FINALLY someone takes advantage of a shared wall between pantry and garage and puts in a grocery door! I've seen a few of these in parade of homes tours in my area and they're brilliant! I really hope they catch on and become a common feature. Bravo to the builder! 👏😃 [Edit:] And a wet room in the master bath, too! ❤ I also love the built in library/ display shelves framing the doorway at the top of the stairs. Lots of great features here. (But for $2M there'd better be!) I love this home!
Wow, just wow! This is how a home should be done and designed. I think this has moved into my top 5 of all the homes you have toured. Floor plan and layout is incredible. All the kitchen area and pantry and laundry all right where it should be. Staircase is beautiful but not over the top and using too much space. The powder room away from areas right at front door along with window, perfect. The dual toilets upstairs in the Jack and Jill, perfect. House is beautiful outside and great interior design. Yes if mine I would tweak a few colors and fixtures but overall awesome home. One of the best I have seen!
Absolutely my favorite so far. Love the dedicated entryway, without bedrooms or office off of it. Really nice features. Not over the top but beautiful and functional.
In general, I'm not a big fan of the modern design motif, but this particular house is really nice. The bonus/family room upstairs is pretty cool with the vaulted seeling and all and I really think the pass-through that goes from the garage right into the pantry is a really cool idea.
Absolutely beautiful!!! The layout is great and the flow of the house is so inviting, easy and family-friendly. Love the powder-room off the foyer, and loooove the pantry tucked-away where it is! 😍🙌🏼 So inspirational and full of good design learnings for our upcoming refurbishments and builds! Thank you!
OH!!!! Timothy?? I see why this is your Number 1 🏠🏡!! This Place is MASSIVE!! This looks better that any celebrity 🏠🏡 that I ever seen!! The Upstairs and Downstairs is completely stunning!! From The Living Room to The Bedrooms and Bathrooms are fantastic!! The Kitchen is just fabulous!! The Laundry Room is like a slice of heaven!! And The Backyard, with the pool!! Just WILD!! Its so BIG, that someone can be living there abd you wouldn't even know!! Just Amazing!! You definitely out did yourself with this!! Thank You so very much for sharing this mind-blowing home with us!!
What a privilege also for you to be asked to showcase this home. You do a great job commentating! I don't like the ones real estate agents do where they don't talk and quickly scan around each room before you get a chance to see it. It's frustrating. You take the time you need to show case all of the homes properly and it's very rarely that I miss anything due to you going too fast. Great job, keep up the good work Timothy. Happy New Year to you and your family as well.
I've looked at a lot of homes that I've loved at first and then as I review them again, I started to find things that I'd change but with this home. Nothing! It's perfect as it is.
Thank you for the tours Timothy. I watch bc you never know when you could win the lottery and I love to dream!! Best wishes to you and your family in the New Year!!
Oh Tim, they layout and symmetry in the kitchen is perfection (the double slide out spice/utensils cupboards 🤌) the individual toilets in the Jack & Jill bathroom is genius and I totally agree with you in this one, it’s definitely my #1. The only thing I’d change is add a fire to the outdoor area where the bbq is and put the bbq on the other wall. ❤ Michelle 🇦🇺
The "costco door" is really interesting - truly never seen that before. Almost seems like a dog door, but it's too small. I wonder why they didn't just install a full-size door, or do a pass through at shelf height. Because the garage is lower you could easily put a shelf there and make the whole process of emptying the car easier. All around, what a mystery. Direct access to the pantry is a really nice feature.
I could dance in that foyer!! 😂Love the built ins. I just have a dislike of the tv above the mantle. It’s too high if you are laying on the couch. I like to decorate my mantle. There is no other place for the tv. 😢 Love the area where the kitchen table is. I also would want a very big dining room. Guess I’d have to add that. 😂 I love the back porch and man I love those screens! Not a fan of the tub in the shower behind glass. I wanna watch a movie on tv (or computer) when in the shower. That echo would be annoying. I love so much about this house.
You could have a bluetooth speaker incorporated with the vent fan - I've seen those at Lowe's. We use a portable Bluetooth speaker on a shelf right by the tub. I would want (need) a bigger dining room, too.
I really loved this design. But I still don’t understand why there is no outside door from the laundry room. You would have to walk through the house with a basket of wet washing to hang it out. Never see clothes lines in the back gardens either. Do you tumble dry everything in the USA? In the UK we use the outside to dry washing as much as we can
I love this home, I like how the rooms have more of a sense of separation on the bottom floor, I'm not quite sure that the kitchen has enough upper cabinets for me but I'd have to inspect them for my self. My only thing I wish this home had is a formal dinning room. The second bedroom in the front first floor I like as a guest room with it's own ensuite and truly love the look of the tile they used in the shower. Now for me, I don't like the tub inside the shower enclosure so I would want My master bathroom to have that out of there but still keep the tub. Like you I'm loving the "Costco Door" and glad it has a locking mechanism, I hope the Lock is accessible from the inside. What a great idea and convenience. I would want to delete the built ins alongside the fireplace and change style of the fireplace but love the outdoor living space. The Pantry area was nice and garage Access in good location. The front entrance is nice and love the coat closet and 1/2 bath right there. The upstairs Jack & Jill Bathroom is exactly how I would want it, I've actually seen a home here in Grand Junction with one Don almost exactly like that. Like the exterior design of the home too but always open to looking at other elevations if offered to make sure. Too bad no dog wash room. Unfortunately I'm not liking most of the light fixture choices in this home, I did like two of them for sure but the rest must go. Those double refrigerator/freezer separate units are nice and like the Pop up power outlets. This home is almost what I would want, the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs get very high Mark's. I'd like a version of this home with a formal dining room as well and a nice Den with a cozy fireplace too. The kids upstairs can do their laundry while doing their homework in the same room, smart set up. I liked the green and brown cabinets, I wonder what other choices are available. Thanks for the tour and see what you would have missed because it wasn't on your list, now think back to why it wasn't and maybe in future don't put certain homes off your list. Have a great and very Happy New Year 🎉😊
Raleigh Custom Homes is a bit on the pricey side, but from what I can tell, it's worth it. They look like they build really nice quality homes. I love their outdoor living spaces!
Here in the greater Kansas City area, we too call them Costco doors...lol Builders around here actually put that nomenclature on their features sheets.
Designers need to really stop putting the master closet in the master bathroom. I do like the nice big water closet though where you can really spread out for some power pushes. Just need grab bars on either side of the toilet. Lol. If that secondary room downstairs was going to be a nursery the bathroom definitely needs a tub and not just a shower. But that's a really great idea.
I would just add that I’m not sure why it’s necessary to have a laundry room on the first floor. I would probably use it for a small office and turn the other room down the hall near the Master into a guest bedroom. The front door should be all black inside and out to contrast with all the white in the foyer. Other than that, nice house. I also like that there is no formal dining room at the front. Those are rarely used except for formal occasions so really no longer necessary.
I like ve the lines of this home are country farm house with a modern look the archways are very much the architectural of the early 1900 s my home has the same archways and I love them
Again with the television so far above the fireplace you might as well be looking at the ceiling I don't know why all these new homes do it I would never ever buy a house that is set up like that you know what I mean
I love this home Tim! I only wish it had a basement. Question: why are you ending your videos so abruptly lately? It's kind of rude and unprofessional, but I know you have a plausible reason for it because you don't seem to be either of those things. 🙂
Yeah, I haven't been digging the abrupt endings, myself. 🙁 I miss the little wrap up and farewell that just put a nice little finishing touch and tied it all up neatly and allows your brain a moment to adjust, understand and anticipate the end, rather than it just cutting off so abruptly and unexpectedly when you're so immersed in the tour. Just me?
He hasn't confirmed this but most likely it's because at the end he was doing his new rating system and generally most people did not like that part. So he's just editing it off and as a result the videos have to end abruptly. In the short future we'll see a modified rating system or he'll go back to how he was ending videos before the rating system. But he films these a couple months before they get posted so there's some overlap between the new rating system and people telling him they didn't like it and it wasn't very good.
I figured that was the reason too. That rating thing did not work at all. Was slow and kinda painful to watch so I bet he chopped them off. I’d end with cam back in main area, give a quick overall thank you for watching and list a few things you Liked and leave it at that. And see your beautiful face in the next one😀
I loathe Jack and Jill bathrooms. It would have made more sense to have placed a wall straight down the middle (perpendicular) to the black tub and shower. Then, place two tub/ shower combos on either side of the wall for both upstairs bedrooms. They already have their own toilets and vanity areas. Walla!!!, you now have 2 separate suites upstairs too.
I found more details on this home by going to the website of Raleigh Homes, scroll down to Parade of Homes, click on it, then this home is the sixth one - I am using an iPad FYI - so it maybe a different view on a computer or phone - click on the picture of this home and then all sorts of info comes up.
Wow, good catch. I think the builder expects the homeowner to have it on the counter in the pantry. But you're right, I would want a built-in one somewhere.
I never understand an expensive house with a master closet that has very cheap or no built in cabinets. At this price point it should be standard, it should have drawers for your clothes as well.
Nice house, but not 2 million nice. Maybe in the $500,000 range. My 20 y/o home living room is bigger, bedrooms are the same size basically and cost just over $100,000. Could have saved money by not putting that ugly, whatever it is, in the master hallway on the wall.
There are a lot of expensive finishes in this home and then the builder is up-charging like 100% for them, which is how the price is so inflated. Tim also didn't show any of the exterior of the home. There is a $150k pool in the back and like $40k of fencing surrounding the property. That patio area is easily $100k too. So many little things also that just add up all those pennies. For example, the custom built closets with wooden shelves probably is an add of about $50-60k to the home price. Solid real wood floors throughout as well are easily $125k extra. There's wood everywhere in this home and wood prices are still insane.
Archways are a no go for me. It just does not match both the whole house architecture and interior design. It contrasted heavily against the black sliding door by the living room.
"Costco" door is a waste of space. The entry in from the garage is just a few steps away, so that door is useless. That space would be better used for a chest freezer.
This a beautiful home but why the jack /jill when u could have on sweet for homes over a million dollars, just my opinion. I’m not a fan of jack and Jill because someone could walk in by accident . Again this home has a great layout with very nice decor.
I think the door between the pantry and garage is very gimmicky. When I think pantry, I think long term food storage keeping insects, light, and unconditioned air out. You know what I don't want in my pantry? A door directly leading to unconditioned space filled with bugs.
You have been showing a lot of homes that the average person could never dream of owning. They are nice but why would want to look at something I could never ever contemplate to own.
It would be nice to see smaller homes, and I'm not talking about the manufactured homes on your other channel. More like 2 to 3000 some sq. ft. The oversized homes are not realistic for the average American, and frankly, they all look very similar. I skip a lot of videos because it's just the same, over and over.
I watch a ton of your videos and I have to say that there has been a noticeable reduction in the quality of your videos. The videos have been ending abruptly with no outro. You have not had any drone shots in your recent videos. Verbal errors seem to be happening more frequently, and rather than rerecording the clips, you just put text on the screen. The background music does not fit the vibe of the homes your are showcasing. Background music was much better in your older videos. The voice audio is only coming from the right channel in this video. This should have been caught and fixed in editing. It's likely that you (or your editor) were not using headphones while editing (which is necessary for examining audio quality). I used to watch your videos from start to finish. Now I find myself just skipping throughout your videos only watching the highlights. I'm not sure of what is going on behind the scenes, but something has changed and not for the good.
He's got some growing pains for sure. But it does seem like he reads the comments. The reason for the abrupt ending is because he filmed his new rating system with these last several videos. When he introduced the rating system most people didn't like it. It was too long and he just repeated everything he said in the video. It seems he decided to remove the rating part from the most recent videos so they just end without any outro. Since he films a couple months before posting I'm guessing we have maybe another month or so of videos that are going to be like this before we either get a modified rating system or he goes back to how he was ending videos previously. As for the production quality, it is legit terrible. It's hard to watch someone have a good product but not take their production quality seriously. With 175k subs he absolutely can't be recording on his iPhone (X maybe?). His channel is going to come to s standstill as far as growth goes if he can't fix the issues we both mentioned. People won't stick around for low quality audio/video to find out he actually has a good product otherwise.
Have yall ever edited a video before? Like actually edited? It can take hours to do a 1 - 2 minute video. As a video editor, I think his videos are fine. I also understand how overwhelming and intense editing can be.

That is a swanky Jack and Jill. Both sides having their own toilets and one inside a water closet. And the shower/tub room. Wow.
I love the music actually. Great job and beautiful home!
I love how the video has the dimensions of the room as subtitles.
What a beautiful home! Love that laundry room!
That whas a amazing showing god bkess

I absolutely love the layout of this place. It's very big and and beautiful.
I really loved this design. But I still don’t understand why there is no outside door from the laundry room. You would have to walk through the house with a basket of wet washing to hang it out. Never see clothes lines in the back gardens either. Do you tumble dry everything in the USA? In the UK we use the outside to dry washing as much as we can
Our family also uses a clothes line. We're in Indiana in a rural county. I know some neighborhoods in the suburbs specifically prohibit clotheslines.
1st floor laundry shouldn't be so far from the bedroom suites though. It should be between the owners suite and that office/guest suite!
I love this home, I like how the rooms have more of a sense of separation on the bottom floor, I'm not quite sure that the kitchen has enough upper cabinets for me but I'd have to inspect them for my self. Favorite...until...the NEXT video...LMAO!!! Thanks Tim!!
Here in the greater Kansas City area, we too call them Costco doors...lol Builders around here actually put that nomenclature on their features sheets.
Hi Timothy. You mentioned the floors, can you tell me who makes them?
Simply gorgeous 👍👍
Hey Timothy do you have the floor plan for this house?
Your website is awesome. Just found my dream home 🤩
Beautiful, but I would still need a basement.
This is a nice home

The Costco door is a good addition, but I wouldn’t put so close to the corner because it of potential spiderwebs and critters

Kind of strange that the laundry is on the second floor in the master is on the first I've never seen that
There was laundry on the first floor as well.
Again with the television so far above the fireplace you might as well be looking at the ceiling I don't know why all these new homes do it I would never ever buy a house that is set up like that you know what I mean
Nice video tour, but good grief the audio is terrible lol
Video too. Tim needs to get himself a dedicated 4K camera for filming these and stop using his iPhone, which looks like it's at least a few years old.
I love this home Tim! I only wish it had a basement.

There’s more storage in the laundry room than the kitchen 🤷🏻♀️
There is no microwave in this house. I would not want a counter microwave for this price home.

Also it sounds like this is a voice over
This must be a common concept because Ive seen a family with this “exact” house before.

You need to get a life
@@plasmac9 I agree with both you guys it’s gone to heck not worth my time really
Have yall ever edited a video before? Like actually edited? It can take hours to do a 1 - 2 minute video. As a video editor, I think his videos are fine. I also understand how overwhelming and intense editing can be.
Beautiful. You're doing a fine job. Ignore the haters.
Not worth $2mil
I've seen better. Not too impressed.
It’s way way way overpriced!!!!!
