I just started using the johnny fpv azure props too. They are really really good! You mentioned GoPro shakes too, and so I was wondering if you could take a look at one of my videos. I seem to get really bad GoPro shake even after stabilizing with reelsteady go. Im not sure if its the gopro or the quad, but its really annoying and trying to shoot cinematic doesnt work too well when your footage isnt stable. Let me know! Thanks again for the video!
Check if your GoPro is fixed in the mount or if the mount is not good enough and you need to change it... or maybe the mount is hitting the battery during the flight.. or maybe you just need to tune your quad? Or try changing the props.. I watched your latest video and yes, there is a problem with those shakes in between..
@@tomstrojnik Thanks for checking it out Tom. I have so far only found one gopro mount for the frame i use. I use the cidora SL5 frame. Ill try to move the battery a little farther back from the mount. I never thought of that. Also, I'm just on the betaflight 4.2 default tune. I havent touched anything in regards to tuning because I have no idea what im doing with that. Tried both ethix s3 props and the johnny props and it happens on both
@@tomstrojnik Hi Tom, should the GoPro mount not touch the battery? I usually have the battery mounted up against the GoPro thinking it will help it not move around?
I have boxes of other props... But once I tried the Ethix series they are all that I fly now. I really noticed their quality when super slow flying tight gaps and extreme proximity. Other props felt slippy-slidey. Ethix feel as if locked into a physical servo rail. My theory as to why this is is that the Ethix blades produce significantly less turbulence (hence the lower noise?), so therefore the FC has less of that to deal with and performs better. This is all theory. It would be interesting to look at the Black box data to see if I'm on to something, or just full of crap, lol.
hey brotha! quick question, but do those props come into your gopro shot as well? if so, does reel steady go fix that because it crops a 4:3 footage to 16:9?

Tom Strojnik they look similar to the azure power light control prop and Johnny fpv prop but they’re 5.1 x 4.35 and quick response with power.

Make sure you have at least 25 degrees camera angle and you won't get props in shot
Hi I also fly the Nazgul how do you manage to have your props out of sight of your GoPro? I always have them in the picture....
Higher camera angle, set it to at least 25 degrees :)
