Being open minded to other's culture is essential when you do this kind of travelling... otherwise you're just gonna offend or feel offended! You're doing a great job.

This video was really interesting! The interaction with the people - I particularly laughed with your response "No, no baby" - the workers in the field, and the scenes along the coast. The scene riding along the red sand road at (4:22) looked magical. It must have been difficult for you to know what to do with the virus situation, and I am glad that you were able to travel and still return safely.

You didn't know at the time but Vietnam is one of the safest countries to be in terms of Corona infections. But you are probably very far from Vietnam already. I'm curious about your bicycles, the wheels are so small. It seems bigger wheels would be much better for rough roads like those, you would feel the bumps much less.
We drive on asfalt 90 % of the time, we chose 26" tyres because they're available all over the world. If we go more offroad we would probably go for bigger tyres :-)
@@WheelstoWander thank you for your reply. I really enjoy watching your videos. Still have many to watch. In that case, you two must be quite tall for the wheels to look so small. Good idea to choose 26 in, it's still the most popular wheel size.

Hello, I’m waiting the next video 😀
It's in the making 👍
Thanks for giving us a great insight into Vietnamese life 👍
Thanks Craig!
Excellent video. Can't wait to return to Asia when covid is more under control.
Thanks! Hopefully we're all able to get back on the road soon! :-)
Hi Guy, you are amazing, and motivating so much.
could you share information detail about your bike?
Has you tried Camino a Santiago de Compostela in Spain?
I've wondered about riding that as well!
Woo-hoo..... Welcome back
Hi B! Thanks 😀
Luckily for you is coming to Vietnam at the moment of traditional Tet. They (include me), people from the big cities will come back to their family, wear the newest and most beautiful clothing to visit each other, send the best wishes to the lunar new year. Not sure where your couple is currently now, hope you always well and continue the expedition. Welcome to Vietnam!
Ride safe...from Philippines
Thanks for the insight Toan, that sounds great to share such an important moment with the family.
Olá, muito bom os seus vídeos! Sou ciclista brasileiro!
Any documents needed for bicycle ??
No :-)
@@WheelstoWander Thanks for your reply.
Really wonderful trip, I hope to visit my country #Algeria
We would really love too, would you think it's safe to travel by bicycle?

Thanks Pierre!
You're doing a fantastic job making your videos. I'm itching to do some touring in Asia, we'll see how things are this winter. Your story is so inspiring. Keep going 😉
Thank you Jorg! 😊
Hello. How are you? Safety first. Thank you for making me beautiful🙏🙏🚴🚲
🙏🌞
The guy with the water buffalo at about 3:45 looks like he'd be happier developing apps, but maybe that's just me reading that into it.
Haha, who knows what he was thinking...
Wish you'd try in our country.. Philliphines..
Amazing tour.
🙏
Are you still in Vietnam?
I'm guessing you are and I really hope you're both fine.
Vietnam is a fascinating country.. I spent four months there with a friend who lives in Hanoi... Like everyone else says... Stay safe and thank you so much for your fantastic videos... You're truly a special couple
Hi John, thank you! No we're back home in the Netherlands due to the current situation of the world. We're working and saving up for a new adventure!
@@WheelstoWander Take care - will be waiting for ur more adventures
