Wow. What a day!! The most greenery our eyes could ever hope to see, if you've ever witnessed this for yourself I think you'll agree that few sights match Thailand's freshly planted rice fields during September's rainy season. I am loving the chance to get out and explore a new district today!
We're north of Nakon Nayok town (about 90 minutes' drive from Bangkok), and it is going to be a great day! This is a Spice Roads WEEKENDER tour, let me tell you what it entails...
A dozen friends and I have signed up for a tour, its called the "Nakon Nayok Weekender" by Spice Roads, and I simply cannot believe how we could be so close to the big city of Bangkok but feel so far off in the pleasant Thai countryside. Thank you so much for hanging out with us through this video, not only a story about riding but also how just our hobbies and the smaller things we enjoy can always be such an easy source of positive connection, an easy way to make friends.
I am looking forward to more adventures in other parts of Thailand (and maybe even other countries), you could help me out by leaving a comment for me as to whether you would want to join me for one of these tours (and where you think we should go together!).

Haha Darlene good eyes, I probably road for three or four hours with one hand, yes, my neck was very sore, but very fun to be able to do this, I have to appreciate how amazing the technology is as well. 40 years ago, it would’ve taken an entire crew to make this one video but nowadays, even just one person with only a little bit of skills to manage :-) thanks for hanging out, I hope you’re having a wonderful day today.

Joel, Great camera work and drone cinematic views. Thailand is beautiful. You had to ride ahead to film the bicyclists going up hill, then you filmed everyone passing by. Wow that takes a lot of strength. It seems everyone in the tour speaks English.

Time to revisit Thailand 🇹🇭. Now that’s a 15% gradient steep for some and not so for others . Whoa 100 K trip 👌👌👌 Pitstop for some healthy refreshments . Thailand has so much to offer in terms of culture ( all aspects) and happiness . What a balance mate ; Cycling with one hand and holding your camera on the other so that we could have a memorable viewing experience. Indeed a huge shout out to “Spice Roads” for enabling like minded folks / cyclists to enjoy their ride by providing guides , hotel accommodation etc. Heartiest congrats to complete the 100 K ride . Now for some reward - indulging in some scrumptious meal . So basically you have Deep fried Fish , Chicken , Beef and mixed veggies with Rice and some spicy chilli’s 👌 What a classy and mesmerising Vlog . Thoroughly enjoyed every single frame of the Vlog . We just got back from a 10 day hunting trip up at our other property got nothing 🥺 came back to celebrate our middle sons 18th birthday today(the 21st) and our daughter goes for her road test tomorrow (the 22nd) then we are heading back to do more hunting.
@@rkcpmr5991 we are doing good and are well just been busy hunting and today(21st) is our middle sons 18th birthday! Tomorrow(22nd) our daughter goes for road test to get her “N” driver licence. Heading back to our property to do more hunting on the 26th for a couple more weeks.

Just out of curiosity, what does a trip like that cost, and what's the average age of people in your group?
Hi MyRetirementLife! Thanks for asking for specifics - the 3,900 baht trip cost covers the 1 night hotel, the afternoon ride, snacks and drinks on arrival, big dinner, then a very big breakfast and then a late lunch after the ride. Bike rentals are available for an additional fee, and the bikes are quite good as you saw mine in the video (Full carbon series Trek Emonda), and finally I would say the average age of our entire group was late 40s.

Good Morning Li & Joel & the entire BruCrew. Here in the Daytona Beach area of Florida we have a hard-packed, sand beach where cars can be driven (as well as bikes). In many areas, cars have been blocked to protect turtle nests. Before the Daytona International Speedway (race track) was built, early races were run on this beach. Please come visit some day & bring your bike (or I'll get one for you). Have a Blessed week!

Hi Joel, I rode with Spice Roads before on several of their weekenders. Totally agree with you. The tours are very well organized and great people to ride with. Their guides are so good at setting the pace for different levels of riders and taking care of everybody. Understand you are Chiang Mai-based. Heard about a lot of the nice routes there but never had a chance to ride there. Would love to roll with you up north sometime... Cheers.

i really like the intro with the 360 camera. what are the chances you ever just attach it so its following you for rides?
McMoves, right on! Very cool comment! Ok so answering honestly, the chances of attaching it are very low. I did get a new drone though! SO I am practicing with that already, its very very hard to use in the mountains though, pretty much have to use it in the fields or at the beach. Ok! For the purpose of this channel in general though, having a video that moves even more slowly than the clips from the 360 did in this one, I mean I would be interested myself but I think only 0.01% of this audience would be interested to watch...
