Thank You very much! After first trying myself and then searching the complete internet including ChatGPT to replace the H7 Light on my Golf IV, i found your video. And yours is simply the only real Golf IV Frontlight bulb replecement video, because it shows the complete process an the details behind! Whithout it I could never have changed the bulbs by myself. Thank You a thousend times 🙂
Indeed, this is the best video on changing both the golf headlight bulbs. This guy shows you how to do this with the headlight housing attached to the vehicle, like in the real world for all of us
Absolutely superb video, with the detail shown perfectly! I just need it to stop raining so I can swap out my dipped/full beam bulbs - the joy of England in January. 😩😂
Thank you for this guide. I had to remove the battery to make room for my fat fingers to replace the H1 (high beam) and H7 (low beam) bulbs on the drivers side. 👍 I found the little plugs on the H1 bulbs to be somewhat troublesome to fit back on to the pins they were connected to. H7's were super easy though.
Thanks man! Thanks to your tutorial I could change the main bulb and the small side bulb without any issues on my Golf 4. Would have been a lot harder without you! Much love from Germany!
Thank you so much! The auto part stores where I live have no idea what light bulb goes in the side light. I am very thankful to have found your video with the model number for each light!
Thank you! This helped me to change the little side light on the right light of the car. Strangely the left one failed when i changed the right one (i had disconnected the "+" from the battery before doing anything). I changed the right one too and now they all work. Thanks!
Most accurate video on the Tube, thanks a lot :). Do you have any good link to get that sort of kit to replace all the wiring? Got all frayed wires. thx
This is the most EXCELLENT video, I am most grateful, you are to be congratulated. I could clearly see each stage and loved your comment that I should make sure the bulb is “happy” in it’s slot because I was very happy to have been able to change the bulb in my dear old Golf. Thank you very much my best wishes to you. ******
Oooh, getting clever. Ciggy Lighter socket wasn't working so I youtubed how to change the fuse and have done that as well!!! Surprised myself. You gotta start with the small things that matter!! x
@@TheSporti57 Some people find it easier just to remove headlight and then change the bulb. I don't have that car now, don't remember how exactly - there should be couple screws.
Whenever my golf IV breaks a bulb, I make sure to change ALL of these bulbs at the same time, costs like 30bucks, but you avoid the risks och breaking another bulb only a few miles afterwards... Also, it's much easier to remove the bumber and pull the entire headlight off.... T25 wrench is literally all you need.
@@wawayltd I've seen several tutorials about how to wash the engine compartment of golf 4, but none of them seem to be made properly. Do you think you can make one? You have a wonderful way of explaining things :) have a good one mate!

Sorry Anthony, I don't have that car for about 4 years. TPS sell original VW parts. You can try to search Internet (like Autodoc). But I don't think I can do it better than you.

Xenon bulbs normally take more space. Personally, I didn't have to deal with them, but I believe you would need to take your main beam xenon bulb out to get access to side bulb.
Someone commented that to replace inners - best thing to do is remove light and then replace bulbls. Here's how you remove it: th-cam.com/video/p_gjdwydBZo/w-d-xo.html
Even after 7 years , This is still the best video out there on the whole TH-cam.

Best to remove bumper and pull the housings. Pain in the behind but the easiest way to do bulb changes.
For the fog lights I wanna make it orange. does the wire come off from the original light or do I have to Buy one with the wire
It depends what lights you have for replacing. Try to talk to people who sold them?
Does keys need to be in car or car need to be locked while we changing lights
It doesn't really matter. Just make sure that there is no voltage going to headlight. Switch it off, and, probably, best to take key out of ignition.
