This video was amazing! That sailboat is really something special, wow! And it got even better when I read the description they worked for Boeing, Im studying aviation and doing my chopper license at the moment. These guys are literally my idols. I have a banged up 23ft sailboat, aluminium hull. Nothing like Charm but. I love this boat and couple! Keen to see more
Loved the episode! I’m now a subscriber. Very interesting to hear about this boat’s ICW capabilities. Love to hear about these successful live-aboard couples. I started my channel NavalGazingatCampDavid just to try to convince my wife to do a circumnavigation as a retirement project. I’m making some progress. Lol.
We’ve got a Manta “Skyfall” currently in Marco Island. Finishing a mild refit with plans to start off in the Bahamas next season for 4-6 months and then beyond. Hope Michelle and I see you out there!
We plan to be in the Bahamas late December/early January. Have you contacted anyone in the Manta owners group? Lots of times the Manta’s come up for sale there first and never get advertised. @@JohnRood-n1k
Why don't they make sailboats with these mods already built in? Thought I wanted Manta 42 until seeing you've got to be a seasoned electrical engineer and diesel mechanic before owning one. Those two are a couple of intellectually talented folks with what appears to be ample electro-mechanical training/education/experience. Anyway, great video! Lots of respect for this couple, and I'm very happy for them as they enjoy life on the water. Thanks.
Hey Peter, glad to liked the video. Unfortunately I lost all the footage from the interview. :( But hopefully I can meet up with them again and have another. :)
It's a great boat, a great couple, but why this weird push on wokeness? Stop shoving the equity crap. If it works for them, fine, but this came off as propaganda for feminist ideology, a proven disaster.
I think you missed my point. Going woke is not at all what I'm trying for. Like I said in the video, this is the first couple I've met where the woman usually handles the normally "blue" tasks. I think it's cool to see, and something that should be encouraged for many practical reasons.

Those windows looking out over the water are probably the coolest feature I've ever seen on a boat.
Cheers buddy! :)
Great Manta tour! Dean and Kris are an amazing, wonderful couple. -Tiki Hej, 2005 Manta 42
They are great!
The table is simply phenomenal. Period, point, blank. ❤❤❤
That seems like a dream Cat for a couple.
For sure!

I love that hear that. They are a wonderful couple. :)
Christine is our electrical/technical expert on-board Keani. Christine is the Admiral and I’m just the Captain. We must be the “new norm!”
That's awesome! I'm a bit jealous!
Christine installed our inverter, rewired our battery bank, hooked up fans, Victron battery monitor, etc…
Great video!
Thanks!
what a great group of folks
Right!
Looking forward to the interview part 2.
Unfortunately I had a problem with the footage and was forced to abandon part 2 :(
Interesting ... Great boat and couple ! thx
Glad you enjoyed it
The best mid-price cats I've seen.

Nice! Have fun!
I hope your plans worked out. I'm up the road in Ft Myers Beach, hoping to find a Manta 42 in the next few months as well.

Because that would significantly add to the cost. And many might not need this much.
Thanks, that was cool

Hahahaha
Neat boat. I would love to learn more about it. Did you get the second video done? Thanks,
The audio from that interview did not turn out well. So I scrapped that project.
why did they stop building them ?
Dan, great video and I am very interested in the interview. Please send.

Cool Video, new sub
Thanks for the sub
@Adventureman_Dan were you a machinist in a previous life, or was that stuff the owners?
Mam/ Sir can I ask you how many feet wide are the hulls at mid point and how many feet from hull roof to floor.
No idea buddy.

@@Adventureman_Dan That guy doesn't even deserve a response. He couldn't even use the word "equality" correctly.
