  • In this video from our Always Smiling eCourse, Lama Tsomo introduces us to the practice of Lung Ro Sel. This preliminary practice is a way of upping our chances of resting in still, clear, joyful awareness. Lung Ro Sel is translated as "Clearing the Stale Winds" (energies) and is an ancient Tibetan Buddhist practice that is helpful for working with the subtle energies connected to the afflictive emotions, or Three Poisons which include:
    1. Attachment
    2. Ignorance
    3. Aversion

this 3 channels are joining at the bottom approximately 4 cm below the naval. so when you inhale through left and right nostril at the same time- air goes down and through the bottom connection gets into the middle channel which from it comes out (Bon tradition)

@@Unkown0002 I read this in the book of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche "The Tibetan yogas of dream and sleep". This breath is part of the "guru-yoga",the way you can try to connect to your "teacher " in meditation

@@Unkown0002 i have been studying different things for 30 years. At the moment i am interested in guru-yoga. i am just at the beginning of the journey. i did't study dream practice because since childhood i had sponteneous astral projetions in sleep, dreams come true and so on. i always felt 'someone' leding me. so now i came to the point when i need direct contact🙂

When inhaling, is it done in a specific way? Or, is it freely inhaled?
