Ehhh twice as better idk. This is already overkill. Putting 2 more 1080s and maximizing the ram won't give it much of a performance boost.
Well he could have spent 7500 out of pocket, or had Digital Storm send him a PC free of charge for free advertising on a channel with over 2 Mil Subscribers... It's cheaper than running a magazine ad or commercial campaign in the long run.
Could easily fit in a Titan X Pascal SLI and still have alot to spare.

You could put 128 gigs of ram, multiple terabytes of SSD space, triple 1080s, the same 5960X, A better case, an NZXT Hue, etc. and still save money if you built it yourself.

DDR4 is why. Motherboards now support 128 GB DDR4. It's very pricey though. $190 for 32 GB so ~$720 for 128 GBs.
I did a Build List with all the parts you listed (found the same case too) and it only came to Total of $2962.50 (CAD$) - Don't buy from Digital Storm.

Yeah, since nVidia doesn't recommend more than 2 cards in SLI and the drivers no longer support 3-way and 4-way SLI as of november 2016, it would be not only wrong but utterly stupid to put more than 2 GTX 1080 inside a PC.
The 32GB of RAM is debatable, I would argue for at least 64GB at this price range, not only that but GSkill has 128GB of DDR4 @ 4000mhz so, and I doubt very much that this system RAM is clocked any higher than 2667mhz because of stability issues.
The only thing that is for sure is that for this kind of money, it's not worth it. But then again, it's a total custom system with the best parts there is, so if you're like this guy in the video and doesn't have a clue as to where to begin building your own system, than it's worth it.
You're paying for the custom case, custom liquid cooling, and all the water blocks. It's not just the hardware. It's got $2500 of hardware in it.
Dude, any pre-built you are buying is a rip off. They are meant for people who cannot build their own rigs. Do you build your own truck when you want a new one?

you can get a pretty good pc under 1000 dollars....often under 500, thats still better than any console.
not knowing what to do? its like lego, there are thousands of tutorials, even a gorilla can follow, not to mention a human...and for compatibility, just go to an online pc shop builder page. when you have the parts you just have to plug everything where it fits

All electronics are subject to obsolescence.
It's 100% outdated at this point. Especially with the 30 series and the cpus that came out with them. That and I'm pretty sure it's running on ddr3 ram so it's definitely outdated at this point.

dude i assure you this isn't needed. It's overkill as hell. It took me around a year til i could afford all the parts i needed but at the end of it i ended up spending around 520 dollars and my pc runs anything i throw at it. It's running witcher 3 at 1080p ultra on 60 fps and bf4 around 80 fps also on ultra. while i haven't tested it because i do not have a 4k monitor i belive it will have no trouble doing 4k resolution on high settings, probably not 60 fps but should be pretty close.
My specs are:
nvidia gtx 1060 6gb
i5 6500 3.2 ghz
a cheap 500 w psu ( sunvision atx or some shit )
8 gb ddr3
1 tb drive
hp compaq pro motherboard
i bought everything from ebay deals and amazon( minus the case, witch i already had ) witch saved me alot of money.
Unless you are under 18 and can't work i belive anybody can get a current gen gaming capable pc.

André Alvites just warning you, that PC could literally blow up on you or just die at any time.
Firstly, you should never get a cheap PSU, they could destroy ALL components in your PC.
And secondly, DDR3 ram is not recommended for skylake CPU's, and can take years off your cpu's life.
Jaysonfred i don't think so, the gtx 1060 isn't really power hungry. I have built a couple pcs in my day and always saved money on psu's and i am yet to have a problem with them. ( never used amd gpus tho) As for the cpu, i am aware but as far as i know there hasn't been any evidence that proves i really can't do it so i wouldn't worry about it for now. there seens to be alot of mixed opinions on the matter so i am not bothering with ddr4 ram and it's more expensive aswel.

TechCertIT I would probably reseat the connectors depending on how they are connected. The connection probably came a little loose during transport, however if I spend that much money I wouldn't even want to have to touch the internal components.

Titan X's dont do that good in SLI, the 1080s are slightly better to have in SLI than having a single card, and having 3 or more is a waste because one will always be at like 0% throttle

They Charge a whole bunch extra for the build/design. Something for me that's just satisfying building my own from scratch. This is still awsome but i could spend less for my own build of equal power.

The 1080s in sli may bottleneck if the game doesnt support sli. If you notice framerate drop turn sli off and play with only going.

some liquid coolers dont have to be changed. i have the corsair h100i gtx, pretty much no maintenance at all.
That's a closed loop cooler, you can't even change the liquid. With a custom loop, you do have to change the water once in a while, depending on what kind of liquid they use
