Looking back on your early game echo farming, would it have been improved by choosing different mobs to farm?
Knowing what I know now, I could have literally spent hours less time gearing my Jiyan. What a shame.
I gave up going for the 5pc effect....after that 2x bonus Drop rate event.
Seeing Fire DMG% in Thunder set, and Electro DMG% in Fire set etc.
3costs are just the bane of this game.
I settled with 2pc DMG% + 2pc ATK/ER set with 41 and 43 partnered respectively.
More easier to use the Right Elemental DMG% bonus when it's on the ATK%/ER Set.
@@saintontas data merging actually gave me quite a few on-set dmg 3 costs and a good amount of on-set main stat 1 cost. You just have to check every single new echo and lock the ones you need/ might need in the future.
@@saintontas I never tracked a specific TD at all and I somehow managed to build my characters decently. I just slay any TD I come across the map while exploring. I'm bad at planning so doing so in games I play makes it less fun ngl. To me, such things are only for irl stuff
I think WuWa echo system is 100 times better than Genshin artifact system.
I played Genshin hardcore since Jan 2023 til WuWa got released, invested ton of $$$, time n efforts on artifacts but some are still very average. Most of my main chars are top 5% and my C6 Yelan is top 2% on 180+% ER despite having shit hydro goblet. It's total bs that you need to farm artifacts 12+ months(just for one char) to get gg one unless you get super lucky.
So I'm loving WuWa echoes compared to total bs Genshit artifacts, been working on and off on Jinhsi artifacts for past ~3 weeks and pretty much got what I wanted yesterday(i really wanted to have high ER).
My Jinhsi: 16704 HP, 2526 ATK, 1409 DEF, 150.0 ER, 76.0 CR, 248.0 CD
(5x ER, CR rolls and 4x CD, ATK% rolls, and 1x ATK, 2x Skill rolls.. and I know you can have extra ~40.0 CD with 5x high CD rolls, but I'd prefer 20% Liberation over extra 40% CD on my current echoes.
It would be great if WuWa offered ways to reroll the echo stats, i.e. you can change one sub-stat to the roll you want, or just reroll one selected sub-stat etc. maybe using a weekly or monthly limited item which you can get with hazard record or data set(blue/purple special tokens from tower of adversity) and/or using afterglow/oscillated coral(stuff you get from pulling on banner). & maybe also add different item that can change the main stat on unrolled echoes?
Anyway even without any changes, it's still 100 times better than Genshit's totally tarded way... super limited resins(i spent ~250primos on resin everyday for months at the start) plus 90+% useless artifacts with super low chance of rolling good stats combo. - that actually makes Genshit's scam weapon banner look nice imo.
My problem isn’t the echoes per se; it’s the lack of tubes to level them.

I've never realised how lucky I am. ER 3 cost echoes are rare.
I just got my first 2 energy regen 3 cost (both healer type) in 5 tries, never got it again. I feel insanely lucky, then again I can't get 4 cost turtle with heal main stat...
Also I'm only db 18 too... Capped by my union lvl (my db should be 21 but 18, because ul 38 and not 40)

@@TheAdovniK I got 4 ER 3 cost echoes. 2 for Moonlit for my sub-DPS and 2 for Rejuvenating set for my healer.
Trying to build Calchurros and SRover, just realized how hard it is to get ER main.
Haven`t problem with overworld grind. My problem is the tube XP are too expensive and too damn slow to grind.

Ngl I much prefer wuwa’s echo system because you don’t have to worry about having to land crit rate/ damage multiple times in a row like HSR/ Genshin as you upgrade to certain break points.
Exp can be managed, it's the Tuners that slow your grind to a halt. I'm at UL48 so I can only do 1 & 1/2 Tunes every 6 hours. The 30% recycle rate does bring it around 2 Tunes, but due the slow rate, I'm steady stocking up on exp and echoes.
@@Zer0Perplexity How? I'm UL56 and I have about 2k tuners laying around in my inventory and not a single tube to lvl up an echo to use the tuners on. It's so hard to get echo xp. You get 3 gold tubes for doing a single tacet field and that's 60 waveplates. I've got shitton of echoes that I would want to check rolls on but never enough xp to do it.

I just do 3/4 runs of tacet field a day, dailies and log out, built Jinshi fully that way

i think kuro is planning to always put the double drop event for the tacet fields on every or sometime between the second banner in every update(i might be wrong)
but that's the only time i get the motivation to farm echoes knowing that i'm also farming a lot of echo experience materials... since the last double drop event for tacet fields, i am just doing my dailies and preparing the mats for changli...
Once you get the initial couple DPS characters built, I honestly prefer farming tacet fields for most of the 3-cost echoes. Unfortunately, it does feel like 1-costs rarely drop from tacet fields so I spend a decent amount of time grinding for those.

I’d almost completely agree if it wasn’t because of the echo merge feature. At DB level 21, merging echoed grants 2 or 3 at the same time more often than just 1, and all of them being gold echoes, I really don’t see why I wouldn’t farm as many as I consider fun or as time allows me to.
Just running Aalto and a cleave/aoe dps, whilst practicing violent amounts of animation cancels by dodging or swapping, is true joy.
I can’t remember the last time I had this much fun steadily pursuing my skill ceilings whilst progressing my account and having a blast at the same time.
I still get 1 echo most of the time from merging. guess im doing something wrong then.
In my case I'm having trouble with the freaking 3 cost. I get a lot of atk% but all I want is the right elemental bonus 😭
I have trouble with farming fusion 3 star echo. I have 1, but the second can be a wolf or bird. But after all they gave me just def/hp atk +40 stats, resonance lib.bonus . I got Changli 2 weeks ago but still can't obtain echo. I thought about stop playing this endless farm.
Having to match the elemental bonus with the elemental set only to get shit traits like flat hp/def and heavy attack bonus is hell
Just use the atk% ones they're not bad just slightly worse than going for matching element
Here is my tips for farming 1 cost echo:
- First get your 50% echo drop food ready
- Use Jinshi and or havoc rover or any chara with wide AOE attack
- make sure you used up your waveplate and drop your sol level by one and go ham on Port City of Guixu and kill everything there as quickly as possible then move to North, the area where you fight in the chapter VI story
- Don't forget to use interactive map and plan your route! Never use the in game tracker, that sht garbage.
In 30 minutes I usually get like 50-60 echo. Only do it like twice a week and you should be good to go, your echo exp and tuner will be what hold you back, not echo mainstat
I also wish they would add filters to the already existing ones like combine the one from the data bank, bag and when leveling the echo in the resonator screen

Same. I keep telling myself at some point we'll have nothing better to do with our waveplates than run echo tacet fields- but that feels like a long way off.
Same I am at the point where I have 2 good full echo sets for my 3 dps (jinshi, havoc mc and prefarm for changli). Then after that I just use random pieces on units from moonlit/rejuvinating. So there's really no need to farm, daily tacet fields is more than enough
The only thing I farm nowadays are 1-costs. Tacet fields got the 3-costs covered.
That's not how it works, you need echoes
@@AdvancedGamingYT you only need main stats(which you can select with event rewards) then you can put off farming sub stats until after you've finished guaranteed upgrades like character ascensions, skills, and weapons.

anyway to make turtle drop healing bonus, i have been farming that boss 4-5 times a day for weeks and only have 1 healing bonus piece, i need 3, also the drop rate of ER echo on healing set is a massive pain to get, or any 3 cost echo in general. while farming suppose to be the easiest out of other gatcha games, i find myself losing my patience here the most.

@@rambobrodSame, the turtle mostly drop healing bonus with damaging sub-stats for me while I only need hp subs.

Even farming those 3cost Rock Golems for that Energy Regen, is such a PAIN to grind for.
It only gets more frustrating when trying to find the "right" Elemental DMG bonus on the right set.

One VERY important factor not discussed in this video is the quantity of mobs. For example the Fission jinrock 1 cost echo may drop 3 different sonata sets but they often spawn In groups of 3 or more whereas the electro Predator often Spawns in groups of 1-2 making it potentially better to farm jinrocks solely for the increased echo drop rate from the much larger groups
*When Zhezhi drops* everyone: FINALLY I can use these glacio echoes. *then realized you probably have to use moonlight* 😡 😭
Rerolling for tunes would be a god send.

i don't think 1 cost is a problem it is pretty easy to farm even if you farm the ones with 3 set, but still this is just useful information, i never though of it but always did it unaware lol,
the main problem and most disgusting thing is the 3-cost echo, for the 3 costs, the 4th one is guaranteed but the past 3 only have 20% drop rate, and you need 1 set out of 3 or 2 sets then you need 1 main stat out of 11 stats then you need good sub stats with high roll or mid at least, this is too much
For real, I've been grinding some Flautists for the electro set and it's been such a pain to get the right main stat, the new electro 3 cost doesn't even really solve the issue because there are only 6 or 7 of them in the entire Mt. Firmament map. There's no good amount of 3 costs apart from Violet Heron to cover the rng fiesta if you want to build Calcharo or Yinlin 🫠

Tf is this even a problem , dont push kuro to change some things that are not necessary , farming echoes is not a problem from day 1 with all the rewards (selector echoes) they gave , databank maxed tc farm gave you like 6-4 gold echoes per run and its so easy to get a 1 cost atk echoes and you’ll eventually have alot of echoes as you’ll play as the world mob itself reset more than twice a day , the only thing that bothers a lot of player is how low the echoes exp drop from tacet and how hard it is to upgrade an echo , thats the only thing kuro needs to optimised
Also farming the red strong enemies guarantees echo drops. Its worth while fighting them
I'm focusing on getting everyone to lvl 90 first then to get their talents to lvl 10 and lastly when I'm done with that I'll focus on grinding echoes. I find it less tedious and I'm not gonna get burned out on that, I think Genshit fucked my sense of progression and I lost any will to spend time on stupid rng so I'll pick the easy route for echoes.

Great video with awesome tip. Though, if I may share my experience, I farm echoes for the stuff they do; for example, I try to find a Violet Heron, with the Fusion sonata, and Fusion dmg bonus, because it's fun to counter enemies attack when I'm playing as Chixia. Or maybe farm some Zig Zag, cuz that echo is like having SpecRover's outro, but on demand.
Though it might not be optimal, it's super fun to experiment with echoes' abilities. It's one of the great pros of this system; literally usable gears
Imma be honest the only echoes I get are either from daily rewards or tacet fields, the open world farming became exhausting after 1st month of the game lol
With mt.firmamet glacio or frost now has 4 echoes that's 3 cost. Makes farming them so easy
I have 500 potential echoes for more than a month but I can't upgrade them cause no echoes materials, I stop gathering echoes, it's only wasting my time for nothing

On that note I hope kuro is cooking something for echo management because manually going through, locking and merging 2000 echoes is the worst experience in the game especially on pc controls

Rather than 1 cost i think 3 costs are more pain to farm first you thier drop rate is low then finding them in the correct element amd correct bonus is a bigger pain
i only farm 3 cost and barley do open world farming at that and i have 4 working on 5 really good sets thats with me having not good luck, main thing is to not over comit to a echo that rolls bad stats early, that will stunt your prog hard
Hello, I'd like to get some opinions. I was planning to pull for Changli to pair with my Encore but I've been hearing that she doesn't synergize as well as I hoped because they both want a lot of field time. My current teams are Calcharo (hoping to replace with Xiangli Yao) Yinlin Jianxin, Rover Sanhua Verina, and I was hoping to build the last team to be Encore Changli Baizhi but am worried it would be better to just for Jinshi and pair her with a S5 Yuanwu and bench Rover or Encore. I'm a low spender who just buys battle pass and astrite pass, but struggle with ToA so I think it would be smart to prioritize what would help my account the most even though I wanted Changli. I also lost my last 50/50 so I'm guaranteed on the next banner and have about 14k astrite to spend. Any advise or suggestions are appreciated!
idk about encore bc i dont have her but changli's best team seems to be rover(havoc) verina(you could maybe use baizhi) changli
i havent tried end game content bc i happen to use verina and mortefi in almost all of my teams
im building baizhi & sanhua soon tho
look up some guides on her teams maybe and see their gameplay to decide?
from the guide that i watched her and encore seem to preform worse than with rover so its up for you to decide if you want your havoc rover team to be upgraded
encore might work great on her own as a hyper carry
..stay away from 3-set echoes. Prioritize 2-set echoes where you can use either set to increase your chance of getting a piece you can use.
There is the lightcrusher which can only drop spectro set. Those are precious and rare so when I was farming for jinhsi I pity farmed them until I got a good one for jinhsi
Pity farm means farming for 3 elites you don’t need and they didn’t drop any echo. The next one, farm the elite echo you want and get a guranteed.
I settled with 2 PC element% + 2PC Atk% sets.
41 and 43 respectively. Especially for no Crit weapon characters.
if I get a havoc damage main stat in an electric set is there anywhere I can use it? because I farmed electric set for 9 days straight and didn't get a single echo with electro main stat

When it comes to Tacet Suppression Fields with Daily Resin, does this mean it's better to enter the Fusion + Rejuvenating Glow domain, instead of the Void Thunder one. Is there a specific domain that's better for getting Fusion pieces?
Not really, the domain just guarantees that every echo dropped will be one of those two sets. It just so happens that molten rift shares a lot of mobs with rejuvenating glow/void thunder.
TFW I want healing bonus from the turtle but I get 13 crit rates and crit damages before inevitably giving up.
You can just farm 3 cost and fodder the rest into data merge for 1 costs.
today i got a message that i have 2000/2000 echoes, i never thought i max capacity and all are 5*
there is no such thing as a wrong set 1 cost cuz u can use it on others not just ur char that u happen to farm for atm
This is good information. I didn't catch onto this at all since I haven't needed to farm for 1 costs. Do the same principles apply to 3 costs? Is it worth it to make a guide on 3 cost farming?
Every 3-cost in the game can only drop 2 sets, aside from the Lightcrusher which only drops 1, so it's not really possible to optimize them in any way other than trying to farm for two sets at once.
Unfortunately I drowning up to my eye balls in echos. Maybe this information will be valuable at a later date.
tbh, while farming my echos up to the 4 star rarity i got lucky as hell. I have a full set prepared for changli, without farming any 1 stars. (also did tacet fields which made the pain easier)

Honestly, I like farming for echoes but with the frame drops my PC gets, the game is a bit exhausting, especially if you run around farming stuff only to get duds

I only do bare minimum right now. Later in game we gona get more echoes and usualy is that better stuff powercreeps older stuff.

Farm 30 of those bell-borne geochelone today. Almost 20 of them are rejuvenating glow but none of it got Healing % main stats. Fck me.

Its to balance out the game, the game just released a month ago and as an f2p, i already have spectro, electro, fusion and moonlit built all 5/5 double crit echoes. Don't rush things up, if they add that it will unbalance the game and everyone will be in end game and has nothing to do and grind anymore, perfect formula for a dead game, if u bricked up ur account by wasting them all, its ur fault

I dont have to think so shit i havent spend my waveplates ut better to think so yeah ut fine i already and it build so i will play another thing for a while then return when there something to do :] it wont break the game and the fact it alot of people say "materials isnt enough" and also have rng factor.. if you and i or third one is lucky that doesn't mean everyone esle will to.

The resource is scarce that looks impossible to do unless you whale for waveplates and do tacet fields since day 1. And yeah you proved my point, after people are done with building all the sets, they won't touch the game anymore unless new content releases, game just released one month and u already maxed echoes, most people only need 3-4 for 3 dps and moonlit for 1 sub dps to clear TOA stars anyways. Game will just get older quickly if everyone is on the late game so if some people bricked their account by having shtty luck. It is what it is sadly

@@fruitchoco675 its a manipulation trick for echos you have search it up :] its works my yinlin has 60/270 calcharo 54/240 rover 50/230 sanhua 40/223 verina has 220+ er jianxin is also dps build i forgot her ratio tho uts probably mid haven't focus much and jinhsi has 64/220 with atk weapon tho i need a crit dmg 4 cost rn :\ and changli per farmed also every character is at level 60 (i am at ul level 52) i hate to be caped and i have nothing to do hsr is always at background genshin ewww wuwa everything is done 100% explored.. so i will eventually move but than i know that if i dont my waveplates i will have trouble later when upgrading echoes for the characters uc. Thats not good for me. Also i am f2p. Also try echomacing/ manipulation its good i get 2-3/5 echos double crit with other good substats on a avg :]
