How inconvenient would it be to move the operation and set up a WhatNot stream at Ford Field?

Haha that’s awesome!
This is an Absolutely insane Collection. So many rare titles n watching this video they look so minty . 💰💰 These are going to sell almost instantly
I would often fall asleep on Friday nights and dream of finding garage sale scores like this the following day. I had some bangers but never anything close to this.
We love you Joe! - Matt’s Dad
5 percent and honestly all this stuff was before my time lol! I played a bit of duck hunt at a friends house and I think something else maybe TMNT, but first console was N64. Thanks for the amazing content! Thank you brother Dave and Skylar for the editing!! God bless everyone there!!!
You guys should do a ‘CATRP on Tour’ where you go to Europe or Japan for a week if there’s enough collections out there. Harder to source the garage sales!
We love you Joe(Matt’s Dad) 5%. Makes you start to wonder, in X amount of years what random weird games that were released NOW will be worth dumb money. Thank goodness they didnt make it to the landfill.
A lot of amazing and highly are games! Its incredible to see that amount in one place so I do understand why someone would get rid of them because of not having enough space, thats why I own NES & SNES multicarts that have over 500 games on each cart but even with that many games they dont have every game I want to own but a very huge majority of what I want to play even some high priced rare games, so it saves me space and money to own those multicarts.
I use to work in a landfill/recycling center and you would be surprised how many brand new blu rays, games, CD’s, money and valuables people just throw away. Stayed there for 2 years because I would legit find something everyday.
then you retired lol
@@Security848 lmao yea retired after 2 years I wish. I found a better job thankfully.
They let you keep stuff?
@@thoughtcontrol1503 yup it was landfill in other words garbage just sorting out what’s recycle able and what isn’t.
Amazing find. Glad these are going on to real fans and collectors.
Has me excited to see what the future holds for you guys. Seen some amazing collections over the past few years watching the channel, leaves me to wonder what else is out there for us to find...
Lots of good games - I was never a big Super Nes player - I was more Sega, so I missed out on a lot of these. But one game I loved that you showed was Alien 3. I played the hell out of that game at my friend's house. I loved it.
I love being awesome collection to find the trash lol have a blessed week man of God
im so happy for you guys. Love seeing the success
In hindsight I wish I picked up a copy of Earthbound around 15 years ago when it was "reasonably" priced.
I'm also type 1! I kind of want Captain Novolin now lol
it is crazy that is Collection was almost thrown way, the 2nd guy who had this most have been stupid to be thinking that way, i get it, if he had 1 or 2 tubs but not this much. he most have had a idea from were he got it from. how much it was worth but just think if this was taken to good will, 😅walking in and seeing all this on the shelf would have been crazy too.
it makes you think how many collection have been thrown out over the years. with how this story had been played out.
Watching your brilliant channel since the beginning and I really enjoyed this one. Funny thing tho… I never had a SNES or NES growing up but I am 47! 😂 👍🏻
Amazing !
I can't remember what the item is, but if Ninja warriors has the poster or something like that in there the value is way more.
I'm 35 but my dad definitely was playing nes when I was a baby
*mint* matters. I want my stuff to look like it just came out of the shop. NM is *alright* I can live with it, but I want PSA 10s :)
Chase, that was cool giving Matt the insulin game
You guys just find absolutely insane collections - and to think this was almost thrown away, or brought to a Half Priced Books, like just breathtaking. You guys are truly doing the retro/gaming community a service by saving these collections and allowing others to get their hands on some. Through you guys I've learned a lot about rarer games and all to look at, while truly enjoying every second of seeing you do so, and with your friends to boot. Through yard sales, to these collections, to collections like the one you got through Hobby Shop Ron, it has been a joy to behold. You and the CATRP crew are a blessing to this community, and a great ambassador to the gaming world. Wish you all the best and hope you and your families are all well. Have a great day, thank you for all you do. "We Love you Joe!" and also 5%.
if im not wrong the two diabetes and other health game where sold or given to hospitals to help kids understand everything

5% cause holy crap that was amazing 🤯
Hey, can someone name the device CATRP crew uses to test controllers? They talked about it in a video but I can’t find the video. It’s a seperate unit used to test inputs on all gaming controllers. Please and thank you 🙏🏻
Wildcat Code please Chase pretty please with a cherry on top lol please
We love you Joe! (Matt's Dad)
In a way it kinda sucks you guys got it no offense but it would be cool to keep the collection together cause you guys are just gunna piece it out all over the place.
At least they brought the whole collection and are going to do something with it rather than letting it just be thrown away
@@teddytellez5325 The neighbor wasn’t going to throw it away. It is a bummer ..they’re separating everything for what not. They’re probably gonna toss the Polaroids and letters in a box and call it a day.
@@T12-e5x well we don't know what there going to do with the other stuff you can't just assume there going to put in a box and do nothing with it
First time watching a reselling channel?
@@tonymarcella2077 no I've been watching for awhile actually I was just saying that they could do something with the other stuff they got that's it
they bought it off the og for 5 to 10k and sold it to chase for around 90k lol
Hey how much for the “The Guardian Legend” complete ox and game

dude holy crap (sky guy peter griffin)
Im sorry but thats way more then 150,000 right there.. and they were going to throw it away or take it to a book store? WHAT?!?!?
one search of one of those games on ebay and they would have known not to do that.
Most people wont bother to do this, i've seen more expensive collections then this get tossed out or donated.
o_O
45:34 you were 20 in 1994?
With all those documents, please consider scanning them and at least sending the scans to the video game history foundation. Those are Nintendo letterhead letters, and something could be very historical in there. Chances are it’s not but still at least scan it and let them have the scans.

I just went to my grandpas Saturday march 30th…we were talking about retro games and how I enjoy collecting them…he went under his stair case and pulled out the Super Nintendo I used to come over and play when I was just 5 years old. The console that cause my passion for gaming:.:the console that made me enjoy collecting retro games. He gave me that SNES the first console I ever played in my entire life and now it’s apart of my collection forever and I couldn’t be happier. 20 years later her pulled it out from under the stairs covered in cat hair and dust and filth and it turned right on…I wish I could post pictures and show the absolute grime but you get the point of the story. I never thought I’d see this snes again in my life and now it’s a part of my retro game collection ❤
That is one cool grandpa! Mad props to him for keeping it all these years. Most would've just sold it for a buck at a garage sale.
I absolutely love the snes. Still have my NES from ‘88 but the snes was stolen when my house got broken into years ago. Your grandpa is a hero in that department
@@silverstatic glad he kept it, he is pretty cool. He has his Atari somewhere he’s been trying to find it cause he wants to play pong haha
@@skeezix8156 theft is so bummy, sorry you had to deal with that bs
32:50 I’m also type one diabetic, been living with it for about 14 years and it was really awesome to see this game. I thought I had noticed a Dexcom on someone’s arm in a previous video and was wondering if anyone in your crew was diabetic so this was really cool to see get represented. Love these videos
I like how you guys quagmired the neighbor🤣
5%. Loved my SNES. It totally kills me when I see these values. I kept all my games in their boxes. I even kept the little plastic protectors they came with. I mostly had RPGS. Had big box Earthbound, FF2, FF3, MQ, Sec of Mana, Sec of Evermore, Zelda, Chrono, etc, etc. I put it all in my sister's storage when I left for college. She got divorced & the storage fees didn't get paid. Some lucky storage wars type person probably got them all. This was 20 years ago so who knows if they even kept it. I actually hope it all made it to collectors somehow. It was all minty when I packed it into a tub.
I feel you, my sister sold a lot of my 80s toys at a car boot sale while I was at uni.
Sucks to be you
I would love to even own '5%' of that epic collection!
We love you Joe(Matt’s Dad) ✊🏾🖤
Huh? Do you know him personally?
@@LeadMe2TheBliss Apparently you didn't watch the video when Chase said to put that to show the love.
And we love Festers Quest
RETRO RICK, I love you, but take notes on how to handle video games from these guys, please. Even if their 5$ they still deserve the respect
If Joe (Matt's dad) likes castlevania 2 then it can't be bad. Thanks the recommendation Joe(Matt's dad)!
I always find it interesting how many tubers here talk proudly about an expensive game in their collection and others talk about a 1k game they got for free or found for two dollars at a thrift shop. While those who don’t have the games gripe about how stupid a game is to be so expensive….until finally one day they magically have it and are so happy that they need to tell the world how lucky they are to have stumbled on to a gold mine.
We had Bronky the Braciasaurus. It was about asthma. You DIED if you didn't get to your next inhaler. Kind of terrifying for a kid with asthma.
That is a wild Funco land shirt. Super Dope. Never seen that one before
Question chase.
I’m a starwars, toy figure, console, and movie collector. I’m thinking about starting to try and do a game boy SP collection. But…… I can’t get a solid answer on exactly how many variations of the SP there are. Can u or anyone in the comments help me with the number and what they are? I’m a completist and want to get started on the before SPs go up even more.
Thanks guys love y’all’s channels!
Consolevariations .com has all the info you need

What an amazing collection and story, thank you for sharing! It was great to meet you guys at MGC.
Imagine all this stuff being worthless, TOMORROW. Collectors, how would you act? All games would have zero value and never increase.
5%, Crazy collection bro congrats
🔥🔥🔥 Great Video. Would love to see a video one day one what happened to the game barn people, werent they going to open an arcade or some new business?
This just proves all the people overpricing their collection you might die one day and your family will sell your games for a dollar each
5% baby! Great video
Wow!
Damn you don’t look a day over 30 man that’s crazy that your in the 40s. Chase is too blessed🙌🏼
Chase is in his late 20s
Man, I'm going to be at MGC too! Just found your channel today and can't wait to check out my first convention! See you all there!
I had a sealed dr Frankenstein years ago
I have no doubt that Chase two years ago seeing Chase right now by this collection will be floored enamored and quite frankly flabbergasted. The fact that you’ve come this far, Chase is awesome and a testament to the hard work you put in man really good work here and enjoyed every second of watching all these sweet games get unboxed.
We love you Joe(Matt’s Dad) 💯
5% club! Love when you put out 1 hour+ vids.. More of this please and keep up the great work.
