I’ve been wearing a Bugbite ankle holster for my back up gum while on duty for almost a year now. It’s a great holster and extremely comfortable. That being said it has virtually no trigger guard and that always worries me. This looks like it might be a good replacement to that. Nice video.

The holster is awesome or the holster sucks. It all comes down to we are all different, we have different body types, gun carry styles, whatever...what works great for one may not work for another but doesn't mean its junk or even best thing ever. I have an older iwb alien gear holster and love it. I have been wearing it nearly daily for the past 2+ years as I carry pretty much whenever I leave the house. I just ordered the Shapeshift starter kit with the ankle carry expansion. Can't wait to get it

Seriously considering this or the Big Bite. I wouldn't reccomend it for everyone but I don't mind the weight so having a back up gun is starting to make more and more sense to me personally.
I'd really like to see a video on the bug bite by you, maybe even a comparison as I really enjoy your reviews. As always, nice videography, great presentation (especially with all your lighting and gorgeous backdrops), and I thought you made your point in a informative and concise manner.
Just one thing though, stop apologizing to trolls or haters because they think you're "in someone's pocket"... those people will always find excuses not to like what you're doing, most likely because they wish they had to drive to do what you are. Also, anyone who watches more than one gun youtuber should be very aware they've demonitized all of them, so clearly you're not making this channel to get that David Dobrick money lol. But you're videos are well made, information, honest and your videography and editing skills are better than virtually anyone else making Pewtube content. That's definitely your secret sauce in my opinion, keep cooking with that shit is all I'm saying lmfao 😆

My question about ankle carry is whether the holster becomes visible when sitting down, as your pant leg typically rides up a bit when you sit. With the Alien Gear two-piece approach, I worry the holster would be visible. What do you think?

Looking at the ankle and pocket holster expansions. If i didn't live in south Texas Id definitely get the ankle holster but you only wear pants in Texas maybe one month out of the year. The pocket holster is leading the way being that i might get a LCPII as backup. Decisions decisions

Leather holsters suck! That's actually why I'm looking into this system. I have a De Santis leather holster for my Glock 42 and it ended up making the slide rust on it. I sold the 42 and picked up the 43 and shock shock the slide rusted on it also cause the leather withholds moisture so it causes your guns to rust. You can keep your leather crap I'll never buy another leather holster ever again!

Everyone is built different. I spent two hours walking/climbing in a cave followed by hiking through a state park for a few hours. Put it on at 0900 this morning and took it off at 2100. My primary belt rig hurt my side more than anything today; the ankle piece... never noticed it.
This highlights the need to try different gear. What works for one person doesn’t work for others.
