- FINALE | Ever since I played Super 1-1 World, many people have been asking if there are any other 1-? Super Worlds. And today my friends I am here to tell you...somebody has indeed another one. This 8 world, 40 level super world features 40 levels of the iconic 1-4 from Super Mario Bros...except that every level has a unique twist!

After Carl's level, I have a feeling that Dave goes outside, and the moment he feels wind, he screams and rubs back inside, and that's the real reason he doesn't leave his house.
I kinda wish Dave had just dubbed over the whole thing being all like "I totally didn't forget to turn my microphone on and had to dub over it!"
Hey Dgr! It’s me, the creator of the 1-2 superworld. I have made additional levels as a sort of epilogue and I feel like I really improved the quality of the levels! I would love for you to play them.
And 1-4 creator, you did your best. The first step to improve is to get others to tell you what’s wrong. Keep on making and keep on improving!

personally i would edit world 4-5 to the beginning of the video just so that the progress isn't inconsistent
it doesn't really matter in the context of a Super Mario Maker 2 super world but still

that's because the limit for the Note Block shares the same limit as other "terrain" blocks including ground, hard, brick and ? blocks
this means that placing 1 ground block adds to the limit of all "terrain" blocks that can be placed

That one was part of the last set of videos not in this one. He is missing 1. He had the first level of the sixth world done when the video opens so following the flappy bird level should be 11 more; 5 for world 4, 5 for world 5 and 1 for world 6.
Edit: specifically Bird's eye view is world 2-5 of this series.

I really like how this series is coming along, it's actually something you'd never expect to see but also something you'd like to see at the same time. I'll keep coming back to watch it, no matter how long it goes! Keep it up!

You can only have 3 of the lava snakes on screen at once. And only if you actively block the player from progressing to give the snakes time to activate their sequence

Goombas are mushrooms, but many birds eat other birds, mammals eat other mammals, insects eat other insects, and so on. It's only if the Goombas were eating other _Goombas_ that it'd be cannibalism (though it'd be creepy if they ate Toads or the like).

I love this good old format. Just Dave enjoying the game, no endless pauses and stopping to speak with chat.

25:02 If I recall correctly, the japanese word for "goomba" roughly translates to something along the lines of "chestnut", so its not really unethical for them to be eating mushrooms.

Beyond that, saying a fungus eating another fungus is unethical is sort of like saying an animal eating another animal is unethical.
That, at the beginning, I’m pretty sure you’re not the only one who had a hard time at one level, and then coming back just to beat it the first time back.

Goombas in Japan are called Kuribohs (like the Yu-Gi-Oh card) and are more akin to chestnuts, rather than mushrooms, but it's easy to make that comparison.
They are called that cause they also look like chestnuts, but the manual of the first SMB says they’re “A mushroom who betrayed the Mushroom Kingdom”

I enjoy these variation levels in a super world. The kinda lame levels are balanced by the cool ideas. When they pop up randomly, the lame levels seem even worse.
All you had to do was stay near the power up source DGR!
Most levels were not creative imo. The creator who did the 1-3 series was by faaaar the best one.

Woo this must finally be youtube exclusive content! That in itself makes this worth watching even if I feel like the 1-? but... concept has gotten incredibly stale. I'd rather see the creative ideas put in new levels!
Cows have so many stomachs (4 to be exact) cause there are multiple steps and a long time needed to digest grasses. These yoshis would probably just need one bigger stomach. Though they’d probably need something like a gizzard for bones and stuff 🤓

For Dave's existential crisis about Goombas eating mushrooms I was surprised to learn that in official Nintendo lore Goombas are sentient chestnuts. Their Japanese name means chestnut person if I remember correctly.
Either way, I'm pretty sure Dave eats mammals, despite being a mammal himself...
Official? The SMB manual, in both languages, says they are mushrooms. Also Tezuka on Iwata Asks.
It’s funny cause they say people from Japan are surprised to learn that they are mushrooms, cause of the name and the look.
Galoombas look even more like chestnuts, so who knows what they are…

I made a 1-4 Super World myself, mine is a bit more comedic and forgiving, with level themes such as "but OSHA approved" and "but Bowser is the Hero"
