Any idea of the part number at 6:26? When you say “we need to reuse this piece”. Mine is broken and has no clip to hold it on.

I just put in after market headlights on my 2004 jetta because one of my headlights went out (and the old one were ugly and faded) and now the same one doesnt work, but those wires dont look bad.. what could be the problems? I already checked the fused and the connections match perfectly. I cant figure out what's wrong. Could it be an old battery?

I don't think a battery would do that. You could check for voltage at the headlight connections if you think its not getting power. I would check your bulbs. Thats where I suspect the issue is. When installing the bulbs, someone may have inadvertently touched the bulb itself (instead of only handling the base). What happens is the oils from your hands makes a hot spot on the bulb when its burning and they will burn out very rapidly. Id check the bulbs. If they are still good, then Id check for voltage at the headlight connection then again at the bulb connection.

Hit Man I’d recommend you check it with a volt meter. Unplug the light, turn only headlights on then check for voltage at each terminal. Then you will know for sure. You could also do that inside the headlight housing. Repeat the process for the turn signal. You will know you’ve got it right when your voltmeter jumps back and forth between 12v and 0 volts (blinker working)
