    I really like their batteries and the quality, their BMS is very Good.
    What i like about their batteries is that the cells are Grade A cells, and the pack is compatible with most of the top brand inverters like SMA, Victron, Goodwe, Deye, Voltronic, Growatt etc,
    I recommend for anyone that wants to use lithium batteries because their prices are very competitive and products are quality

    I like how they a stackable. And the quality of the build. It would be interesting to have data logging for service inspection warranty and even IOT and get performance data from the field that u can use to improve designs and advise customers on battery health before anything catastrophic happens

      @Justaguy0420 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure they have data logging in their software. Most BMSs do. It uses RS485 so by nature it’s absolutely possible to integrate into your BAS. Cambus modbus bacnet lonworks are all capable of IOT integration. Probably won’t see it on some customer grade software like google home or apple HomeKit but it’s probably already being done.

    Very nice, and well executed system!
    I do have just 1 well-intentioned comment:
    Parts that are connected to each other with (screw) connections, through which Voltage or Amperage runs, may possibly cause "amperage corrosion".
    Think of the white deposit on the plus terminal of an old car battery.
    If you apply special battery terminal grease between the screw connectors, amperage corrosion can NEVER occur.
    Amperage corrosion can even, in the long run, lead to short circuits and/or other defects.

    And it will be good to install at least 2 temperature sensor on each battery module (4 in each battery pack) to be connected to BMS, not to measure only temperature in box...

  • @ReflectedMiles
    @ReflectedMiles 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nope, we start out by measuring the voltage of each cell to see how well matched they are or if there are any bad ones, and THEN we start slapping on the buss bars and finish the balancing if they were already close. If they weren't, we send the mismatched ones back until we have a quality set to start.

      @SeplosTechnology  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @reflected Miles Thanks for your professional advice. In this video, we're expecting to present a way of cell balancing for DIYers, whose cells are with a slight capacity difference.

    Btw. I don't understand how you can possibly balance at 3.3 volts when parallelling cells. You are right in the flat area of the charge curve. That's rediculous practice. Charge them up to 3.5 volts at least, all parallel and you are set.

    Nice Work! After i have visit the datasheet of the chinese LiFePo4 cells the LFP cells have a fullcycle lifetime about 2000 cycles. with SOC 27% maybe 4000 ? Do you have some expirience with this cells? I think this is the LiitoKala cell you can buy also on Aliexpress?
    I mean the battery is after end of lifetime not dead and have a capacity of 25,3 kWh. In your video i see the low voltage system for PV systems. I have fronius system and this use high voltage battery system. Do you can use the packs with serial configuration for HV use to inverter?

    What is the rate of explosions per installed systems for household systems. The fact is batteries can and have failed and burned and sparked violently. Im curious on what that risk factor is. 1 burned down house per million houses maybe? What is the fair risk people would consider?

    At least you did a diagonal connection to the inverter but... If each of these 6 packs is capable of outputting 100A of current then technically the cable nearest the inverter connection could carry 600A in the event of a problem. I can't see the rating of the short daisy chain cables but they look flimsy and certainly not capable of that amperage. I would not be happy to have this setup in my renewable energy building looks like an accident waiting to happen.

    • @SeplosTechnology
      @SeplosTechnology  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your suggestions. You're right.
      In this case, we're just testing the communication between battery and inverter, actually no loads was connected. In real case, a busbar box will be recommended.
