I think Kissin cannot be topped in Tchaikovsky n1, that is all I have to say, Perfection cannot be topped. Also this piece is a masterpiece, the most beautiful piece ever written for piano and orchestra, it's uncanny, it's formidable, 🌹💓💓💓🌹🌹

Could you add the recording information as well (looks like it's 20 years go since Kissin seemed to be in his early 20s)? btw, which orchestra was Seiji conducting? also found another version by Karajan with Kissin (it did not mention which orchestra either, but you can tell from the background it's Berlin philharmonic): th-cam.com/video/bkyTr9fQGiY/w-d-xo.html quite interesting to make a version comparison between two great maestros

小澤との共演を聴いても、まだあのカラヤンとのセッションの方が良いなんて言う人が居る！柔軟なリズム。相手を自分の色に染めようとしない協奏曲の基本。なおかつ小澤の個性的な、ロシア音楽に対するあっさりとしたアプローチ。良い物が見れた事への感謝。ありがとう。
