Your "Do it all over" state, is what I have and love it. No issues ever and it just flies. Though I do install the 1.3bar tune on and off, depending on how I feel...
I think this is a wonderful video. Someone did the YT click bait mods and basically wished he didn't. 1:33 Unless you are running ductwork or connecting the housing to pre-plumed ductwork, you are probably running a ram intake/short ram intake. SRIs are snake oil. Do not waste your money. They just suck in warm engine bay air. The Stinger is already "cold air" from the factory. Buy a true cold air intake kit; something like "Kia Stinger - aFe power Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System." True CAI, tuner, exhaust, and *tires*. Unless you delete cats, you're mostly just changing the sound. An engine is an air pump; get air in, get air out.
Thanks so much! The video did well and I got some more stinger builds to reach out. I will meeting with them to do similar build / launch / drag type vids. Stinger is such an awesome car , esp for the price
You’d be shocked how much this thing can handle! TCU I wouldn’t go over stage 1 personally but the trans is a monster, torque limits off it obviously going to be hard on the torque converter but I used it sparingly
Please tell me how to do this. I’m tired of leaving them on when I turn the car off. I tried to find a fuse tap, but can’t find one for advance auto that fits the fuse size.
Just use a voltmeter and a wire mini fuse tap (Amazon) plug it in on an empty fuse socket see if you're getting voltage when the car is on and when the car is off use the one when the car is off when the ignition is off plug the fuse tap in hopefully with a 10 amp fuse that should work at least that's how I did mine.
You gotta swap out the horrible base screen. Cost me 500 total for parts to put in nav and the better gt1/gt2 8" screen. Best thing I've ever done, nice having nav, works great!

Hey man I’d love to ask you a few questions about the lozic tune you had. I’ve been having a few weird issues for lack of a better term that I haven’t quite been able to figure out.
Yeah it would be more efficient with lower intake temps, which is actually better for the engine when tuned. I personally wouldn’t do a FMIC, I’ve seen too many issues for the results they provide. But what are you goals? If in a hot climate and you want max power, WMI would be best and it also provides benefits that counter the direct injection carbon build up and less stress on fuel pump
@@twn2rbo it’s my daily and I live in LA so weather isn’t hot. Just builds up a lot of heat with daily traffic. I haven’t even looked into WMI. Goal is really just to have reliable power for a daily. All I have on right now is AFE intakes and snorkels. Haven’t added exhaust or Jb4 yet.

I have a serious for you. I have a 2018 stinger gt2 and and 2014 optima. Well the service dept I was going to really tried putting the screws to me with my optima. I got an oil change and within two weeks it was leaking antifreeze. Long story short I found two 1 inch coolant hoses with the pinch clamps moved to the middle of the hoses. Not one but two. Now these clamps don’t move on there own. And the time before I had just replace all four brake pads and rotors 6 days prior to them telling me after their so called 9 point inspection that I’m gonna need brakes on my optima after an oil change. Now I’ve always done my own oil changes but was told by the service manager that even if I do my own oil changes and keep all receipts that if something went wrong with the motor that Kia would fight me on it claiming lack of maintenance so I decided to let them change the oil to keep it in the system. Well after all that happened with my mysterious hose clamps moving and bitching at the general manager about it I forbid that service department to touch my stinger so I went to a different Kia service a little further away for an oil change and explained to them that I’m not one to just put gas in my car and drive it. I pay attention to detail including cleaning the motors and told them I’m looking for a service department I can trust. Well I got the oil changed in my stinger and got it home which decided to open the hood just to look around and see if everything was ok only to find my motor cover was still off my stinger motor which was still at that service department!! I about had a stroke!!! I asked them why they would even take the cover off for an oil change and the first guy said that’s in case the spill oil that they wouldn’t want to spill it on the cover. I said oh so you would rather have it spill on the motor!!! BS!! Then I went to get my cover and asked again why it was taken off and the girl said to get access to the oil fill cap which I pointed at it and said you mean this one that is off to the side of the cover?!? She said there are some under the cover and it has to be taken off. Again BS!!! I never saw the oil fill cap under any motor cover. Not that I’ve ever seen but insisted it was just habit. Now my question is is there anything under that cover that someone could have changed or altered in some way to effect the performance of my motor? Any certain type of sensor or chip or anything for that matter that you know of that they could have done? I’m asking cuz I just got this stinger not long ago and am still green when it comes to these motors but I know you do a lot with your stinger. Any suggestions for me to check for a certain thing would put my mind at ease since I’m not trusting any of these service departments around me now!!
