I believe the Panasonic 1161 was used in at least the 1991 model for the US market, I have a sales brochure from that year that shows the 1161 faceplate and an e-mail from Jeff stating that the 1161 is correct for the 1991 US model. FWIW, Jeff also mentioned that the 1161s tend to be the best manufactured units. Thanks for continuing to post!
