I truly believe that he did love her. I believe that she was attracted to him being the King and what he could do for her. After he gave up so much for her ... how could she ever leave him. Simple she couldn't. That doesn't make it a true love story ❤. Just my opinion.
Uhm it was not a great love story let alone a love story! They were just two manipulative people for their own reasons to get what they needed! Thank God the British government put a stop to these two before they handed England over to the nazis!
Edward loved being reprimanded by Wallis. She would tell him to take out the garbage. Make him wash the dishes. If he was real bad he’d have to go to bed early without dinner. Wallis ran the show and for some strange reason it turned Edward on.
What a wonderful documentary!! Thank you. So insightful. I would love 2 have met Wallis.
Inaccurate, they were married on June 3, 1937 - not May. It is said because it was George Vs day.

All the love was one-sided. Wallace was drawn to the King by his power, his money and his social standing.
edward, the king, was appealing. edward, the man was something else--stupid, immature, weak and boring

I thought the uncle was Wallace's dads brother? Not her mothers brother?
