Kay, you need to get yourself a leather sofa! I have 2 ragdolls and used to spend half of my life washing and hoovering my cream linen sofa! Then I replaced it for a leather sofa, it's honestly been life changing, the cat hair never ever sticks to it,and muddy paw marks simply wipe off,it took years to save up for it, but it was well worth it😊
IV been very lucky, my cats never ever scratch or claw at the leather, and yet they clawed and scratched my fabric sofa to bits!🤣

Kay - tighten the rope on your washing line so that it doesnt droop low....when its much more "tight" the wash will blow in the wind better with your wash props...wee hack from 65yr old..!! x
I love your Cottage💕. Your garden is so cozy ....I know you don’t like the tile colors but maybe put some pots with pink and purple annuals around that area. It was so satisfying watching everything be cleaned. Many blessings 🌸🌸

You are only 62! That is young! I am 73, turning 74 in November. I still think I am that young woman, but age does slow us down a bit. No matter, I refuse to let age get in the way despite joints not cooperating 😮

Oh my goodness Kay.....I love love love jetwashing! Its soooooo satisfying & therapeutic & just as much watching someone else do it too 👍🏻. You did a great job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Im currently undergoing having 50 sq mtrs relaid due to horrendous decision by previous owner 😱.....all their equipment etc is currently on my lawn & I havent been able to get round to borders so currently have a very weedy garden & I dread to think what lawn will look like once they pack up.....still I'll have a beautiful level patio to enjoy & grass is resilliant & will come back with abit of tlc 🤞🏼. Pick yourself up a mini steam cleaner you’ll need it when the little one comes along and you can easily clean the couch without having to take it apart. It’s also beneficial having pets because accidents happen.

Hi Kay, wanted to let you know that Cuprinol garden paint works on pathing slabs. We had the yellow and pink slabs and we painted them grey to tone them down x
I highly recommend the hemline snag repair needle for fixing the cat clicks in your couch. Made mine look brand new, until playtime at least 😂 Also we had a shocking surprise when we cleaned the patio in our new house. They were so gross we thought they were grey. Turned out they were orange and cream checker board. Instant regret but honestly the garden smelled weird, especially when it rained so it was worth it to get rid of the smell.

Yep! My friend’s done that on her roof terrace - looks lovely, she said it was a doddle to put together.
Another - even cheaper - alternative is to use concrete paint and even stencil individual slabs in a darker colour .... create an outdoor carpet

I would paint the wall and the patio and possibly stencil the patio. What size are the squares? I have a nice stencil I've previously used x
Ggguurrrllll! There were like two times I wanted to just pause and get my butt moving lol! You did sooo much, while pregnant!! Humbles me, motivates me and more. Love you!! ohh - I had a suggestion or two - when you mentioned about the rug cleaner, if it’s one of those deep clean water vacuum ones, I know some come with upholstery attachments so you could try that instead of taking the sofa apart? - For the checkerboard patio 🫣 it’s really not bad but we have a similar aesthetic so I understand lol. I have seen other channels get these affordable ckick-in wood look tiles from Ikea that can just go right on top! I know now isn’t a practical time but maybe something to consider for later on! Going downstairs right now to haul the box trolley upstairs to inspire me to get some things done in the rooms next week 🙈 your fault 😄♥️🙏🏽🥹🎉🤗

I don't mind the creases they have mostly come out now anyway and saves water and money on the electric & water bill 🤗
Motivational/get it done vids inspire me. Something I’ve done lately is painted my patio slabs with a very dark Ash colour. I bought a couple of outside garden rugs. Like you I had the yellow and pale pink slabs.
They were the range in the early 80’s. It certainly transformed the patio area x
If you do paint the patio slabs, use Masonry paint.

We are coming into winter here in Australia. Missing the sunny weather and watmer days. . Love that jumpsuit so pretty. I have just got a greenhouse for mothers day. Really enjoy using it atm to grow some broccoli seeds. 😊

They're not slippers 🙈😂 they're garden shoes - like crocs but lined inside to keep my toes cosy! They can go in the wash if they get dirty and come out good as new 🤗 glad you found it motivating!

I love using the pressure washer...its quiet therapeutic.....seeing the mud wash away....and yes drawing on the floor...lol😅....looks great...i know you have the cats. And you wouldn't use chemical solution...but vinegar. Can break down some of the dirt and it can be used as disinfectant....helps to kill weeds .. well done great job...😊. And looking blooming x radiant.... pregnancy suits you ...🤗👍

Haha! 🙈 Just on a mission and it takes nearly two hours on the cycle I put it on so wanted it in and washed! 😂 It's always washed heavy loads really well so I don't mind, once it's wet it doesn't take up anywhere near as much space in there anyway x
