I love my 2007 Night train!!❤ After having 2 plates put in my back, I though my riding days were over! I gave my custom chopper to my son.. It was just too rough on me..😢 I saw the Night train on f.b. marketplace with 18,000 miles and new & custom everything... The guy was about to lose it to a finance company.. I got it for $4500.. Best money I ever spent!! And the ride is a lot easier on my back & hips... ❤😊 I'm keeping mine!!
I used to hate bobtails but i love them now. Now i regret what I've done with my 02 by cutting the fender mount for bobbed out look. Such a sexy lookin bike compared to the current models
Thanks Charles. I'm always looking for a new project to tinker on and have already moved on to the CVO. The Night Train is still kinda in the family though if I want it back :)
Gorgeous Night Train!!! I just don’t understand though how you can own a bike like that for 3 seasons and it has under 3500 miles?!? They’re meant to be ridden dude!!!
I noticed you painted the fender extension. Is that flat black? Can’t tell from the video how good it looks. Did you like the end result or do you wish you would’ve kept it chrome? I just purchased one for my night train. Questioning whether to keep it chrome or paint it black
Great question! It's the Kuryakyn chrome extension that I painted with Flex Seal rubber sealant. It matched the wrinkle black paint just right and never peeled off in the 3 seasons of riding it was on.
Good luck on the CVO Street Glide I had one it was orange black and silver it was a beautiful bike hours of chrome junkie I couldn't leave it alone it was in American bagger it was in several magazines the divorce got it good luck to you man ride safe
Thanks! Those were the stock bars that came with the bike. I think the Night Train's came out with two versions - these and a straight drag bar with straight 6" risers.
I also have a nighttrain, I like some of your mod's think I'm going to take some of your ideas, like the edgecut shiftlinkage and the black clutch and break Question: I just checked harleys website and it says that that throttle linkage does not fit a night train...did you have to mod the linkage to fit it?...I have a 2008 so I can't imagine there being THAT much of a difference. this is what I'm refing www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/shop/Slotted-Black-Anodized-Gear-Shift-Linkage/p/33778-09 ah, just realized you're from Iowa also, I'm from CR
Harley part 34018-08 should fit your Night Train. HD may update their site to phase out some older models, but this is the part I had for mine and still should be available.

Very tastefully modded.. 😎🖤
What a beauty
Forgot to add that is has the Vance & Hines Fuelpak, HD lowering shocks and the handlebar risers are from a Softail Deluxe.
Man I think a two up Saddleman seat would look incredible on this bike.
What handlebars are those? They look beautiful on that bike!
