Imagine having 2 workers instead of 1, that's what the benefit is. Many ppl use up to ~14 GPU's for Content Creation purposes or computing purposes such as AI or whatever. Another huge benefit is that many rendering applications will lag the fuck out of your OS while rendering or computing something to the point even typing is difficult and watching youtube or something is bad experience, so second GPU can do the desktop display job or even gaming e.g. you're rendering 3D animation on 1 GPU and gaming with other without any performance issues. For budget users having 1 decent GPU and 1 trash GPU for display can be super beneficial too. So in real world scenario for example the person can do a video edit with CG VFX, leave one GPU for rendering something needed for the video and keep working on the edit using another GPU. But ofc in reality often ppl when they render somethig they just utilize all the GPU power they got so it finishes sooner.
I used to mine ethereum like that but with two 3070 instead. it is not safe because they sag which can lead to cold joints under the bga chips or pci-e crack and the airflow is terrible which will lead to high temps.
I wouldn’t say it’s that safe because of the top 4090 getting less air than the bottom 4090.
I mean if your water blocking the cards it would fine

Indeed lol. Thanks for watching!
idk.... use a riser maybe?
Good suggestion, I will definitely have a look!
What is the benefit of two GPUs
Mainly editing / rendering purposes not rly for games or anything
Double power
Many 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Redshift, and OctaneRender supports multiple GPUs, providing a much faster rendering speed.
@@hardwarerepair200 Also you can stack VRAM afaik using NVLink but only works with 2 GPU's not more.

I mean you cant get any actual use out of sli on 4000 series anyways.
if you upscale and/Frame gen, you could use gpu2 for non-game related rendering

U should to make water bock watercooling
Goodbye airflow
The upper one will heat too much.
Indeed, I can see that the top one is at least 3C hotter than the lower one.
Dudes getting ready for 64k gaming
I know you're kidding, but 16k is the maximum resolution supported by directx for now
just give me one!
I wish I could. Sadly I need both for faster rendering.
Boi is just flexing
Can I have one of those 4090?😂
I wish I could. What GPU are you using now?
A gtx 1050ti paired with a core i5 8600k… it’s not the greatest pc but it is my first one
No
