  • The inverter is done using a ferrite core from an old ATX cmputer supply, driven by a SG3525 followed by an IR2110 integrated circuit. It uses push-pull configuration with 2 x IRFB59N10 on each coil. The primary winding has 2X5 turns using litz wire (10 wires of 0,2 mm each), covering all the core surface. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE 2 PRIMARY COILS TO BE SYMMETRICAL, WITH THE SAME NUMBER OF TURNS, ETC. The secondary winding has 140 turns using enameled copper 0,5 mm. Rectification an voltage doubler is done with 2 X HER306 diodes. The obtained power is minimum 300W, but my 12 CC supply drops to 11V, so maybe wit a better power supply it woud be possible to obtain more than 300W power.
