Rodney and Cassandra are one of the most realistic married couples in sitcom history. Both can be childish and you understand both of their points of view
@@christopherhorner-ox4xn it has nothing to do with her being female, I am just speaking the truth not my fault you can’t handle it is it. Personally the show went down hill when it when from it 30mins length to the longest show length
I think it was mainly because he hadn’t had anything to eat since breakfast as he couldn’t get out for lunch because of a work meeting. Also I agree with Rodney that there’s no point in having an oven if it’s never used.
I met Gwyneth who plays Cassandra at a comic con. And she signed my dvd and I have a photo with her. And she’s probably my favourite person I have ever met.
Modern day women with careers where they bring the career home in the partnership. One cannot sustain a marriage when the competitor is your employer who governs your financial life. Too many veriables that don't belong.
@@vanessalouise8988I think it’s was mainly because Cassandra was basically making her entire life all about her work. I myself don’t understand people (no matter what gender) who want their whole lives to centre around their jobs.
@@ThunderForce2000 Cassandra was a workaholic she wanted a career Rodney didn't fully understand that🙄 they did have teething problems in their marriage when he kept running home to Nelson Mandela House. 🏠
This was before football was regularly on TV and there was only four channels. Most husbands these days would be in heaven if there wives were out every night leaving them home alone. 😍
The subtle, running joke with Rodders struggling with lids (brought up again when back at Mandela House) is terrific

Mr and Mrs Brockman (Outnumbered) leave the chat….
Rodney got really grumpy with Cassandra because she wouldn't cook anything for his tea
i don't blame him.

Poor little Rodney
Cassandra calling Rodney childish then 30 seconds later saying “you started it”
He never could work them screw tops, could he lol.

@@sallyjoan *gasp* my secret shame
Cassandra and Raquel ruined the show, they turned Ofah's in Birds of a Feather.

Let her enjoy herself now: plenty of time together in latter years stuck indoors. Life is about getting out and having fun fun fun whilst still young.
@@marlisamalloy-ye9xmno it is not about that

No harm to Cassandra but she really didn't bring much humour to the show.Moaning and whining all the time.
Good point I see what u mean
And she can't act.
This relationship was the worst introduction to the best comedy series of all time.
Rodney was resentful because Cassandra was a woman who wanted her own career.

she was in minder before this
Yet they broke up
Exactly,Rodney and Cassandra break up more than 3 times in the Only Fools and Horses episodes
