- In this video I show you the basics of the Ghost White toner cartridge system with the 8.5 x 11 inch HP M452DW an the larger 11 x 17 HP CP5225.
I show how VinylMaster DSR is the best software for use with the Ghost White toner cartridge system. I show an example of how I use the Contour Cut feature to quickly create my white under filling layer and use the Punch out feature to quickly create the distressed effect! I also cover each of the papers guaranteed to work with your HP printers and Ghost toner cartridges as well as maintenance tips to keep your printer from jamming up.
This is a very in depth introduction with lots of information you don't want to miss! This version has extra footage of hard surface transfers using the Ghost white toner and Paropy hard surface to apply a design to a white and black coffee mug.

i was considering the little Ghost bundle (Canon LBP-623cdw) but after seeing your video, it looks like i have to invest in a one step printer, cause ich want to have fine details with white toner behind, without making an outline :( .. my dreams are smashed to reality now XD ..

I have the HP 254dw laser printer and ghost white toner. It’s been great! Today I needed to replace my color ink cartridges, so I replaced the HP color cartridges with GPC Image Toner Cartridge 202x. It worked great for printing, but when I swap the black out for my ghost white, I get a “supply error” That says “There is a communication error with one of the toner cartridges. “
It’s my ghost white cartridge.
Any advice or ideas or recommendation for a work-around ?
I would like to do it with forever laser dark but my HP m452 dw seems not to like it. It jammed a couple of times. i have to try the Paropy

Is it tough to line up the x and y on the desktop printers for the distressed style prints on dark substrates? Like say if you wanted to half tone a face? Is that literally impossible to line up the white layer under the cmy?

Hi Josh I had two questions, if I want to print custom trading cards or business cards on laser-jet compatible holographic paper, one will the ink stick and two can I swap out the white toner and use a black toner with the same printer or will that cause an issue?

Hi! Just recently borrowed a Ghost printer to see if this exercise is worth while before buying our own. Started printing, and my whites are coming out Light baby blue on the a foil paper. When I do the heat transfer, by reds turn pink.. What Am I doing wrong?

Ewww, that means I have to use Corel Draw. I have X8 on another computer I could use, but I know that's not the current version. I will add that to my list and see if I can put it up this weekend!
So what if the design has black in it? Do you make a separate layer? Change the toner back?

I want to know if in the process of replacing the black toner for white and vice versa, the printer´s counter chip reduces its life as I used to have Xerox laser printers and every time I removed the toners the chips went down to 10 per cent of its life. No problem on that with these HP printers? Some amount of toner is lost during the process of replacement? -Thanks.
With the HP printers I've worked with I have never ran into this issue.
Aye Josh. I want to buy a HP CP5225dn printer from amazon but tell me, can I use the hp cartridges that come with the printer to print on t-shirts together with the Ghost White toner which i am purchasing separately?
The ghost toner website says that this is indeed possible but the ghost toner is more optimized for transfer.
I am thinking in getting the HP M454DW
But I have no idea what type of transfer get for dark shirts and light. I have seen that some transfers don’t work well with HP or Brother. Could some one be kind and guide me in this matter? Thank you guys ☺️

I've printed from the reports menu and the white prints fine
From Paint.net it will not print white and I've done every adjustment I can find!
The White toner is coming out a blue/grey color.
The first thing you want to do is leave the white toner cartridge in the printer and then print a
test page from the menu’s located on the printer. I personally use the network settings report,
but you will see that your white toner is working just fine once the report comes out. All the
text will be in white.
The reason that it is printing with the Blue/Grey color is because your design software is
adding Cyan to the image to give it a “richer” black. You will need to adjust these settings in
your design software if you want to print from it.
Do you know where in paint . Net I can adjust that setting ? So it doesn’t come out blue/grey I’m having this issue rn
I'm using an HP printer with Ghost white toner. The first print works well but when I print a second time the forever paper wrinkles and there is ghosting (double printing) and it's messed up. HELP
I dont have access to print on the color laser transfer on my hp 454dw what printing options should I use. Please help. That's the reason I dought an hp so I can print using Ghost and forever sheets.
Ghost is still prototyping the M454 cartridge. It will most likely be March or April 2020 before we have a test unit.

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THE GHOST WHITE TONER OFFSET. THE WHITE TONER DOESNT MATCH UP WITH THE COLOR PRINT
Why did you print those trucks at 1:55 like that? White tires and undercarriage? You printed them as a negative. Take a screenshot of that and invert it and suddenly the trucks look right.

Yes, the basic Vinyl Master Cut edition will work just fine.

I'm a newbie, I need to print neck labels in hundreds of thousands of quantities. Right now I'm outsourcing it. They make it through silkscreens. I have no technical background so I can't do it on my own. I need a simple cost effective way to make neck labels.
I have these transfer papers with one side lines on them & other is empty. Can these printers print on those transfer papers & then I simply use heat transfer machine to get it printed on T-shits?

Found it hard to follow in the programs as you bounced around and clicked this and that and not focused in on what exactly doing.. And let down that you skipped over send each through the printer...
So far I am NOT impressed with this White Toner nonsense. I've wasted multiple sheets of the Forever Laser Light no cut papers thru my HP Laserjet Pro m452dw following the instructions to press for 15 seconds at 356-392 and rub for 5 to 10 seconds. The transfer NEVER adheres to the T-Shirt using 100 % cotton shirts. kinda pissed off I spent over a $1000 for this setup now.
@Robin Seidel nope never did get a good transfer. I gave up. Should have went sublimation route instead of laser.
