I played and lost a $5k pot Monday night. 5-way all in preflop PLO. I had 25% equity preflop with my J high rundown but AAK6 made Aces full. it was only the second orbit which made the night play pretty deep as 4 of us were buying in again. I ended up $4k when all was said and done so it was just a flesh wound!

The biggest pot I’ve ever won was $8k in a 2/5 game at Texas card house.
I played a $10k pot at Wynn 5/10. 3 way all in and I had AA. One player was all in pre flop and me and the other player still had about $2k left going to the flop. Preflop was a 4bet pot. Flop came J43 and the other player ripped his $2k in. I called being a little worried about a set of Jacks. The 3 of us agreed to run it twice and the last river was a king, giving the short stack player a set of kings. The other player mucked so I won about $7k of the $10k pot.

I would say A high flushes are the 3rd nuts though 53hh and 85hh tie for the true nuts (since as mentioned if you have 53hh they can't have 85hh). Not nearly as important to think about as when you have a K high flush and they could have an A high flush (where AXs is probably about half the reasonable remaining flush combos) but you are still care 1 straight flush combo or 2 in really extreme cases.

Turn action analysis feels weird to me, Alan's play is usually bad from my experience in the spot, but it ONLY works because of Texas Mike's inoptimal strategy. He should NOT be in this hand at all.

Against loose-passive fish there is of course a clear argument to be made for checking. - Against reasonable players and maniacs alike, however, we have pretty much a range check on this runout.
