Katrin, your presentations are wonderful. You're doing great work, and passing on the more important ideas about composition, color, texture, etc., in such a humble and relaxing way. Very easy to watch and listen to. Thank you, and thanks to B&H for hosting this!
This was FABULOUS!!! I love your style and vision and that like me, you don't care for a tripod....Yippie, and your reflections are stunning. Great presentation. Thank you Katrin...
These informations are so valuable! Your work is GREAT, your words are inspiring and you have a gracious sense of humor. One of the best lessons in photography that I ever found here in TH-cam. THANK YOU!
B and H I really love you! Because of your Event space videos and this kind of video's I learned sooo much. I watched most of them last 3 years and there is nothing that helped me so much as this kind of video's. I hope you guys will keep doing this for many many years!
First time I've seen Katrin and was amazed. Love the images and the presentation and especially her attitude about taking images. As a semi-advanced amateur 81 year old Sony shooter, I would love, love, love to be on a shoot with her!!
These are wonderful pictures and amazing presentation. Does everyone know what lenses Katrin used for the Sony A7R in Cuba trip?? I'm looking for a travel lens for my A7 but still have no idea which one is good.
She had mentioned that she was using a 35mm lens. There a few options but I would recommend the Sony Sonnar T* FE 35mm f/2.8 ZA Lens if you prefer a fixed, or the Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens which is an excellent option for both landscape/cityscape or street photography. bhpho.to/29f1TCl bhpho.to/29f1XlE *Andrea
For the same problem I have now, ... the Carl Zeiss HOLOGON 16mm F8 Contax G lens, and the ....Sony FE 55mm F1.8 ZA Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* lens. I have now the size and the absolute quality...THE END.
Wasn't enamored of her speaking style, drove me nuts...all those 'okays' and 'alrights' and lame cracks. But some good lessons were offered and the photo were stunning.
This was getting a little tiresome as it went on but i would have tried to persevere to the end. But then you had to have a rather venomous pop at ' The Brits '. Yes we have some history and past attitudes we are far from proud of. But an artistic presentation is not the place to air your racist sounding opinions. I don't recall a 'Brit photographer' mentioning ' Native American ' injustices, ' American Gun Madness ' or the ' American Police ' shooting black people. And if you try to justify your comment as making a historical fact just take a look at the video to see your tone and body language - not nice at all thank you.

Stunning photos! Especially love all the reflections. Any tips on how to bring out reflections as mine often don't come out as wanted..

Beautiful pictures, compositions and colours. Very inspiring. Sadly, the video is cut in the middle of the presentation :--( why?

Sorry but the cubans take no pride in the work the government forces them to do, what are you talking about????
Everything expensive.
