I just learned this in trade school (electrician) and cannot tell you how happy I was that I was able to understand where he was going before he got to the explanation. It gave me a huge confidence boost that I maybe able to take this stuff further.

You've got to love this man. You made me remember mi first circuits analisys classes in college, 60% of the class abandoned the carrer and went to try another engineering degree after the second exam. Headaches for several months but I can´t remember a class I could have loved more
I was hoping he talked about transistors, but boy this is even better.
This dude took my 4 year Batchelor in electronics and compressed it down to 15 mins. My university suddenly feels useless and so do I.

more speaks to how much, "go teach yourself the rest" there is in universities that the time spent reading around the subject for a broad reading can instead be compressed for just the most useful information. a non trivial achievement if you are familliar with how much of an existential headache good information compression is.

I was wondering, if you haven't covered something like this already, would you be able to explain the difference between a microphone and an "speaker?"
I understand the function of each is opposite, as one has no purpose without the other, an input and an output.
But I don't understand how the circuitry must differ in so that each performs their intended function, despite utilizing the same electromagnetic-diaphragm mechanism to convert sound into an electrical signal.

@@gunnerman-dw4qj at school when you learn , is not really time to have fun with the teacher becuase is a different story. You can't just always be a magician in front of the students , you have to teach them corectly and also electroboom isn't saying the whole thing , otherwise the video will be one hour. So please don't compare a video to a school hour (im not saying that electroboom is bad at teaching)
