I have never heard of the flylady system before this vlog. I tidy up, wash dishes, do washing, clean bathroom every morning. I don't do morning and afternoon routine. If you do it in the morning which honestly doesn't take long, you have the afternoon to yourself, and if you're home alone the house remains tidy. I have been doing this for over 30 years along with many of my friends, makes sense really. Also if you put things back after you've finished with them it's easier. Enjoy your new routine xx
Oh my you brought back a great memory from when I lived with my parents. My mom always hung towels and sheets on the line. I loved it. It’s the little things you remember the most when they have passed on. One of my favorite memories is at Christmas time when my mom would send us children to our bedrooms so she could clean and wax the floors for Christmas. We would have to wait till they dried but for some reason I just love thinking about those days
Don’t rush to get a tumble dryer … with the rising costs that’ll be a fortune. Look into getting a heated airer for the winter months… less than 6p an hour … a game changer 👍
I’ve used The Flylady system for several years…so much so…it just comes naturally now for me. My inspiration is-Diane in Denmark. I work many hours in an office every week but the system works for me, as well. I love watching your videos. They are a calming inspiration to try and romanticize my hectic life. Give the kitties a tickle for me…they are precious.

Rah rah rah!! As Diane in Denmark would say, lol! I discovered flylady a few years ago, it has really helped me improve my home. Also creating homes for everything and making little changes to assist my husband to be tidier too! I have a spot for coffee drinking but need more flowers planted.

Oh I have to clean late evening around 6:30. My last meal is at 6,so I clean before I curl up with a book or TV. Then when I wake my home is fresh and clean. Love waking up to a clean home. Monday mornings is my deep deep clean of house, so house is nice all week. Love your channel so much.
I feel the same about laundry...love washing clothes and hanging them out to dry but hate having to put it all away!!
I so enjoy watching. I too enjoy scents in my home and wearing perfume. I didn’t catch what Dom does for work. You certainly have a lovely home and garden. So calm and relaxing .
I am a nurse and work crazy shifts and the fly lady system is the only one that worked for me. You can keep what you want and change what doesn't work for you!

Thank you for sharing your routine. I'm a huge fan of flylady and have been doing it on and off for a few years. The past year I have been consistent with it and it really is life changing. It has become second nature and cleaning is so easy since it is done on a regular basis. Couldn't say enough good things about the system!!
The organised mum method is amazing to try to because it frees a lot of time it could suit u even better x

I have a black sink as well, although mine is only a few years old, and I use a very light buffing of olive oil to bring back a bit of a shine whenever it starts to look dull!

Your morning routine for tidying up is a very good habit especially if you ever have children. It really does help set the day 🥰 I figured that out late but I did it ! Yay !

Another Lovely and peaceful vlog. I’m trying to get into a routine.. I’m naturally not a very organised mummy and with four kids it gets quite out of control sometimes! your video is very inspiring. I’m also trying to incorporate quiet times (from coffee and Bible time site ) but it’s not a daily thing. I think the clutter is quite overwhelming but minimising quite a bit. I’m a Brit in the US so I like to incorporate bits of British style decor although things end up looking a mish mash! Working on it! Would love a vlog on your wardrobe too.. love the skirt too. I wish I’d kept my long flowy skirts/dresses from the 90’s!! Thank you and God bless.

Thoroughly enjoyed this video😍. It spoke to me on so many levels. YES to drying outside especially bedding where you can smell the fresh air on them 😘I am also a barefoot person by choice but having kicked the bed and broke my toenails once too often 😬i now do wear a pair of slip on lightweight shoes inside and keep a pair of clogs at the front and back door that we all use when needed. I really like you getting your home ready for Dom to come home to. I am Taking early retirement in two weeks time and I’m so excited to finally after all these years becoming a home maker. Lovely video, looking forward to more flylady episodes as I also am trying to weak my routines. 😘

I recently got myself familiar with the fly lady app. It’s visually easy and I love the ability to edit it to suit.
Today, I'm starting my first full week of FlyLady. So far, the results have been very positive, though I had to tweak the system pretty hard.
Oh my! I love your little pear tree. I bought on a couple of years ago, so it's still young.
Lovely stress free routine. I’ve just downloaded the FlyLady app what a game changer 😅 It saves printing it all out in a binder. Really liked the way you spent some time in the garden in the morning, I might have to start doing that.

No matter how messy my house is, my bathroom is *always* clean. I have IBS and I spend a lot of time in their, so I like it to be clean. Love your channel!! Xx
Looked like they had a harness. My daughter has a cat and that is how he gets to go outside. They can't use a collar that goes around the neck.
I have 2 questions. (BTW… Your kitties are beautiful!)
1. How do you keep up with all the cat hair? When and how often do you vacuum? Dust? I use a sticky roller on clothes, but what else have you found that helps keep up with cat hair around the house? I only have one kitty but she’s white and sheds on everything-furniture, throw pillows, carpet, hard floors, clothes, etc.
2. I want to use the fly lady system but I’m a retired widow and my days are so variable. How do you juggle your housework schedule around appts, errands, meeting friends for lunch, church work, etc? I have her book, but guess I missed that part.

Great video, this used to be me before I had my daughter, kids are fab and I wouldn't swap her for the world but boy any routine I set in place now goes straight out of the window x as for me time, forget it x ha ha x plenty of time for all that when she's all grown up I guess x
I love hanging my clothes on the clothesline especially sheets I also like having my house clean and tidy it makes so calm 😌 🙃 🙂

Just came across your channel. I love the cats on leashes!! I had a cat in my college years that I tried walking on a leash b/c I lived in an apartment but the leash seemed to paralyze him 😆 it was all I could all I could do to brag him along on that leash 🤣🤣

You can make your sink shine! Give it a good scrub with sodium carbonate (do not dissolve it, just use it dry as an abrasive) in case you need to remove the white water deposits, rinse it well, wipe the sink with a cloth, then add a little vegetable oil to the cloth and rub it! Voilà!

I've been watching my 1yo neice and 3yo nephew weekly. They are a GREAT motivation to keep things off the floor, helps to keep my 9yo in charge of cleaning up Legos, and making the kitchen safe by not having any dirty dishes available for them to grab.
