2014 Chevrolet Silverado V6 my son drove the truck after the flash engine light was flashing for two days and then the truck shut off and he had it towed. I went and checked the truck out and ran a scan on the truck showed P305 and P 300. I found cylinder one and cylinder three coil packs bad so I changed all the plugs and the wires also they were fouled and very dirty and looked to be original. I checked to make sure that I was getting spark and I was. I tried to start the truck and it would just turn over with no start. I checked the mass airflow sensor and sprayed it out with mass airflow sensor cleaner. I also change the camshaft positioning sensor. Still no start. Any ideas

my man, thank you so much. this was easily the best diagnostics video ive seen. a lot of guys leave out what theyve done off camera, or or they will say what they are doing, but not why.. sometimes I over complicate things when it really is just compression fuel spark. hahaha cheers
You explained things very well. It was like sitting in a classroom. You mention parts and how they work. Other youtubers jump to straight to things like everyone are experts on here.
I so wish seeing you one day failing to diagnose and fix a presented problem in the vehicle. It seems as if every car problem you always a solution to it, no matter what. Keep it up guy. South Africa

This was a great video, showed me step by step how to figure out what was wrong with my 01 Silverado. Thank you so much, it ended up being my coil that I just bought was bad, weird but it does happen. Great video.
My Silverado is doing the exact same thing. I changed the fuel pump, fuel injectors and spark plugs. It was running like a champ. One morning it started to do this. I pressed the value on the fuel line that feeds the injectors and fuel shot out. SO now I will try this
@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair it was the distributor cap. I went directly to it since I watched your video. Now the check engine light it one, and has a mild misfire, but Ill go to autozone and let them scan it

Excellent video. Thorough methodical and well explained. I would however like to raise one point for your viewers if I may. You noted that the distributor cap and rotor did not seem to be worn and you identified moisture inside the cap.
