    Your videos are amazing. To keep myself occupied during this pandemic I decided to get an early start on my upcoming A level study in law. I’ve never studied law before but your video explained everything exceptionally and i now have a clear and basic understanding of tort law. Thank you so much!

    Law Bank: I find your videos informative, clear and helpful. Would these case authorities generally be applicable to Australia (I know some are)?

    The Law Bank describes how tort crosses into civil law as opposed to criminal.

    What happens when you have civil and criminal issues in one case?

    • @TheLawBank
      @TheLawBank  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You cannot have a case with civil and criminal issue in the same court. However, you could have two parallel cases one in a civil court and one in a criminal court. Since the standard of proof is higher in a criminal court it is possible for a case to succeed in a civil court and fail in the criminal court on the same facts.
