I FORGOT TO MENTION ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MODS!! Oil catch can! Please, do this MOD first if you get one of these. I will probably edit that in and reupload Or wait until I add some more mods and make a new one. My bad!!
your JB4 tune, is that a "set it and forget it" tune or is there something that needs to be done daily? Im leaning towards that tune but I also dont want to be bothered to have to change things lol. also, can that be installed without any other mods, like air intakes and exhausts ?
@@michaeldennis3028 It can be. It gives you many options. I along with BurgerTuning will highly suggest getting new spark plugs and at least some intakes. I go in more detail on some of my other videos on why. But to answer your question, you could install the JB4 and run map 2 and just leave it there if you are running 93 octane. It will run a lot better. Those other mods (intakes, exhaust) don’t really do anything on their own, power wise, but tuning the car will maximize their effectiveness. You could probably get away with no mods and putting the JB4 in map 1 , but the power gain will be minimal. The hype is map 3 + where the real power that you can feel comes to play and the plugs and mods are essential.
@@twn2rbo Thank you brother. I just ordered plugs and intake - the JB4 will come soon after. in your opinion, what should I gapped the plugs at? I believe you stated 22 with the tune. since im not getting the tune for a while, will 22 run ok that way or should it be gapped higher, like 28 ish. thanks again and sorry for all the questions. just wanna do this right.
@@michaeldennis3028 .22 seems a little aggressive unless you plan to turn up the boost quite a bit. .24 seems to be the most common sweet spot with the JB4. I will note, that I just have intakes and exhaust so I ordered the HKS M45ils and just threw them in without touching the gap. I think I read they come at .26, but again I’ve never had an issue and it’s been 10k miles now of hard use.
@@twn2rbo Again, thank you for your time replying, greatly appreciated. So right now I'm getting the Injen Intakes and the HKS M45iL plugs. a gap of .24 is ideal or only with the JB4 tuner?
My best Stinger modification is my new license plate which reads STINGRR. I have the impression that the car is now running even faster since I installed it. It cost me $94 here in CT.
They got it right straight out of the box. No need to mess with it as a daily driver. If you are into weekend competition, the sky is the limit, as it is with most cars these days.
I really tip my hat young man. I'm in Calgary Canada and have a 2021 GT2 Thunder Gray AWD.. Ive had my share of really nice cars. I love this car and i love your videos and tips. I guess I have a lot of work and fun ahead of me. Thanks for your effort.
My 1st mod was AEM intake than JB4 tune with plug upgrade. Next I had to sell my 4 Wheeler to buy the Mishimoto Intercooler kit with merge pipe. my 2020 stinger gt2 was doing 12.13 at a 115 miles an hour In a quarter mile. After hearing your car in prior videos.. I really love the sound of it. I will definitely be ordering that tomorrow. Thanks for your advice on the exhaust
Awesome! Yeah you will love that MBRP pro! If you order from K8 tell Daniel I sent you :) but anyways the MBRP sounds even better in person. You always have the option to make it even louder with downpipes, but I think it perfect for a daily. How do you like that intercooler? I’m thinking of Mishimoto or BMS.
@@twn2rbo I love that intercooler kit. My intake temperatures never go above 107 even sitting in traffic. And way better top end . Definitely worth the money
Tbh all I would ever modify to this car is the exhaust to make it louder and some cosmetic mods like the hood with a real vent or something like that The car on stock version is good enough for me😍
It's crazy that this car isn't modified more. I feel like this car's forgotten in the performance industry when it has a crazy amount of potential. There's no reason it wouldn't be just as fast as the new Supra.
If you think about it, it’s a smart move on the manufacture to program that into the engine. It keeps it from blowing up. But it does suck to have to shut it off and turn it back on. I’d rather do that than be stranded with something broke 😂
If you have catless primaries with a free flow exhaust like the borla system u overboost and have a chance of going into limp even with the jb4, you gotta use a vpn and change to a different country then turn on Passive Delete on the WMI page to bypass it. (Although a ecu tune will fix that by its self i heard) FBO with Bov’s and a CPI Kit, just waiting for Lap3 stage 3 TCU now. I need bigger tires😳.
I've been watching your videos for a minute and I think I've watched this video 5+ times and I'm finally pulling the trigger on the intakes they just sound to good. Keep it up
I may look into it, I def want to lower it . Debating on doing bags. Bags are nice to help raise the car pulling into driveways etc and lowering the center of gravity for handling. I’m not big on driving fast around corners, I enjoy the digs and rolls over everything and the car actually handles pretty good for the driving I do. Something to consider though and yes, those are common suspension mods that make a big difference.
That was the first thing I did. I felt the same way bro! I got mine Jan 21 brand new, I worked up the nerve to do the intakes and that sound was amazing! You could always remove them since car is under warranty when you take it in. But you do have to weigh out the risk, they could void the warranty and it is a lot of work removing things. People will say don’t worry about it bc of the Magnuson Moss Act, but that will only come in to play during expensive litigation that would prob cost more than to just fix something. I’m a mortgage underwriter by profession so I think worse case scenario sometimes lol. No regrets though 😅
@@michaeldennis3028 for sure, thanks for the support man. I’ll keep updating on stuff , both good and bad. I do have the hatch rattle back and the squeak noise when shutting the car off and tapping on the throttle. I’m taking it in to Kia after I do this M3 competition video this weekend. Hopefully it goes through and doesn’t rain
@@twn2rbo Kia will fix that tapping, right? as far as rattling, ive traded in cars in the past that were less than a year old because the rattling couldn’t get fixed 😂 no joke! The stinger is a beautiful car! you’re doing amazing work on it!
@@michaeldennis3028 oh yeah, it’s a known issue with these cars. It actually happened when I had 240 miles on the car, they came and picked my car up and had it fixed in a few hrs. But it’s back and it may be due to my insane sound system I put back there from time to time that flexes everything in the car lol 😂
I really Love Korean vehicles, I own three of them. 2006 Hyundai Tucson, 2012 Hyundai Azera, and 2019 Genesis G70 3.3.T, all purchased new. I have never been embarrassed about being seen driving them. Yet ,it seems some people are embarrassed about being seen driving a Kia! I keep seeing people with the aftermarket K badge that looks like a Lexus emblem. Yesterday I had to laugh because I saw the aftermarket k badge on a Kia Telluride! I'm use to seeing the aftermarket k badge on a Kia Optima ,a Sportage, but now a Telluride? I even saw a Kia Optima with a Genesis badge on the trunk. With what Kia/Hyundai/Genesis are doing with their vehicles, no one should be embarrassed about being seen in a Korean vehicle. Korean vehicles are The Sh_t! You will be getting a lot of attention when driving one. I been getting compliments since I purchased my 2012 Hyundai Azera and when driving my 2019 Genesis G70. I came very close to purchasing the Kia Stinger Gt. The only reason I didn't, was because I needed a personal vehicle. I didn't need the passenger or cargo space. So when deciding which one to choose, just ask yourself if you need the passenger and cargo space? If you do, please choose the Kia Stinger Gt. The Kia Stinger 4 cylinder is bad ass too. If you are purchasing a personal vehicle, then consider the Genesis G70. Because I own a Hyundai Tucson SUV, and a large sedan, Hyundai Azera, passenger and cargo space are not an issue. Kia Stinger Gt is one beautiful car. So many different mods available for them, that way you can make yours You!
I agree, Kia has made strides since the 90’s and reinvented themselves. They even designed a new logo, which I’ve seen on the 2022 Stinger. The main reason people put the E badge on the Stinger is because they come with it in South Korea, so it’s more of a heritage / make it stand out. However, I would agree with you as the Stinger is facing being discontinued for low sales. I think the main reason for that is it is a Kia and the price . For those of us who grew up in the 80’s know Kia’s use to burn oil and catch on fire and we’re known for being a “economic brand” , but they have made strides since this and have landed theirselves on the top 3 most reliable car list, Lexus of course being #1 and that is impressive.
@@twn2rbo I totally agree! But the aftermarket badge that I'm referring to, looks like the Lexus logo, not the E badge sold in south korea. People need to wake up, the Korean Trio ranks high on the reliability list. If they don't know, they should know.!
I’ve seen people do them and the results are not impressive. I don’t think it would harm it if done correctly, but the best way to get it off would be to walnut blast it.
Absolutely! I put that in the description since I forgot to mention it in this video. Oil Catch Can would be the first mod I would recommend for this engine platform, mods or not.
Bruh I love my GT1… I’m on air, stillen intakes, ark exhaust no bov because it’s also bottom of my list. Looking at a catch can and exterior Mods like a front lip, diffuser, side splitters, spoiler, snorkels.
That’s awesome bro! Def get a catch can asap. I forgot to mention that in this vid. That would be the first mod I would recommend being a GDI. It help delay the inevitable excessive carbon build up. I would love to be bagged too man, I like the concept I can raise it up when pulling in steep inclines with that front lip plus it prob rides awesome. Snorkels will be coming, that engine bay gets hot AF!
Hey dude I love your videos. I just got my 2023 GT2 and loving it. Getting the same intakes next week and snorkels. I noticed that half way through the video you said you're going to take it to the dealer but without the intakes. My dealer said the intakes won't cause a warranty issue. So you are going to remove the intakes before you take it to the dealer? Just curious? Thanks bro.
You will love it! I use to, but now I don’t. If you go in for maintenance there’s no reason for them to say anything or search around your engine dept. however, they could take pics and notes so keep that in mind, modding a warranty is a risk and there is no answer to that bc each dealer is different, some will install JB4s other want to void for carbon spoiler and exhaust like my second dealer experience. I reccomd you check that vid out of mine
Watching your video makes me want one now😂 I am lookin into getting a car for better gas mileage cause my truck is terrible on gas and driving it back and forth to work and filling it up once to twice a week is ridiculous 😂
You would be surprised if you take it easy , this engine is very efficient having two turbos. I’ve gotten 30’s HWY and high 20’s avg city. I’ve also had 12.2 avg many times 😂 thanks man 👊
@@twn2rbo I can deal with high 20s it takes me about 20 minutes or so to get to work and it’s mainly highway. Hell my truck averages 14.3 to 14.6 on a good day 😅
Sadly I sold my Stinger--the price jumped and I decided to buy a Mazda CX-30 Turbo and pocket 10k.KIA/Hyundai need to make a KONA N with the 3.5 TT and keep it in the 50k area and I am all in.CUV are the way to go because the extra ride height stops front skirt and rim damage.I also had 3 flats in the year i owned the Stinger--more then any car I have ever owned and all were nails that easily punctured the low profile tires. No reliability problems though--I would buy another KIA product if they make something niche again in the future or add AWD to a KONA and Give it 300 HP plus.
First mod was intakes, no issues. Second mod was the MBRP and between the two it was building more boost than the car could handle from time to time. When the OE ECU sees that it signals over boosting and places it in limp mode to protect it. So then I put HKS plugs in reading the OE plugs could be the culprit, but it didn’t work. The JB4 fixed it and I haven’t seen limp mode since then.
@@westcoaststinger6969 I would for peace of mind, that away you can just enjoy it. I also never mess with any of the settings. They have put a lot of work in the provided maps. People try to squeeze a few extra HP with the custom map settings and end up having problems. Map 3 is my all time fav and pulls the hardest for me. I’m a little conservative on the e30 mix bc I don’t have the flex fuel kit from BurgerTuning YET lol. But 3 gallons of e85 and rest 93oct in map 3 is an absolute beast!
I need to get a catch can and camera mounted is there a good place you trust to install your mods? We're in Indianapolis is the best place to get the stinger serviced have had a few issues with service departments east and North..
Honestly I have done all my mods myself. It’s a little more work, but I also remove them when I take it in every 5k miles for service to the dealer. I would start by just googling some performance shops or get into the Midwest Facebook groups and post that question if you are not comfortable wrenching. Im a mortgage underwriter so I just did a lot of research and watched TH-cam videos on how to do the installs etc. it’s not too bad honestly.
That’s PlastiDip. I did that first to see how I would like the matte look, but I’m probably going to have it wrapped professionally. I tried wrapping the side mirrors and it was a lot tougher than I thought. I also attempted wrapping the side vents and I almost got one to turn out good, but that will need to be left to to pros lol. I also plan to replace some of the black chrome parts with real carbon fiber eventually. But if you plasti dip, make sure you clean the surface well with isopropyl alcohol then apply at least coats so it doesn’t bubble or peel, that will also make it easier to come off when you want to remove it
@@twn2rbo The mods done so far is the intakes.. I have the Eibach lowering springs and anti sway bars on order and I have the spark plugs but haven't installed yet.. A little apprehensive in doing that because of the passenger side tight fit.

Sway bar links do wonders on this big and heavy car for sure, I’m more of a roll and dig person and don’t take corners really fast, so I think lowering it alone will probably suffice, but I’m all for improving handling so I may install some for a video in the spring time

Hey buddy! Nope, on the north side. It’s been awhile since I’ve been down to the south side. I remember the car scene off East street towards downtown use to be insane on the weekends.
I can’t agree with the injens over the K&N’s. I don’t like how Injen didn’t provide heat shielding, when the K&N’s are just as loud with the heat shielding coming stock for better reliability. Everything else is looking great brotha. I have a awd GT1 and love it
@@twn2rbo I just don’t want to see peoples intakes in a bad situation there’s a lot of head build up under the hood especially since the hood vents aren’t functional. There’s a reason the oem ones come with the shields ya know? I hope you find some!
@@PCSkate401 yeah I mention that concern in a lot of my vids, the amount of heat this engine produces is insane! The snorkels helped out tremendously, I have before and after data showing the IATs even lowered an avg of 10-13 degrees. When removing the factory air boxes, the system totally changes and it’s move of a vacuum, the factory one is the true cold air system. I think the heat shields will help a little
You ever have any worries about sucking up water easier with the Injen intakes than stock intakes? Thinking about getting a stinger soon and doing similar mods to what you have.
How easy is the JB4 install , does it affect the vehicle as a daily driver ? have a 2012 GT2 with Injen intakes and an ARK exhaust , would love a few more HP but my wife drives the car daily ..
Waste-gate actuator rod , I put some high temp grease on it and it went away but it’s back. I’m going to see if this other Kia dealership will fix it next service and do an update
To be honest I would go with any reputable brand. The actual brand will make a minimal difference if any on sound / performance. The type of filter cleaning system would be my deciding factor. Ex, The Injen has a dry filter and K&N has oil cleaning system.

Awesome!!! Well yeah the mpg will def drop more when driving aggressive, on the other hand I’ve got 34mpg in map 1 eco mode on the highway, it’s more efficient when driving normal with reg 93 octane. E30 is a different story, it will burn gas fastttttt

One dealer yes, original dealer no. It’s very case by case when it comes to that. I’ve made a couple videos now taking it to dealer and my experience. The last one I made I took it there with everything on except the JB4 and throttle tune
BROO! I have a huge question and hope you respond. Mine does that squeak noise and all it has is K&N drop in filters. It’s a 3.3tt kia k900 which is the same exact engine as the stinger. Everytime I shut the engine off and step on the accelerator, I do notice it. I wanted to know, is it a serious problem or very normal?
It’s the wastegate actuator rod squeaking, I’ve been dealing with it for last 10k miles. Kia wants to replace the entire turbo which makes no sense, but to answer you question it is not detrimental to the turbos / engine. Just a major annoyance unfortunately. I’m going to see about taking it somewhere else to have it adjusted
i mean it should depend on how you drive. If you are constantly flooring it, then worse. If you are only sometimes flooring it, prob the same, and if you barely floor it, then better mpg
I’ll keep you posted on exactly what it is. I’m going to make them document it and I’ll make a vid. 300 more miles and I’m dropping it off. I have dug into it a little and found it to be sort of common, but not detrimental. I’ve been hearing that for awhile now, but been putting it off until the next service. Hatch rattle is back too. 😂
@@robertb6135 I hope so. Either way will have them fix it and report to you guys. It’s embarrassing when I want to do video and rev it and then you hear a squeak or when you pull up and people and checking the car out and then you turn it off and … squeak lol 😂 😂
Dude I’ve been looking at some sick black wheels, I’ve also checked out some black stinger with bronze / black wheels that look sick. I can’t wait to find the perfect set!
Yes, the JB4 fixed it and it has not done that since. The issue was over boosting, when I put the intakes and exhaust on it was colder out. Map 0 disables the tune but allows you to read the boost still. I was hitting 17 lbs of boost with just the intakes and exhaust. The factory ECU recognizes that as a threat and places the car in limp mode to protect it. Once I added the JB4, problem solved. This has been my experience. Any tune would help, I just like the JB4 for the simplicity and having all the data and control with my phone via Bluetooth
@@twn2rbo coz im curious, i really like to get mbrp exhaust i currently have a jb4 i am worried that it will do the same to me, did u have to put it in map0 just to fix limp mode?
I have read a couple different things on the threads, but I will have to update you as to exactly what it is once I get my car back. I haven’t really tried to diagnose it since the service is due in 300 miles.
Limp mode is a built in safety from the factory that accesses the ECU and TCU to reduce boost to 0 and speeds. It can also shut off AC and other various items depending on the make and model. It usually activates when it detects something is very wrong and enables to protect it from blowing something up. So if you add mods, it’s always good to tune the car afterwards. Since the JB4 it hasn’t happened
Depuis la France 👍 Superbe voiture entièrement en black... Actuellement, je suis très content de ma proceed et je rêve un jour d'avoir une Stinger GT...
Regardless of what anyone says, it CAN void a warranty, but probably wouldn’t. That is very dependent on the dealer you take your car to. I made a video on a dealer experience and if you happen to get a dealer like that first one I went to, they wouldn’t fix any issues I had until the car was returned to stock. Keep in mind I pulled up with just a catback on. Long story but I told it in the vid. Some people will state the Magnuson Moss Warranty act, which is a thing, but that is for litigation in the court room, which history shows people vs large corporations usually don’t win. In most cases it would be cheaper to pay for the repair than it would an attorney. Most dealers are cool and intakes and exhaust will not void a warranty, but if an expensive turbo needed replaced or something major , best believe they will go through it with a fine tooth comb and try to avoid the repair. Again, some internet tales will say else wise, but I want you to understand it is a risk at the end of the day.
@@younggg_dre05 yeah man, I was pissed off bc after I purchased mine brand new , 3 months later they announced the refresh. At the time the GT2 still had a better screen, I got stuck with a screen from 2001 lol. But it’s all good , I’m happy with it
I plasti dipped it for now. I wanted to see what matte black would look like. I think I’m going to replace all the parts with carbon fiber or have them wrapped though.
There are two diverted valves that you cannot hear, they recirculate and don’t vent to atmosphere. But I’m not interested in running them yet, the intakes made the turbo noises a joy! Once I up the boost or get bigger turbos down the road, I will get some to help the efficiency
I have an 18 premium did the Injen intake at 3k rpm it sounds amazing it was way too quiet and less fun before it. I'm trying not to void warranty can I get away with catback exhaust? 🤔
@@chrisflanc2885 to be honest it really just depends. People will throw the magnuson moss act out but that will only come in handy in the courtroom. Kia litigation would prob cost more compared to fix something. I tell everyone when modding to prepare for a void worse case. Now some dealers will install a catback and other mods and there is a less chance of a car back causing a void imo, but I wouldn’t pull up with a tune or intakes. That’s just my 2 cents.
Did not for me, only after I placed the car back on it did. Which makes sense, I did a map 0 run in JB4 and with intakes / cat back I was 3.5 lbs over OEM max boost therefore it went limp.
I can see your predicament there, personally I love those STIs, always have. But I would go with the stinger hands down. You can get a subie modded out to be very fast, but they have some issues from what I’ve read when you mod high. There’s no replacement for displacement and starting with 3.3L vs 2.5 single turbo, you will be better off w stinger. Also, reliability is amazing on these things. I’ve seen 600wheel hp and the trans is still fine. Sti does sound awesome , but that’s my answer and opinion.
@@chrisflanc2885 I think that will shoot the value up even more. Used car prices are insane right now! I can get what I paid for this thing with 10k on it and it’s a performance car. That blows my mind since the residual value on sports cars tank (bc of people like me that mod them) 😂.

It’s a built in protection inside the ECU that cuts off all boost, so when you floor it almost all the power is gone. You can still drive though , but it feel likes a Geo Metro until you shut it off and turn it back on. It’s actually a good thing for auto manufacturers to protect the engine. It doesn’t happen all the time, but once in awhile it will overboost. Since I’ve had the JB4, it has only happened one time. It was happening a lot before I got it tuned with intakes and exhaust. The turbos were spooling up very fast and it was cold

Very cool! I haven’t seen that plate yet 🔥

Appreciate the support! Enjoy it, the car is a legend in the making 👊
@@michaelellis2775 agree, a must have when modding and running higher boost with e30. Heat destroys everything, so good advice 👊
Tbh all I would ever modify to this car is the exhaust to make it louder and some cosmetic mods like the hood with a real vent or something like that
The car on stock version is good enough for me😍
Yeah it really is a nice car as is with plenty of power.
Only mod I ever do to any car is window tints.
It's crazy that this car isn't modified more. I feel like this car's forgotten in the performance industry when it has a crazy amount of potential. There's no reason it wouldn't be just as fast as the new Supra.
It def takes the mods well and there’s a ton out there in a short period of time. This car will def go down in the books in 20+ years from now 👊
I had my first Limp Mode scare a few days ago after pushing it at a few stop lights. Scared the crap outta me.

If you think about it, it’s a smart move on the manufacture to program that into the engine. It keeps it from blowing up. But it does suck to have to shut it off and turn it back on. I’d rather do that than be stranded with something broke 😂
Nice build bro , looks super clean. I’ve been looking at these myself 🔥
Thanks! I have a 2018 GT2 and this is very informative.
If you have catless primaries with a free flow exhaust like the borla system u overboost and have a chance of going into limp even with the jb4, you gotta use a vpn and change to a different country then turn on Passive Delete on the WMI page to bypass it. (Although a ecu tune will fix that by its self i heard)

TCU is going to be a game changer man! I can’t wait. So far I haven’t overboosted or gone “limp” 😂 knock on wood.

Have you or are you considering front and/or rear sway bars? I’ve seen folks install them who are very happy with the eibach bars.
Stinger looks great bro. Which front splitter did you get? I like that one
man, i love these videos. ill admit, im chicken shit when it comes to modding my 22’ GT1. all i did was tint the windows to start lol.

Have you ever done a Spray intake valve cleaner? I just got the catch can and I’m thinking of doing this so I know all is good!
Definitely do it. I had issues with my jb4 until i cleaned it. Now my stinger runs great
CRC has the best reviews. What did you use?
I’ve seen people do them and the results are not impressive. I don’t think it would harm it if done correctly, but the best way to get it off would be to walnut blast it.
Damn I should’ve gotten my mbpr exhaust welded too. I bought some third party exhaust tips and the exhaust fitment is a bit out of whack.
Your local muffler shop should be able to help assist you, even if you installed it all yourself.
What kind of gains do u think u got from ur bolt-ons? What was the stick lbs of boost and what is it now w the programmer?
Oil catch cans for long term valve care?

Whoot whooot 👊👊🔥 Yeah I’m starting to see a couple here and there now. What color combo do you have?
my dad has the same one u do and its so amazing and fast were going to be doing so mods to it soon but the the refreashed model
Question why did u go into limp mode and how did u get out of that situation?
First mod was intakes, no issues. Second mod was the MBRP and between the two it was building more boost than the car could handle from time to time. When the OE ECU sees that it signals over boosting and places it in limp mode to protect it. So then I put HKS plugs in reading the OE plugs could be the culprit, but it didn’t work. The JB4 fixed it and I haven’t seen limp mode since then.
I’m in! So jb4 intake and spark plugs install all at once! Would be better choice for now
@@westcoaststinger6969 I would for peace of mind, that away you can just enjoy it. I also never mess with any of the settings. They have put a lot of work in the provided maps.
How did you darken your grill and especially the chrome strip over the windows ..I would like to do that to my Stinger

What's the mpg with the JB4 upgrade?? Eco and sport?? Thanks in advance
i mean it should depend on how you drive. If you are constantly flooring it, then worse. If you are only sometimes flooring it, prob the same, and if you barely floor it, then better mpg

Is the steering wheel on the left size? What country is this from?
Yes, United States
What did the say the squeak was. I have the same problem. I thought it was normal
I have read a couple different things on the threads, but I will have to update you as to exactly what it is once I get my car back. I haven’t really tried to diagnose it since the service is due in 300 miles.
Thanks
What’s limp mode over boosting?
Limp mode is a built in safety from the factory that accesses the ECU and TCU to reduce boost to 0 and speeds. It can also shut off AC and other various items depending on the make and model. It usually activates when it detects something is very wrong and enables to protect it from blowing something up. So if you add mods, it’s always good to tune the car afterwards. Since the JB4 it hasn’t happened

Superbe voiture entièrement en black...
Actuellement, je suis très content de ma proceed et je rêve un jour d'avoir une Stinger GT...
Merci, mon ami 👊
Are the intakes approved without voiding the warranty?
What year is your stinger I’m looking to buy one
2021 GT AWD, it’s a great car man
@@twn2rbo I was gonna get the 2022 for the bigger screen
@@younggg_dre05 yeah man, I was pissed off bc after I purchased mine brand new , 3 months later they announced the refresh. At the time the GT2 still had a better screen, I got stuck with a screen from 2001 lol. But it’s all good , I’m happy with it
Hey bro what did you delete the black chrome with
I plasti dipped it for now. I wanted to see what matte black would look like. I think I’m going to replace all the parts with carbon fiber or have them wrapped though.
2:45 that stiuuuuu
Just go for the LAP3 turbo upgrade. :/
Excited to see what the future hold bro! I might just go stupid with it who knows 💯👊👊
It sounds like there is a blow off valve when you let off because there is two of them actually
What’d you use to black out the chrome??
I originally was going to wrap it but it didn’t look that good so I just plasti dipped it and it still looks great , I used matte black
My best Stinger modification is my new license plate which reads STINGRR
Love it!
Slap so rims on this thing my guy!

How did you get the E badge?
You can order it through Kia, or K8 Stinger store has them.
How did you fix the overboost problem?
JB4
@@twn2rbo Does the overboost happen with just Injen intakes ?
Did not for me, only after I placed the car back on it did. Which makes sense, I did a map 0 run in JB4 and with intakes / cat back I was 3.5 lbs over OEM max boost therefore it went limp.
@@twn2rbo thanks for the reply. Appreciate your knowledge
Subie Sti Or a Stinger help me decide !
Easy stinger if you wanna be fast
I can see your predicament there, personally I love those STIs, always have. But I would go with the stinger hands down. You can get a subie modded out to be very fast, but they have some issues from what I’ve read when you mod high. There’s no replacement for displacement and starting with 3.3L vs 2.5 single turbo, you will be better off w stinger. Also, reliability is amazing on these things. I’ve seen 600wheel hp and the trans is still fine. Sti does sound awesome , but that’s my answer and opinion.
Get the Stinger before they're gone discontinued after 2022 models...😭 shifting to EV platform
@@chrisflanc2885 I think that will shoot the value up even more. Used car prices are insane right now! I can get what I paid for this thing with 10k on it and it’s a performance car. That blows my mind since the residual value on sports cars tank (bc of people like me that mod them) 😂.
Stinger all day
You in the Indy Stinger group on fb?
I joined a few of the Stinger groups on FB. I’ve never had social media before this channel, so I mainly get on IG for the pics and communication with people. I think I am though 😅
I'm in Indy as well, just got the 2021 Stinger GT2 last week and I would love to talk to you regarding to some mods if you don't mind. Would love to meet up but don't see lots of traction with ppl wanting to meet up from the group.

Yes, thar info is also in the description of the video.
Arent Radar Detector's illegal??
Looks like VA and DC are. A few states prohibit items hanging from windshield, but IN they are legal as well as most other states. Below is the latest legal info pertaining to your question though.

What lip is that
Just an eBay / Amazon special. Was only a $110 painted and the gloss black matches it so well. Never had an issue with it either
what badge is that
It’s from KIA Motors in South Korea. These cars are made there and come with this badge there as well.
hello 👋 I'm one of your fans and your car please I have stinger can you send me an ecu because it's too hard to get buy one in my country it is too expensive I just want to try it any thing you don't use right nowlike jb4 or lozic or any thing I will be grateful and thankful
Contact Lozic ECU on Instagram 😁
my doors unlock and lock when I walk up or walk away from the car 😏
Not a fan of the E logo. I put the Korean K and it looks way better.
Right on! Yeah that’s subjective, I had that one at first but then the E grew on to me when I found out they come this way from South Korea. The steering wheel is round over there like the hood, but I don’t really wanna replace the whole center piece w air bag for it lol
What is limp mode? Lol
Rhoto!
That's hard, dog?
People and their cars 🤣
Tin can budget Mustang styling Korean style total embarrassment to the brand. Rubbish. Overpriced.
