ppl are waving away the rides looked better in some parts I cannot wait to see the next vloG Tokyo Disneyland looks incredible
Wow that monerail looks so awesome Tim and Jenn and the breakfast must have been so good and the merch is so kawaii it is so awesome that people waved at you on the river-boat!!!!
In the beginning, did I see a Oswald pouch?? It could've been a classic Mickey but Japan really loves Oswald more than the American Disney from what I've seen.
I watched all of these as you guys were posting them, and for some reason Country Bear Jamboree is what stuck with me out of all of these videos. Had to revisit the videos and rewatch that part (and the rest of the series of course!)

Shout out all the old school tracker fans who have been waiting for this video for years!!!
These long mega-vlogs are the best. Looking forward to the Universal Studios Hollywood vlogs. Great vid. 👍🏻
It is the superior disney experience! I hope you have a wonderful trip in your future
So fun seeing the Tiki Room and Country Bear Jamboree in Japanese! Thanks for taking us on your adventures with you! 💗
That’s so so cute that everyone was waving at you guys 😌🌱 plus I loved the Mike Wazowski pass holder bag omg
They think Americans put corn on everything. lol.
really? i think we put preservatives and GMOs in everything
Hahaha yeah we think corn adds to that American ‘touch’ 😅 As someone who loves corn I’m not complaining lol
In a weird way we do use corn for almost everything lol
I mean... they’re not completely wrong lol
Japan also calls corn dogs "American dogs", which I think is hilarious.
Bloody loving every single second of these updates. So good to see you guys so happy. Can't wait for part two!! I'll be stopping whatever I'm doing when the notification comes through. Stay safe and have the best time ever.
Thank you for sharing!!!! I love love love this! Thank you for taking the time to put all of this together.
I watched all your Tokyo Disney vids for the 4th time this year! Hahahha! You have to go back soon and probably visit Universal Studios in Osaka as well. Im sure Jackson will love it! Thank you for making these videos that fills me with happiness during this awful pandemic.
I am truly so happy that you get to experience this. Enjoy it to the fullest
Hugs from CT ❤️❤️
are you doing a haul of what you brought?
I don’t know how it is compared to other parks, but the splash mountain here does splash you, but it does depend on where you sit. I got drenched last time I went on, but the time before, not so much
Hello!!
I’m Japanese Disney fan and I always enjoying with watching your video✨
I really appreciate you enjoyed Tokyo Disney Resort.
I hoped that if I was there when you were in Tokyo Disneyland, I want to say hello and recommend some favorite areas at Tokyo Disneyland!!

Your English it fantastic!!
And I'm more than happy to watch 45 minutes of people waving at you and you getting very excited! Wonderful!
Thanks to your videos on Tokyo Disneyland, learned some things and I had fun when I visited it this year.
Amazing video again. There is nothing better than watching these videos after a stressful day.
Susan Burris Congratulations on your marriage!
all the waving people is adorable! this park looks amazing!
You should get someone to say NOW ITS TIME TO PAY THE PRICE in Japanese at least once!!

"Are we suppose to smack our faces?"...😂😂😂😂 loved that japanese host...
based on these videos and also trip reports on disneytouristblog i added Tokyo Disney as a stopover on route to another destination. arrived yesterday and couldn't be more excited! thanks guys for the inspiration!
this is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited to see what else you guys get up to.
After I saw your tweets I was so pumped to be seeing this video! I’m so excited to see more! Tokyo Disney is a dream park for me to go to one day! I’m so glad I get to see it through the eyes of you guys. Thanks!
You guys should do a haul of everything you bought over in Tokyo when you get back home!
From your VERY first vlog years ago until today .Tim and Jennifer tracker this was FABULOUS!!! YOU’VE COME ALONG WAY BABY!!! I like all your vlogs old and new!
Thanks for showing us so much thus far... it’s great, just super great!
My favorite thing is a Japanese person with a Western twang. How hard it must be to find voice actors to do that?
Or they just hire an american voice actor to do it? ;)
I know this is an old video but Jenn literally looks so good with these bangs
"Is that asparagus?" "I think it is asparagus!" I love you two 😂Its called horsetail. Usually found waterside.
So different there I to noticed the roof over main Street and how big thunder seemed a little longer and how kind ppl are waving away the rides looked better in some parts I cannot wait to see the next vloG Tokyo Disneyland looks incredible
your reaction to Disney Tokyo was the same as mine and family when we went to Florida for the first time, like a kid in a candy store :)
30mins of Tim & Jen this is amazing!!! Looks like you are having such a fab trip! Love from the uk!
A great intro! Love the energy of the people there, and the Country Bear Jamboree is even more special in Japanese 😂
Wow that monerail looks so awesome Tim and Jenn and the breakfast must have been so good and the merch is so kawaii it is so awesome that people waved at you on the river-boat!!!!
Interesting to see the differences! Love the Country Beat experience. I don't understand it but it's funny!
In the beginning, did I see a Oswald pouch?? It could've been a classic Mickey but Japan really loves Oswald more than the American Disney from what I've seen.
that voice over ... voice guy at 5:00 he's EVERY WHERE! i hear him in the Adventures in Odyssey radio program.. i forget his name
Will Ryan
googles.. Will Ryan.. wow dude is 78! wow.. i thought maybe 40s or 50s.. wow..
Eugene Meltsner he plays in AIO.. not the voice guy i was thinking of...
YOU HAVE JUST ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS I SWEAR I KNEW HIM VOICE FROM AIO!
Sophie Rios you are welcome, with my Colombo like searching skills
I watched all of these as you guys were posting them, and for some reason Country Bear Jamboree is what stuck with me out of all of these videos. Had to revisit the videos and rewatch that part (and the rest of the series of course!)
