Steeler fan here. Studied video of Steelers-Jags game and Foye was incredible. Seemed to know ahead of time what was coming. Always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Never lost containment. Never bit or jumped a route at the wrong time. Always took the perfect angle. He called a near perfect defensive game. It's one thing to have an economics degree from Yale, and something else to have such quick recognition and field vision. He's not just smart, he's quick smart, and high character. Jaguars are lucky to have him leading their defense.

Saw an interview with someone on the coaching staff who said Doug P when looking at players take their SAT and GPA into consideration. Foye definitely nailed that part as well as being a flatout beast. His intelligence on the field and being able to read plays is unmatched. The man is a machine.
MLB is probably the position that takes the most intelligence besides QB. Gotta be the anchor of the defense and be reading the backfield the same way a QB reads a defense
Finally, dude is getting recognition. This guy had the most tackles in 2021 and 2022 in the NFL and still didn't even manage to get voted by his colleagues into the top 10 which is wild. Oluokun is such a good player, as a Jags fan, I didn't understand why we paid him so much money but after last season it was crystal clear.
I'm Caribbean and was raised in a very similar way as Foye. Parents always emphasized education and expected high achievements always. I played baseball instead, but the attitude was generally the same. I unfortunately wasn't talented enough to go pro and now work on Wall Street, but I'm thankful for sports and the mentality it helped give me because it's definitely an advantage in the board room and negotiating table.

I believe he went to Yale University and it’s one of those Ivy League schools who recruit the smartest students on their campus. He was a 6-rounder who was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons. He is a tackling machine who makes his teammates better.
As a falcons fan he was easily the fan favorite it hurt seeing him go after 2021 season. Glad he’s been recognized man’s a dawg. In December 26th 2021 he sealed the game by intercepting Jared Goff in the red zone. My brother in law and I were 20 yards away from the play. The pov was amazing. I’ll never forget that home game.❤️🖤 love you foye
I can’t believe no one mentioned his basically 3 onside kick recoveries in a single game from Younghoe Koo vs the Saints on Thanksgiving. That is the first thing I think of when I hear that name.
I remember he was becoming a rising star in Atlanta. Him and Deion Jones were an underrated duo and he’s now a superstar LB in this league. He’s in a perfect spot and home in Jacksonville

I was NFL bound until them Sebring Lightning bolt boys took out my knees in the Heartland Championship game of the 7th grade Junior high school round of 64 in 1997. Them good ole days as the running back for them Hardee Junior High Wildcats.
I am a die hard Bucs fan…& I must say! Ever since his rookie season in the league…he’s been one of my favorite linebackers! The man has an innate sense for the game! he flows…finds ball, gets ball & in his last season with Atlanta, I saw a huge leap in his coverage skills. I hope he gets his flowers sooner rather than later. Guys like him…like Lavonte David…they just don’t get their just due.
Besides that he´s an incredible athlete, he seems like he´s a great guy. Honest, hard working, respectful, being a good teammate. That dude is a rolemodel.
Foye is a monster. I made a trade for him in Madden once and put him at MLB and won DPOY. Went on to win a Super Bowl with him. Put some respect on his name.
There were two unheralded Linebackers available in free agency this year that I wanted on my team. Oluokun was one of them and David Long Jr was the other. They're both absolute ballers on their new teams and should be spoken of in much higher regard than they are.
Foye and DeVondre are definitely hitting their strides. Sad that Deion hasn’t been the same since his 2018 injury, which ironically paved the way for Foye to get more playing time.
