How to Apply for Your B2 Visa - 5 Requirements to Get Your Tourist Visa USA

In this video📹, you’re going to learn the 5 things that you must prove when applying for your B2 visa.
First, a B2 visa allows you to enter the U.S. as a tourist for up to 6 months at a time.
Under U.S. immigration law, everyone who applies for a B2 visa is presumed to want to live, work, and play in the USA permanently. This is called immigrant intent - meaning that everyone applying is presumed to want to immigrate to the USA, permanently. 😱
👉👉👉You have to overcome this presumption by demonstrating 5 things:
✅ that the purpose of your trip is to enter the U.S. temporarily for pleasure,
✅ that you plan to remain for a specific, limited period of time,
✅ that you have money to cover the costs of your expenses in the U.S.,
✅ that you have strong ties to your home country, and
✅ that you intend to leave the U.S. after your trip.
The way you prove all of these 5 things is through providing supporting documentation.
For example, to prove your intent to visit the U.S. temporarily, you should prepare a personal statement✍️ explaining the purpose of your trip and the specific time frame that you intend to visit.
To prove that you intend to visit for a specific period of time, you should purchase a return flight ticket✈️. This also shows your intent to return to your home country.
In addition, you will need to show proof of funds💰 in your bank account to cover the costs of your trip including: lodging, transportation, food, and other expenses.
And, here’s a tip if your money is not in U.S. dollars, you should use a currency converter to calculate the amount of money you have in the bank. Just google currency converter, and then you’d print out and take that conversion table along with your bank statement to the interview.
Also, did you know that not presenting enough proof of strong country ties is one of the main reason’s applicants get denied for a B2 visa.
So proving strong country ties is very important to a successful application.✔️✔️✔️
You can prove strong country ties in a number of ways including:
1️⃣ evidence of employment,
2️⃣ evidence of immediate relatives living with you,
3️⃣ evidence of a lease, mortgage, or deed,
4️⃣ evidence of business certificates or registrations,
5️⃣ evidence of other assets like cars, life insurance, or other assets,
6️⃣ evidence of tax returns, and
7️⃣ other documentation showing strong ties.
Having the proper documentation in place will give you the best chance of getting your B2 visa approved.

For a B-2, you need to show proof of strong family ties, intent to visit US temporarily for pleasure, and evidence of funds to cover costs of expenses in US. Intent to return is shown based on multiple pieces of evidence. For example, you'll need to show assets in your home country such as home, car, bank accounts, etc., show strong ties to your home country such as employment, spouse and children, and show funds in bank account to pay for your trip.
