  • I bought my new Galco Ankle Glove ankle holster so I can carry a Glock 43 backup gun in addition to my everyday concealed carry Glock 19. James Yeager told me this is his EDC ankle holster and I trust his advice concerning CCW matters. Plus, I got the best price possible by buying mine through Big Daddy Unlimited. I can't be the only one that thought the gun was on his right ankle.

    Ive used this holster for 20 years. Worn out 2. There is none better. It works even better with the additinal leg strap.

      Yep, I bought the leg strap the other day. It helps a lot. But it is not as cozy soft as the ankle part. It sort of irritated my leg after a long hot day

      @@SurvivalOnPurpose i have had a the holster come loose while running because the vecro was worn out and the leg strap kept it attached to my leg. The strap also supports the weight of the gun. I carry a glock 27.

    An ankle holster may be far quicker if you need to get to your firearm from behind a steering wheel. or if your knocked on your rear end. Good option.

      Ankle Holster is the best. The only downsides are you need long pants and it is a slow draw when standing. But other than these it beats the other holsters in every other category.

    Cowboy boots with a std pipe works well. You put the pistol and holster on first then the boot. The pipe adds support to he holster. Worn one for 20 years with no problem.

    do u think fat, big ankles would be worse for concealment or better bc more surface area on the leg against the gun to hide??

    • @SurvivalOnPurpose
      @SurvivalOnPurpose  หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on the pants more than anything. The leg opening needs to be big enough

    Good info on what appears to be a great product. I couldn't help but notice though that you had a magazine loaded in your 43 and while showing everyone the close-up details of the holster, you rotated the muzzle at yourself at leadt once ... hope it was unloaded? Just looking out for you, brother 👍

    Glock 21 for men. Smith & Wesson 642 airweight hammerless revolver for women,
    so while she's walking the street, she can hold the firearm & shoot from inside her
    shoulder bag. If someone attack her.

      My hats off to you. That's more gun than I want around my ankle. I do have one for my G26 that I sometimes swap to from my 43.
      Have you tried a tuckable holster? My HAWG Holster is tuckable and virtually invisible thanks to the UltiClip which hides nicely behind the belt. Just a little natural overhang or drape and even that is covered.

      @@SurvivalOnPurpose I actually own a HAWG holster, lol. Bought years ago after watching your channel.
      I’m trying an ankle holster because the IWB holsters won’t let me tuck in my church pants😂

    • @SurvivalOnPurpose
      @SurvivalOnPurpose  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unless you have the UltiClip XL (which I really don’t like) your HAWG Holster is tuckable. I used to wear mine under my Scoutmaster uniform. The only visible part is the top of the UltiClip behind your belt and just a minor wrinkle of shirt covers that.

    I had to think about this video for awhile and I guess I owe Bryan a thank you.
    I’ve been planning a trip to the Atlanta area to visit friends, but after watching this video we are meeting at their lake house in Northern GA. If Atlanta is so dangerous that ordinary citizens need to not only continually pack a handgun with a spare magazine but also a back-up handgun (I guess also with a spare magazine) it is too dangerous for me to visit for fun and pleasure.
    So, I’ve elected to practice the 1st rule of self-defense - Avoidance. There are several rules to follow before one starts blasting away with all that hardware.
    Just FYI, my friends do not believe Atlanta is that dangerous and they have lived and raised a family there for 40 years.

    • @SurvivalOnPurpose
      @SurvivalOnPurpose  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are asking whether Galco makes an Ankle Glove for Glock 42, they answer is yes they do. If you are asking if a Glock 42 is a good gun to carry, all I can give you is my opinion. Personally, I prefer a 9mm because I think m a .380 may not be as effective a tool to quickly end a lethal confrontation. Others would disagree with me. I will say I don’t know of any law enforcement or military who carry anything less than a 9mm as their duty weapon. There is probably a reason for that.
