How to pick Six Sigma and other Improvement projects

There's so much potential to improve an any business, so how do you pick the best next projects for your organisation?
First off, know that improvement is about moving the proven standard, not just getting back to previous performance (that's root cause problem solving). So we're going to look deeply into our processes and finding ways to make things easier, more efficient and/or more stable than before.
Then we'll look at how much that improvement is worth to you - a point of OEE doesn't have the same value on every machine, let alone comparing OEE to material waste or delaying a big investment... There are standardised ways to calculate the value of improvement and problem solving projects (check out my course on it at www.tommentink.com/offers/Hdt...) and it's an important factor in picking your next projects.
Finally, we look at other factors that are important to your organisation at the moment. These may consist of factors like Value, Cost, Visibility, Success chance, etc.The relative value of these factor will change over time and maturity of your improvement program - with visibility of results being very important at the start of your CI journey.
