From the title, I half-expected it to be something to do with the Dark Skies TV show, since that involved alien creatures that got inside people and took them over: literally "The Enemy Inside". Dark Skies: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Skies
I'll preface this by saying that I am most definitely a fan of Enemy Inside. I was introduced to them and their music in early 2019...and am "friends" on Facebook with one of the guitarists (Evan K., who also had a role in the Exit Eden project...which, if you haven't already, would be something interesting worth checking out.) The song that I was first introduced to was "Phoenix" - th-cam.com/video/322PGPHkHjQ/w-d-xo.html And, they released a new track, "Crystallize", a little over a month ago - th-cam.com/video/DVaBnE1clsQ/w-d-xo.html And, I had the opportunity to see them live in December 2019. Definitely a fun band live. And one of the opening acts that night was a band named "Phantom Elite"...and they released their new album a month ago. Might be another band worth adding to the ever-growing laundry list of bands/songs to check out. (The lead singer of Phantom Elite was one of the four vocalists in Exit Eden...so, there's that.)
Thank you both for this..Now I can go to bed here in Finland as a very happy man. P.S. They have so far released just one album called "Phoenix" in case Ginger wants to stream their music from e.g. Spotify.. There's also another great acoustic version of one of their songs from that album: ENEMY INSIDE - "Doorway To Salvation" (Official Acoustic Session) th-cam.com/video/fF5yvwv3DLk/w-d-xo.html
I recently discovered Enemy Inside and really like them. Female-fronted rock and metal is my comfort zone but I'm a little picky about which bands really connect with me. This is one of them. Phoenix is a good starting point for them. They also have a song Crush, which is a cover of a song you might recognize. :)
What I liked most was the soft vocal at the start and the lyrics were great. The music melody was not the type for me "acquired taste I guess". Wish them all success on this song though . And Mike, I forget alot more than I remember now, lol, Great react guys. Play it Again...
Now, that's how you start a morning. Just beautiful. Really liked that.
The acoustic version is so cool, but the regular version is awesome !!
, Grand piano - that's furniture you must get😃 Easy for Mike to move: "dear it still looks better in that corner"
