I've been starting with my 'ball control' skills. Having the restraint to let a ball dead bounce instead of flipping helps take energy out of the ball, which can lead to more controlled shots. My drop catches and live catches are still a little sloppy, but it feels so good when the ball 'sticks' to the flipper. Reactive nudges and slap saves have kept my ball alive, but the predictive nudging to keep the ball out of trouble is next level. I think I've watched Tim's video, but I'm going to go seek it out again. Thanks Ralph!
Thats actually really cool in my opinion thay you still have room to grow and learn the gameplay of Pinball. The stuff is expensive so it would kinda suck to master th gameplay and Plateau so quickly. Th fact that you still have a lot to learn makes it sound still very exciting for you. I experienced something similar with Arcade Stick and buttons. I didn't have an Arcade Stick until i got the A1ups in 2020, so this whole time since then im kinda always learning something. For example, i cant seem to spend any amount of time playing with Japanese Controls because if i do, it just completely messes up my Muscle Memory build up that I have for American Controls, its like Short Term Memory 😅 So I'm never in a position where I have mastered the controls and feel bored or setteled. The fsct that im still using American Controls even on Modern fighters, makes me feel kinda like you in the sense that you have been learning your own way doing things your own way, so when you go to talk to someone else in the scene you end up being the odd man out cuz you were just doing things on your own in your own way 😂
I think you made a good choice with gettin the GZ70. It hurts A LOT to get rid of the heavily modded one, but I tell ya what...a modded GZ70 imo looks beautiful! I am still on the fence with the tesla towers. I like the fact that there is the B&W edition of them but I think the pops of blue just help make the machine shine that much more (I haven't pulled the trigger yet cause I am hopin someone else does it first so I can compare and save me some $) 😉 In Minneapolis, Minnesota there is this absolutely amazing place called LITT Pinball Bar. They have sooo many LE's and CE's for people to play on and the games only cost 75 cents to play! One of my favorites to play there is the JJP Pirate's of the Caribbean. I love my GZ70 but that POTC is somethin special. I hope u get a chance to play one because it is an amazing machine to play. If JJP ever does do a re-release of it I can tell u right now I would 100% buy one! Anyways great stream and good luck with finding a POTC to play 😀
I'm a huge music pinhead. I was so pumped for Foo Fighters, but the machine just didn't do it for me. I owned Rush and would own again, the music and gameplay are great. LZ, love the music and Expression Lights, but man that game lacks. Iron Maiden isn't really a band pin in my opinion, its a pin with Iron Maiden as background music. I'd love to play games like Queen and Abba, just to play them but doubt I'd keep them for longer than a couple months. Where I live I have to buy a pin in order to play it. I'll mention Beatles was great too, I'd own and keep that one if I had a larger collection.

Highly recommend playing the GNR Jersey Jack. It's super good. Check the light show, and you can play sooo many songs and its worth playing.
