    I’m glad I’m not the only one that used a 486 based system for creating instructions. Getting the word doc off of said 486 was a small challenge.

    could you try a different Bt Module that doesn't have a problem with connecting if your phone is not paired?

      If one existed, I’d buy it - the module I’m using has some very specific features I need to make this mod possible, one of them being a relay that switches the audio from another source to itself. The “bug” you refer to is inherent within the actual bluetooth software it runs on, which is similar or identical to the software used on modules from other sources.

      @@bbishoppcm oh ok I think 12voltvids put one in a hd radio tuner that switches the input from bluetooth to radio. Not sure if it's the same one you used or not but maybe you can check out his video of it.

      I think they make some that also can play music from an sd card. That would be cool if you could somehow make the cd controls change the track & pause and play the sd card.

      @@stereomann83 honestly, I’m not really making any money on these mods as it is, and changing modules to a more complex one will never pay off. After my next few radios (lined up), I’m likely to quit doing them entirely.
