I’ve seen this truck in person and looked very close at it. It is incredible work. Great job on the fabrication. I couldn’t find a single thing that wasn’t perfect.
This didnt add any uptravel to the stock frame lol. What is the point of back halfing a truck and not adding uptravel?? Its basically useless to build a custom tube rear half and not cut the frame?
Wrong. This set up is NEGATIVE arching the leafs 1.5” you can’t go any more then that. Plus the customer already had these leafs and was on a budget. We actually built the back half with the intention of swapping to a sua.
Helps me out so much!

Dude you explain all this stuff so well! In the market for a new rig and love seeing all these ideas, appreciate it.
I don't understand why you would retain the leaf springs with all that work. ?
Most people need to build trucks in stages. Setup properly leaf springs still work pretty well
could you do some more explanation videos on rear shock setups? angles, lengths, tube thickness etc. Just a curious Aussie wanting to learn more
How much do I got to save up for something like this to get done?
8" until the bump strikes or until fully compressed? just wondering on your formula so I can mount my own properly. thanks.
until fully compressed. Make sure your shocks has 1/2" of shaft showing when you set bump
👍🤘Thanks !
@@454motorsports6how do you get the the shock to full bump with the leaf springs?
Where did you get the lower shock mount?
