Some added details as we ll as personal wishes. 1. PGR's coatings (or skins) are actually tied to various series, like a collection set of a fashion brand. They all have a unifying theme together which makes it really easy to know which skin is part of which collection. 2. While collabs are a nice thing, PGR collabing with NiER is an early game blunder, as they were unable to tie anything from Automata to PGR itself, only the characters and their skins. BRS collab did this much better as not only is she part of the lore of PGR, but they also interact with us too. 3. Dorms are pretty much the only way to get the 'free' skins in the basic store. Though some normal skins will be unavailable there but this is rare. As for personal wants, signature weapons and Babel Tower. PGR is known for some really good sound designs and the way the signature weapons move as you upgrade it more is pure orgasm. As for Babel Tower, it's basically a game mode where you can choose how much debuffs you want with special stage mechanics to see how much of a high score you can get.
@@indigogorge3585 Not really. They're vastly different. DoIR is a roguelike, while Babel Tower is your equipment dependant. In BT, there are 3 special stages (5 at most, never less than 3) and each stage has their own gimmicks and lose conditions along with 3 'teams' to use in it (not unlike ToA). Also, they've been bringing back legacy BTs as a side mission for the current ongoing ones for a while now.
I really want a Sonic the Hedgehog collab -- it'd be cool if they added the animals or Dr. Robotnik. I'd also like a real celebrity like Ninja to have a character in the game. Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry or the Simpsons would also be great

in my opinion some stuff what WuWa need are: - randomize event in overworld. rectoract rains randomly appear while we running around which give strong debuff to players and buff to TDs, maybe as strong as red mist TD scaling with our world lvl. I'm not sure the prize but maybe mats to craft specific weapons - every week, randomly 5 purple tier chests/cross thingy(total 100 asterites I think?) reappear. this much better for the game than KURO just giving it in silverplate like usual - more sub quests that tied to certain places in map. for example nostalgia isle quest, about a girl and student from mentor that die in TD invasion are good. but it such wasteful that place only about that 2 NPCs. KURO could add few another quests about victims of same TD invasion in different perspectives that giving bigger picture of said place and event, thus making it more memorable to players.
And just reminder etc, PGR early game is a boring (for most) cause its a non-voiced story basically LN in a nutshell (only some cut-scenes are voiced), adding the early char. don't expect same level of animation as the current ones, but you should have a free S selector given in certain level? (specific not all S rank should the Gen 1+ only), and remember its a HUB base game and for end game its basically boss challenge most of the time to farm for game currency (typical gacha). So what's enjoyment in PGR, pretty much combat focused through and through + good ost,sfx with combat and the char themselves with their good animation, so if you're into that + added bonus of how generous the game is more than WuWa try it and yes theirs a skip button for story if you don't like reading but highly suggest reading the early parts especially if its about Lucia since she's pretty much the poster girl of PGR and generally the heroine of the story + with commandant and yes US the commandant is a big part of the story.

Second Selector will given clearing some normal mission, the choice is Rosetta for META as she's still a viable Tanker for META Physical Team until next year, but the popular one is Lucia Crimson Abyss just for flashy gameplay (already got replaced by Bianca Stigmata as physical attacker) Third one when reaching Level 40 and clear 15 mission, Liv Empyrea for future proof META fire team.

Bianca Stigmata for Physical Team not as flashy as Lucia, but if you're a fan of Saber Alter in Fate series technically she's the PGR ver. of her plus same JP VA. Lee Hyperreal for Fire team nothing to say to other than flashy handsome guy lel (he is going to be replaced next year May? but still viable really). And the August patch is going to be Lamia for Dark Team. After getting 4 attacker, prioritize getting the Amplifiers (basically support sub dps) Liv Empyrea for Fire, Alisa for Physical, Selena Capriccio for Dark, No.21 Feral for Lightning. Then Tankers pretty much. But honestly just pull for the char. you want to play first then focus on META.
I dont see why they wouldnt do skin its more profit and more room for creativity for there characters and more chances to make me go bankrupt for yinlin!!! Summer yinlin!!!!
I would really be interest to see Tower of Babel-like game mode on WuWa. ToA is gonna or is getting really old way fast since it's too straight forward, in Babel you can straight up customized how strong the enemies you want to be and I feel like it can keep the game mode much more refreshing than just a 30% Elemental Buff. The current Illusive Realm even have those buff customizations already so I really hope Babel-like mode would be introduced in the future.
I agree to what you said here. As a PGR player. 1. Skins/Outfits. This is a great feature for WuWa because they might gain more money from it and players will have that sense of freedom in the game in a way. Because they can change the skins of their favorite character, Making it more immersive and enjoyable. (I might spend a lot on skins more than the gacha if they implemented this. Really like the Jihnsi with school outfit hehe). 2. Collabs This is great too but to make it more immersive and not awkward, they should introduce a collab with a strong foundation in a story. This story does not need to come from the main story. Event story is enough. In that way, collab is possible and game immersion is still there. (I need Nier Automata collab in WuWa. I failed to experience the PGR X Nier back then because I became very busy. ) 3. Housing YES! Definitely this is what I'm waiting for. I just like designing houses and interiors. I hope it is immersive and different but engaging at the same time.
The fact that PGR had a collab from the get go was amazing, with Wuwa now they have leverage, numbers and prestige to approach more companies and make a sweet deal for both, I believe is just a matter of time (actually no, make it happen fast! LOL I want a guilty gear character Lmao or give us Tifa)
Kuro is working with Pixiv in Japan to launch a skin design contest, PGR has also held similar activities before. And there is an NPC near the souvenir shop saying that Huanglong's star costume designer Linglong is about to open a branch in Jinzhou. So yes, the skin system is definitely on the agenda.
Skins Co-op ( Survival mode or something like bloody palace from DMC and raid mode ) Collabs ( DMC , Bayonetta , Fate series ( not the one with HSR but the Fate series with hack and slashing game ) , Nier and other possible game
A new mode or feature I would love for them to introduce is the return of Norman war and Babel Tower. But maybe not anytime soon since those modes require heavy investment for multiple elemental teams. So maybe in, I don't know, half a year maybe they can announce their return in wuwa.
Regarding the collabs, if they are implemented with care, it could work storywise given how there's time bending, we could have dimension bending as well. I would like though, they are properties with a similar theme to the game, so that wouldn't break the feel. Like I can see Nier and DMC no problem, but it would really fck it up for me to have Luffy there. Or maybe leave that type of collab for skins, I could see a Jiyan with Zoro skin for example looking really good.
I think collab should wait. We need to flesh out the world and lore and more native charaters. Also yes it do breaks immersion but that will no such a problem if collabs dont participate in the story. and are introduced later
as you said, OFTEN SKIN RELEASE AND SEASONAL EVENT IS A MUST FOR GACHA GAMES.... PGR have a tons of it and pretty shame Hoyo games didn't have that beside HI3 and GI 1.5ver (after that they gone, summer event on sumeru didn't count and it's absurd to have halloween skin)..... but for summer event/skin i kinda doubt Wuwa will have that since most of gacha games already start it (GBF, FGO, AG, NIKKE, etc) and there's still no live streaming to announce summer event 😢
I think Kuro would be crazy if they didn’t try to sell skins tbh especially if they make some of them farmable for a modest set amount of astrites and some you have to gacha. However I don’t play PGR so idk how the marketing on skins on Gacha🤣. I’ll buy em all tho
I truly believe Punishing Gray Raven is the best Mobile Gacha Game that has ever existed. Yes even better than HSR & WuWa. Those games were created to work best in PC and Consoles but PGR is designed to work best in mobile and it really shows in its combat specifically the ping system.
you forgot to mention the PGR leap system. where older characters will have a new skill and damage upgrade. so older unit would still be viable in newer patches.. they might not gonna be as strong as the latest character at the very least the power creep is will not gonna be big.. that is pretty much the best system PGR have implemented because of that you can enjoy older characters and not gonna be out of the meta
Colab skins that can work Code geass, Daemon X Machina (machine suit, Killa la Kill, any gundam, Xenoblade series, Tower of god, Gurren Laggan, Made in abyss (for kid characters only), Slime anime (lots of choices here), Overlord (albedo duh), One punch man (lots of females, also a male skin of a pri pri prisoner), Dorethedoro (for males), Dr stone (since its pretty much end world) and i can probaly think of many more. Colab skins that cant work: Sao, Konu suba, Fairy tail, One piece, pretty much anything owned by a big company. A lot of them already have their own gatchas with same characters. Never gona happen: Genshin
Something to note: The dorm system currency lets you buy limited characters and skins...permanently. They aren't time-limited. All of those skins and the two (three in CN) characters are a permanent part of the shop.
Nier collab in PGR has ceased forever after the 1st rerun, that's a bummer Do note that there is incoming collab Black Rock Shooter. There is two more patch from now (Everglowing Justice patch) Be sure to stock up around 30k BC for SSS+ BRS (she is rank A)
I hope they end up making a variety of skins, but I don't take advertisements to mean anything. Hoyo loves to put their characters in modern street clothes for various brand collabs without it amounting to anything. Hopefully it will be different with Kuro.
Skins would be awesome at a fair price or have sales now and then. I never knew why they took so long to get more skins on Genshin, and by the time they got some new ones like Ganyu for ex. (which is one of my favorite characters), I had los interest in the game, and couldn't even bother to reinstall it.

This is all fun and nice, but these are just regular features every gacha game out there has. It feels like choosing between mass-production cars: of course they all have electric windows and led headlights, two-color interior and fake leather steering wheel. And of course there will be "sport" version of the model down the road, even if it will be ridiculous like Renault Sandero Stepway Sport Edition.
I'm hoping Wuwa will provide what I are looking for. However, Star Rail and even Honkai Impact indicate that Genshin still doesn't care to accomplish that.
too many features i want from PGR to be in wuwa so ill just be patient for now cause i know they will bring them over eventually or make it better. but asap i want them to reform the BP rewards or give more variety of monthly subscriptions like PGR instead of copy pasta from genshin which is **** & the BP weapons feels useless when the standard weapon banner & limited weapon banner is 100% compared to genshin
I have quit games in the past entirely because they added a "dorm" system. If it's a good one I wouldn't mind, but usually, those just serve the purpose of making the daily grind more annoying.
Is pgr worth starting now? I've done literally everything in wuwa and I want something similar, gi is a no go because I played it since launch and I'm never going back, hsr is kinda boring as well.
Early game is a bit meh because it was released back in 2019 and Kuro was still inexperienced back then. Additionally, it was very easy to make mistakes as a newbie so I recommend you watch other PGR CCs like Gray Ravens Studio, Connerthought for some beginners guide Story of this game is very good. However, the first 8 chapters of the game is also a bit meh (it’s still much better act 1,2,3 of WuWa imo). After chapter 8 it’s getting better and the story significantly(it is considered one of the 6 best chapters according to CN players, potentially the recent chapter will be added into this list) improved at chapter 15. but it’s Visual Novel storytelling so it’s may not for everyone. When I played PGR for the first time, I know what to expect about the story and gameplay so I still managed to go through early game. If you don’t want to play through the first 8 chapters, go to the website Grayravens.com to read the story summary of the early story to grasp what happened in the story.
Just go for it, the game is pretty cool. I've been playing it since launch and now we're having the 3rd anniversary event so there's a bunch of things to do. And in the next patch we'll have one of the best characters of the game alongside with a pretty good feature.
I started the game some months ago, You can easily get all 4 stars characters and update them to 5 star. As a new player, you'll get 2-3 5 star character. There is no gacha on banner and weapons mostly. Now, it's global 3rd anniversary so you can target the character of your choice.
Hoyoshill shut up. Wuwa better 1000% it's the perfect gacha game, undebatable. Your other Arknights, Blue Archive, FGO, Genshin gacha are all trash kiddy games and will all die soon.

I'd also like Wuwa to implement something like Warzone in PGR where you can totally practice your rotations while also getting enough rewards against multiple waves of enemies. Wuwa is the best gacha game ever, period. No other games have ever done it this well and make characters that look and play good. All the other gacha stuff you see like Arknights, Blue Archive, Genshin, ToF, Nikke, FGO, HSR, Limbus are all inferior when compared. They will all shutdown sooner. If you play gacha, play Wuwa no competition, no debate.
Would love skins. Colabs are fine too if they "fit" the universe i guess. But pls no, no dorms, they are just a bunch boring chores. Also dont like chibi's lol.

Let's not get carried away with the "players want to spend money" thing, gacha games are made to pray on that fomo and this game is no different lol. Don't get me wrong it's 100% better than most other gacha game, as i haven't felt to bad about pull rates(outside of bad weapon luck lol). I I would kill for new outfits for rover, while i love her og look i just know she could look even cooler.
Nah, no need ( at this stage) of dorm or cosmetic BS. The game needs some ironing on QoL, optimisation ( or mobile players won't shut up about it) mechanics, expecially the echo levelling up, why can't we use unused echos as fodder ffs? Is bad enough to have a terrible rng while rolling them, wasting truckloads of resources. So yeah, a barrage of cosmetic skimpwear can wait, IMO.

A new mode or feature I would love for them to introduce is the return of Norman war and Babel Tower. But maybe not anytime soon since those modes require heavy investment for multiple elemental teams. So maybe in, I don't know, half a year maybe they can announce their return in wuwa.
Regarding the collabs, if they are implemented with care, it could work storywise given how there's time bending, we could have dimension bending as well. I would like though, they are properties with a similar theme to the game, so that wouldn't break the feel. Like I can see Nier and DMC no problem, but it would really fck it up for me to have Luffy there. Or maybe leave that type of collab for skins, I could see a Jiyan with Zoro skin for example looking really good.

I think collab should wait. We need to flesh out the world and lore and more native charaters. Also yes it do breaks immersion but that will no such a problem if collabs dont participate in the story. and are introduced later

as you said, OFTEN SKIN RELEASE AND SEASONAL EVENT IS A MUST FOR GACHA GAMES.... PGR have a tons of it and pretty shame Hoyo games didn't have that beside HI3 and GI 1.5ver (after that they gone, summer event on sumeru didn't count and it's absurd to have halloween skin)..... but for summer event/skin i kinda doubt Wuwa will have that since most of gacha games already start it (GBF, FGO, AG, NIKKE, etc) and there's still no live streaming to announce summer event 😢

I truly believe Punishing Gray Raven is the best Mobile Gacha Game that has ever existed. Yes even better than HSR & WuWa. Those games were created to work best in PC and Consoles but PGR is designed to work best in mobile and it really shows in its combat specifically the ping system.

you forgot to mention the PGR leap system. where older characters will have a new skill and damage upgrade. so older unit would still be viable in newer patches.. they might not gonna be as strong as the latest character at the very least the power creep is will not gonna be big.. that is pretty much the best system PGR have implemented because of that you can enjoy older characters and not gonna be out of the meta

Persona 5 collab has to happen since they had Nier in PGR. That's the other collab it seems every gacha has to get lol.
I hope they end up making a variety of skins, but I don't take advertisements to mean anything. Hoyo loves to put their characters in modern street clothes for various brand collabs without it amounting to anything. Hopefully it will be different with Kuro.
Skins would be awesome at a fair price or have sales now and then. I never knew why they took so long to get more skins on Genshin, and by the time they got some new ones like Ganyu for ex. (which is one of my favorite characters), I had los interest in the game, and couldn't even bother to reinstall it.

This is all fun and nice, but these are just regular features every gacha game out there has. It feels like choosing between mass-production cars: of course they all have electric windows and led headlights, two-color interior and fake leather steering wheel. And of course there will be "sport" version of the model down the road, even if it will be ridiculous like Renault Sandero Stepway Sport Edition.

Early game is a bit meh because it was released back in 2019 and Kuro was still inexperienced back then. Additionally, it was very easy to make mistakes as a newbie so I recommend you watch other PGR CCs like Gray Ravens Studio, Connerthought for some beginners guide
Story of this game is very good. However, the first 8 chapters of the game is also a bit meh (it’s still much better act 1,2,3 of WuWa imo). After chapter 8 it’s getting better and the story significantly(it is considered one of the 6 best chapters according to CN players, potentially the recent chapter will be added into this list) improved at chapter 15. but it’s Visual Novel storytelling so it’s may not for everyone.
When I played PGR for the first time, I know what to expect about the story and gameplay so I still managed to go through early game. If you don’t want to play through the first 8 chapters, go to the website Grayravens.com to read the story summary of the early story to grasp what happened in the story.
Just go for it, the game is pretty cool. I've been playing it since launch and now we're having the 3rd anniversary event so there's a bunch of things to do. And in the next patch we'll have one of the best characters of the game alongside with a pretty good feature.

You can easily get all 4 stars characters and update them to 5 star. As a new player, you'll get 2-3 5 star character. There is no gacha on banner and weapons mostly.
Now, it's global 3rd anniversary so you can target the character of your choice.

Wuwa is the best gacha game ever, period. No other games have ever done it this well and make characters that look and play good. All the other gacha stuff you see like Arknights, Blue Archive, Genshin, ToF, Nikke, FGO, HSR, Limbus are all inferior when compared. They will all shutdown sooner.

Let's not get carried away with the "players want to spend money" thing, gacha games are made to pray on that fomo and this game is no different lol. Don't get me wrong it's 100% better than most other gacha game, as i haven't felt to bad about pull rates(outside of bad weapon luck lol). The game needs some ironing on QoL, optimisation ( or mobile players won't shut up about it) mechanics, expecially the echo levelling up, why can't we use unused echos as fodder ffs? Is bad enough to have a terrible rng while rolling them, wasting truckloads of resources. So yeah, a barrage of cosmetic skimpwear can wait, IMO.
