@@egold2071 Don't be so sure. Although we were all bummed at the national 55 MPH speed limit and suddenly expensive gasoline, we still had decades of great automobiles in front of us. 1973 saw the introduction of the TRANS AM with the 455 SD Super Duty engine, a full on race engine straight from the factory. I had the 1974 version, the final year of production.. Plus the music that era was MUCH BETTER.. And the nation hadn't yet gone insane politically. It has never been out in the snow and it never will be. That’s why after 11 years, it still looks and drives like a brand new car. I’ve upgraded the suspension to a degree that it handles like crazy, even with a solid rear axle. Nice Bilstein HD mono body shocks, Steeda lowering springs, Whiteline anti-sway bars and Watts linkage have transformed its handling. Just need to find an even better set of lower control arms to tame wheel hop. Hopefully something that doesn’t require greasing.

For those that know. Will the internals (bottom end) hold up to the blower adding that much horsepower? Or is it pretty much eaten up after 70k miles? Thanks in advance.
It’ll definitely wear the engine out faster. That being said, the do put more effort into the build quality of Manual Shelby Mustangs, because they know they’re gonna be serious collector’s pieces, rather than used up and thrown away like a GT with an automatic. The Manual will definitely be an improvement to reliability. Really my main concern would be the same concern with all modern vehicles: plastics and electronics in the powertrain and engine bay. ECU’s, EFI pumps, sensors, VVT solenoids, et cetera. But yeah, 100K miles of spirited driving will cause that stuff to start breaking down, and the engine to start burning oil, especially if tuned. So if you get one, change the oil religiously, as if it were a classic Italian exotic V8.
The car seems to occasionally have oil consumption issues that most are willing to accept or ignore. I’m less certain that putting a blower on it is a good idea. They will be highly collectible just at the older ones are. Keep them stock and enjoy them that way. Just my opinion.
You get all the likes for this rant Bill "Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light." Dylan Thomas fast golf carts indeed
Another fantastic video Bill! Thanks for all you do sir. Ford has knocked another Grand Slam with the Shelby GT350. Ford continues to excel with great performance vehicles, Mustang, Bronco Raptor, Raptor F-150, etc.
Love the video Bill!! I’m one of those old school muscle car guys (age 61) and will always be a fossil fuel guy. Have a couple of older Vettes and drive aCTS-V. There may be a plot twist here with electric cars. EV’s aren’t as popular as thought. Current administration is pushing this on us but the buyers are not thrilled with EV’s. Maybe we will have a reversal as EV’s profitability falls and the infrastructure isn’t there for charging. Car companies may then have to return to fossil fuel powered cars to sell and return to profitability. Happy to Ford continuing the Mustang!! Love the sound of this beast!!
I hope so, the e car push is part of agenda 2030 net zero* bullshit (i noticed bill put that bitches face in this video, also should of added schwab), married with central bank digital currency and its programmability for when where and what you can spend it on, open borders, one world govt, all new world order stuff coming out of the EU. Someone's electric car centrally turned off by bureaucrats reminds me of Orwellian dystopia. Stay as much old school (and its freedom) as you can because it may never come back once gone. I think the three big things that will eventually, give it 10 or so years (but i hope not) coerce (like zombies) most people into all this nwo bs is climate change propaganda fear from the left*; price (internal combustion engines and assoc fuel priced out of the market vs govt subsidised affordable e cars and power); and marketing (convenience as a the sales pitch). * ask a hard core greenie lying down on the road in front of a semi what % is CO2 in the atmosphere (it's 0.04%), and of that small amount what's the breakdown of man made vs natural and they wouldn't be able to tell you, because if they could tell you they wouldn't be lying down on the road. How the f can man be contributing to climate change to the extreme level they catastrophize (measured as CO2 in atmosphere) when he only contributes something like 0.2% to the total vs natural (from decaying veg, volcanism) being 99.8%. All towards a gas that only makes up 0.04% of the total atmosphere compared to the mains like oxygen and nitrogen. If we all went back to horse and cart tomorrow the climate would stay as has been with its normal weather cycles like has been for hundreds of years between the glacials and interglacials that occur every few thousands of years. I think the climate agenda thing is more a political agenda than controlling the weather like they seem to think they can do like political weather gods by changing modes of transport. It's the old thing, they sometimes create a "problem" and then come in with their "fix" for that so called "problem" as a form of power. But like you said, the market may have other ideas, in the end the market directs where it goes, political parties can only do so much for the term they're in for despite the shit load of cash (tax revenue) they throw at something.
That hood vista is so reminiscent of the late 60s an early 70s hood looks so good an makes you feel an know you have a powerful an beautiful car under an a yo ass , so nice ford did all this , just so expensive , I could afford the car but the insurance an all that I’d prob struggle , but man I love it an I loved the launch passing the cop cas
The key to that GT350 and whether it’s a diamond or a lemon is the Voodoo V8 and the quality of the supercharger installation since the only available Voodoo blower are aftermarket. It’s a phenomenal car, especially the R version and 2020 and newer in particular due to revised steering geometry. Otherwise, ownership can be a scary proposition due to resonance issues that literally shake things apart - like backing off early oil filters and causing engines to seize. A supercharged Coyote can be a relatively safe bet. Not so much the GT350, but the reward is oh so sweet.
The Tesla got away faster. But you can smile back when he’s still sitting at a charging station when you’re on you way lickety split after filling your tank.

Another classic cheers 🍻
I have a GL63 AMG and a S65 AMG. I thought about moving them but I think I’ll keep them. They both are a dying breed..
I love and appreciate your videos. Mustangs just have never done anything for me.
compared (Mustang) to a small batch of what's better lol?
@@bradford_shaun_murray we always had the Camaro, used to have the Firebird/Trans Am..now with Camaro going away it looks like the Challenger is it…not a fan of either.
At the end of the video it sounds like the Mustang in the movie Bullitt.
This one was as much or more fun than the Scatpack widebody Bill reviewed a while back. I think this calls for a review of a Hellcat or Demon!
I always appreciate one of Bill's 'quick takes' 😁❤️
Your videos are ALWAYS a treat on the weekend with breakfast. Thanks!!!
Could not agree with you more Bill! Great job as always, thanks
I could’ve sworn the guy you passed at 90 mph on the motorcycle with the gold-colored helmet was a cop. But apparently not, since you are a free man.
GREAT VIDEO Bill! Awesome from start to finish! I love the Mustang. I am a Automobile Sales Professional for Ford. 26 years in sales.
You get all the likes for this rant Bill
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light." Dylan Thomas fast golf carts indeed
Love the black and red, gotta be able to roll through the gears to call it an automobile!!
I love this car and review and the Marcy Playground on the stereo - I live about two blocks from it
That hood vista is so reminiscent of the late 60s an early 70s hood looks so good an makes you feel an know you have a powerful an beautiful car under an a yo ass , so nice ford did all this , just so expensive , I could afford the car but the insurance an all that I’d prob struggle , but man I love it an I loved the launch passing the cop cas
Bill- you hit a home run with this video!
This car… rear tires cannot survive long. Im in! Man. What a machine.
The Tesla got away faster. But you can smile back when he’s still sitting at a charging station when you’re on you way lickety split after filling your tank.
I’ve never heard a woman remark how fast a Tesla felt nor how appealing they thought they were….
Well said Bill!! As always! While completely uncalled for, this Mustang represents the muscle car. And yes I love Ford for keeping the V8 Crown Vic alive for as long as they did.
Well done Bill!
Initial rant to the 10-minute mark: Best one so far!
Its a BEAUTY!!!!😻👀👁️👁️
I absolutely agree 100% with you on everything that you said in the first ten minutes, I enjoyed the whole experience, but wanted to say thank you for your honesty and truthfulness, absolutely spot on, keep the videos coming,, I look forward to seeing the next episode..

Yep, definitely a hot car, but as for me, I'd still rather have a '76 Fleetwood with an LS,.. or at least somebody that knows how to make the factory engine howl. ; ) I heard if you open up the top end so they can breath, they are easily capable of 500 hp. I enjoyed the video as usual. Thanks Bill!!
Get rid of the smog pump, port and polish the heads, intake manifold, cam, swap in a nice 4 barrel Edelbrock, open element air cleaner, headers, and dual exhaust.......That 500 block will wake up.
Bill, another excellent fun video. Thank you and keep them coming
Grady judge says old cry babies do not deserve to drive such a machine!!!
Love ya..keep em coming
Bill is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy
The Camaros and Challenger’s are just too big heavy. Long live the Mustang!!!🏇I love it….perfect in every way…
Just to be clear...you said Aural and not Oral? Please confirm
Looking good, thank you!
