Picked up a 2008 NT with EFI , not crazy about fuel injection besides it starting right up! Only mods done were changing out the stock risers and adding 8 inches with the stock cables that didnt need changing out. Other modification was lowering the rear end 2 inches and a home made solo seat, no padding , thats right no padding and its still comfortable on long rides. Instead of changing the stock pipes ive knocked out the baffle plates to give it a better sound and no popping . Beautiful bikes and has been reliable, my only complaint is having to put her to sleep for a few months of winter in montreal , oh well .
Should have my 06 Night Train in a couple of days. I've wanted extended forks on a bike for awhile and 4" overs will do me just fine. Thanks for posting mate 👍
Hey man! I wanted to say that I came here from your blog. As a fellow Ontarian, I thought that the SEO landscape is so volatile nowadays and that a TH-cam channel would align better with my interests - so I thought doing this would be better since I'm actually going to stick with it. That said, love what you've done here. You clearly know how to develop a following, so I'm really hoping you'll make more content! You have earned a subscriber.
Love the look of the night train always have and always would, I call .y wideglide the brother of the the night train. Now the night train is the breakout
Have an option to get a 2001 night train. Looking at videos of the bike to help me make the decision. Thanks for your take on them! Plus I also have a jacked up Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 4x4 sitting on 33’s. Is it destiny? I think so!!
Put the conversion kit in cams 590 lift in with the 2005 cam plate in with 2005 heads in 42 mm Mukni carb screaming eagle intake thunderheader exhaust hi comp forged pistons 95 bore hole shot kit in the primary
Lol correction 06 Heads lol and will have a complete Screaming Eagle 6Speed case and all installed soon! As soon as the case is powder coated . And then I’m thinking about putting a brand new 19 wheel with duel rotors that came out a FXDR, I just haven’t decided yet, depends on how it going to look. I doubled my Horsepower, so with the 6speed I’ll go faster at lower rpm’s and stop better with the new front wheel
Hey, I’m 5’10 and found the forward controls on my 06 along w the stock 6” risers to be a bit too much of a reach but it depends on what kind of style you’re looking for… I put 9” pullback risers on along w the Harley “Reach” seat and found it to be PERFECT. Also, I do believe my foot controls were extended an inch or two by the previous owner so the stock foot controls may not be too bad but if they are, the seat is an excellent option. 👍🏼
I’ve got an 08 night train with 2” drop rear. Same as you in height, with no problems with reach. It’s a comfortable riding position, especially with heel rest pegs
@@CanadianGearhead take the baffles out of your Vance & Hines straight shots...much better sound. You will have to change the settings on your fuel pack however.....
& people say Harley riders don't wave to anyone, haha. Checked out the video. Just got my hands on a 08' night train. Was hesitant on it at first but it already rides like a dream.
Just purchased a 09 night train today!
Congrats! The newer ones are definitely nicer
I have had my 09 NT for 2 years. Stage 1 sissy bar and just put on 16”apes. Have fun with it.
You got me to install 8 inch black risers on my '06 Night Train. Thanks man!

They're great bikes. I wonder if Harley will bring the model back as one of the new Softails in the future.
We could’ve been friends, right up to the point you crapped on beach bars 😂
First harley Davidson i rode was a night train, the same week i traded in my sportbike for a cruiser non Harley, but now i have a wideglide

Just picked up an 01 night train. What do you think so far?
Sad news. I didn’t have it long. Traded the night train and a sportster for a 2016 wide glide. Had it for a year and now I have a 2019 street glide.
Weird man...I have a lifted grand Cherokee and an 03 night train. Great minds think alike?

2002 Night Train here. My baby
Have a 2001 night train and a 2003 fat boy. Great video. Hope to see more videos on your bike.
Does the Fat Boy ride much different? Always wondered that
I have 03 night train...in my opinion, ..nicest bike harley ever made...
I agree 100% instant classics imo! Congrats brother 🤘
Would you say this bike will suit a 5'6 guy? Been keeping my eye on one here in Edmonton for a bit now!

Buy it! (Mid controls > forward controls)
How tall are those risers? I have 5" risers on now, thinking about putting 8" risers on.
Man nice Chanel
Just one question, where's this road?
Thanks, that was the Forks of The Credit near Bellfountain, Ontario
I would have dropped my bike going that slow.
Props
Awesome stuff, I sub’d.
masterpiece
So I'm 5'7 and I love this bike I'm new ro driving is this a good bike for a guy my size 5"7 196lbs
Love the handle bars and risers!? What size and model?
They're 8" risers from Drag Specialties. 5'6 shouldn't be a problem, you could always lower it like mine to make it more comfortable
@@CanadianGearhead great thx Tim! Have a good one man 🙋♂️
Have an 09 vance hines gravel blasters
40-50 mpg highway
Way cooler than a Prius too 😎

I just bought a 05
How do you like the 05, any complaints?
Sips fuel
Harley ruins you for other bikes. I should have started with something else and finished with the Harley. I hate chrome lol

The newer Trains are fantastic bikes. Enjoy it!
