- Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of Laurel Canyon Blvd and Hollywood Boulevard for a reported brush fire. First arriving companies found approximately an acre of moderate to heavy fuels burning uphill with no wind. Structures were threatened but due to proper brush clearance, they weren't affected. Water dropping helicopters, wagon batteries, and progressive hose lays helped to extinguish the fire, which had grown to five acres. Power was also knocked out in the area as a result of the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause is unknown. Beverly Hills Fire Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department assisted as mutual aid.

Great catch! Great video of all agencies coming together!!
Hollywood hills is a nightmare with regular traffic, with a fire relaxed it'll be awhile. Thanks guys great shot
Great video. Show how very hard the responders have to work and what they deal with in these types of fires. Thanks...🤗🤗
excellent footage man!! nice to see the truck put to work on a brush, hopefully answers that question for everyone haha.
Best vegetation footage on TH-cam. Not kidding. Nice helicopter shots. Specially, when they come in sideways. Bitchin.
Great catches! Love the water drop convoys.
That deck gun is bad ass.
This is a fantastic video showing everything involved with a brush fire on nightmare steep terrain. Ingenious use of the ladder truck for easier access! Great use of deck guns! Seeing the water drops is fantastic! Can anyone tell me the hose size on the red lines?
Again a GREAT superior video!!!!!!!
Our hose lay main line for arduous/remote work is 38mm, I think that's about 1.5", working lines 25mm (1") That's in Australia.
Awesome video!!
Damn! Talk about a hill to climb
great video. question on water drops: why are there so few shots of the water hitting the fire and so many shots of the water being dropped? just curious.
They should get rain in Hollywood to stop these fires from happening
Will never understand why they went with Rosenbauer for the EV concept instead of Pierce like the rest of their fleet already is lol
Probably because it looks futuristic! Why go with something that looks like everything else.
